"truck stop over but nice"
For the type of the hotel tis is our stay was fine. Room Clean though it did have a slight smell of diesel fuel. I would stay again if i was 4 wheeling in the area again. Decent breakfast layout too.

Good location. Clean and safe area. Pool not heated though.

The hotel was great for us to hang out after a day riding in the desert. The staff was very nice and made sure all of our needs were met. My family really enjoyed the pool and the nice truckers that stayed there with the travel stories they told us. Plenty of parking and well lite. We will stay here again the free breakfast was great for the kids the […] cereal, toast, pastries, and fruit were all what they enjoyed before heading back into the pool. "Days Inn South Lenwood, Barstow, CA"
This was the worst hotel stay I ever had. I work in the hotel business and the condition of this hotel was awful. The room smelled of smoke, the sheets smelled of motor oil, the mattress was very lumpy, the AC unit screeched all night, the towels and carpets were stained and there was hair left in the bathtub. I didn't get any sleep at all. I only stayed […] because of a long drive and fatigue that set in while travelling from northern CA to Las Vegas. My first choice was the nearby Comfort Inn & Suites that was sold out. Lesa meira
Not a bad motel for the money. Our rooms air conditioner blew out hot air and they were very willing and quick to change rooms for us. My only real complaint is that the rooms did stink but we just opened the door for awhile and let them air out. Close to many fast food and gas stations.

"Good for the price"
Really nice staff, nice for one night and for sure good for the price of it!
"Great room for the Money"
The room was very comfortable but the mattress was a little too firm.

We have no complaints, the room was super clean and comfortable, and the staff was excellent.
"Last time staying here"
The toilet ran all night. The air conditioning kept running off and on but the room never really cooled off. They recently remodeled and replaced the mattresses. It felt like sleeping on a box springs.
"A little hidden"
I have stayed in a few economy hotels and you get what you pay for, and that is what I thought I would find at Days Inn. It was a very pleasent expireance. It was a liitle hard top find because it was back behind the truck stops. Now, do not let that paint a bad picture. There are all sorts of resturant and a big outlet shopping mall on the opposite […] side of the freeway. This hotel also has something that I thought was handy for those that might be towing a trailer. Parking spaces big enough for a semitruck. So, you could easily pull off the freeway, get your selves a room, take a shower, go for a swim, do a little outlet shopping, get something to eat, wake up the next day, stop at the truckstop to feul up with gas,snacks,drinks,ete. easily get back on the freeway and be on your way. "DaysInn South Lenwood ist absolut ok"
Motel liegt im Nichts in der Nähe der Interstate nahe Barstow. In der Nähe befinden sich Tankstellen, Restaurantketten (u.a. McDonalds direkt nebenan) und nicht weit entfernt ist auch eine Outletmall und ich glaube da war auch ein Supermarkt bei. Motel ist ein typischer Motelbau. Ein Zimmer weg von der Interstate zu verlagen kann nicht schaden, allerdings […] haben wir nichts davon gehört, stört also eher nicht. Motel war recht leer. Außer Durchreisenden übernachtet dort vermutlich auch keiner, da ringsum wie gesagt nichts von Interesse ist. Sauberkeit war gut, Personal ok, Frühstück gibt es bis 9 Uhr (und die Dame nimmt das auch sehr genau ;-). Alles in allem kann man da gut übernachten, uns ist nichts negatives aufgefallen. Positiv ist der Preis und die verkehrsgünstige Lage. Lesa meira
