"Miðsvæðis og þægilegt."
Umsögn frá gesti Hotels.com á 21. des. 2012Channel Inn reyndist mun betra hótel en ég átti von á miðað við verð. Herbergið var rúmgott og þægilegt, öll aðstaða á hótelinu sjálfu til fyrirmyndar og starfsfólkið yndislegt. Eina sem ég saknaði var að geta hellt upp á kaffi á herberginu - en hægt var að panta upp á herbergi. Staðsetningin hótelsins er frábært, stutt í allt, innan við 10 mínútna gangur í Metro (þar á meðal L'Enfant Place hvaðan leiðir liggja í allar áttir) og notalegt að fá sér göngutúr meðfram ánni, en hótelið sendur við hana. Ég mæli með þessu hóteli.

Umsögn frá gesti Hotels.com á 11. des. 2012Dvölin var góð og innra fyrirkomulag íbúðarinnar hentaði okkur 3 fullorðnum mjög vel. Allur búnaður í eldhúsi var viðeigandi. Íbúðin var rúmgóð og staðsetning milli Georgstown annars vegar og miðhluta Washingtonborgar hinsvegar var góð.

I had a mini staycation with a friend and needed a hotel with a reasonable price. Considering the are (the "golden triangle"), I think I got a great deal. Their lounge has awesome specials: $5 cocktails, martinis, and apps all day. I would definitely stop there again when I am in D.C. I didn't need any service, so I can't speak on that. I had taken the red eye and arrived very early. I was met with the rudest night desk clerk. She explained my options and if I could have I would have booked another hotel. Our stay was wonderful! The hotel is in a great location, right in the Golden Triangle District, a $6 cab ride away for Georgetown & the museums, resturants, & movie theather. Their website and the $300 price tag, I was disappointed to find a somewhat outdated, dimly lit room with motel-style heaters in the bedroom that were not effective or easy to use. The service was very pleasant and accommodating, and the room and linens wer clean, but I was disappointed with […] the overall appearance and functionality of the room. Perhaps the addition of a working kitchen and extra living space would be worthwhile for a long trip or family, but as a business traveller, I was looking for something more open and airy. Had a conference at National Geographic headquarters, this hotel was 4 blocks away on M at 20th. Great value for money given the location. Staff was charming, happy, making me feel really welcome (not easy!). Small check-in counter and building has other tenants (people at ground floor restaurant-bar). I took my daughter for an impromptu trip to DC and got a truly incredible room rate at the St. Gregory. The rate was so good that I expected little but the hotel was truly luxurious and the staff could not have been more pleasant. "last minute surprise"
Booked this at the last minute via phone. Gave operator criteria and she nailed it. Very clean! Loved the toiletries that were supplied. Secure. Elevators require key swipe to use. "its fine--but certainly not luxury"
I wouldn't call this a luxury hotel. Its fine. I woudl say that they need to have a bedbug consultant come in. It was clean, and the mattress did have an allergy zip wrap. but they had dust ruffles towards the ground (a definate no-no) in these bedbug times. the decor was a bit sad and certainly outdated. Be aware, these are more suites with full kitchens. […] a bit odd for sure if you aren't looking for it or expecting it. The TV in the bedroom was in the closet and the doors didn't really open wide enough to see the full picture. good TV, but not great if you only see 90% of the screen.
