"Good hotel. Location very convenient."
Hotel very well maintained. New property. All room amenities worked well. WiFi provided and worked as well. Location close to Dolphin Expressway allows easy access to Miami Bch and the airport, Food, shopping all close by. Clean guest laundry facilities. Highly recommended.

wow...I have stayed at this hotel many times - all comfortable. I like the fact that no one is coming in the room while I am at work. I purchase groceries for the week and save a considerable amount on eating out. The only item this week was the shower head in room 101...all other rooms had great pressure. This room had a non=adjustable shower head […] that provided only a weak rainfall shower...that was annoying. Like flying an airline where every aircraft is different...this room is not representative of the other rooms. Enjoy your stay...not luxury at all....simple...bring your own soap please the bars provided are tiny and very drying to your skin. I always bring my own. Lesa meira
"noisy air con but super rooms"
Rooms are modern bright and the little kitchenette is handy. Air con was very noisy and windows dont open so it was needed even though in Dec opening a window would have done the job. Really good for overnight stay before airport or a trip in Miami if you like driving as is located in a business district rather than a tourist area.

Its ok to stay a couple of days but needs a little updating. And they should offer free wireless internet, they charge a small fee for a 24hr period. Everything else was good.

comfortable....though I set the frig to the coldest setting and my salads froze :>((....my fault. candlewood suites is somewhat better than this property....3 types of pillows, a gym, popcorn etc...but extended stay is more reasonable and just as comfortable. the staff is friendly and attentive. parking and access is very convenient..you can go in any […] door front sides and back...at least 6 restaurants within 6 blocks. Mickey D's 2 doors down if you like fast food. walmart & sams maybe 10 blocks south..if you are into lower prices...very convenient if you need to be in doral or near FIU. Maybe too far west for airport transfers.. this is a simple hotel with 2 burner stove, micro and full frig. happy trails to you Lesa meira
"comfy, kind staff, easy in-out"
decent safe place to stay. No gym, no brkfst. bed is comfortable and good value for the price. Staff is attentive and aware. Coffee by the door in the AM. Kitchenette is perfect for short term stay. TV has limited offerings. Internet is extra. If you have heavy reports to run at night...all these reasonable price hotels have the same internet service […] where you have to call the 800 number to get a faster response. Annoying I know, but once you call, you are set for the week. Internet is sometimes off after 11PM, not sure why. Water pressure is great and hot water is quick Lesa meira

"worth the price"
Well located. Safe area. Close to airport and warehouses. You have to do your own BED ... !! (i dont bother that). Low cost, clean. You get what you paid. It works for me. I come here to work.

Basically if you plan to stay less than a week you don't matter. I reserved a non smoking room and my room smelled like smoke. Also, when I tried to check out the lady tried to tell me I could not check out because my slip was not on the counter. You definitely get what you pay for staying here.

Large comfortable rooms, quiet place, easy location to access main driveways, close to Dolphin Mall, free parking. Good value.

"The hotel in Doral close to Miami airport"
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The service was not good. When I checked in the male receptionist was not friendly. I went to the bathroom in the lobby when arriving and it was dirty. Toilet tissue was all over the floor. This should have been a sign. Once arriving in my room, it was dirty as well. The bathroom toilet had cigarette ashes […] on the toilet. Their were also roaches in my room. Also, I was in a non smoking room, but could smell smoke from the room across the hall. I might as well had been in a smoking room myself. Lastly, if you want your room cleaned during your visit. You must stay a week to have that pleasure. Overall, this hotel will not be on my radar when I visit Miami again. Lesa meira

"Nice hotel for a week or more stay"
I was plessantly surprised by this hotel. i got a great deal on the price and I wasnt expecting much. The hotel was clean, located close to MIA in a great neighborhood. Has a good BBQ resturant right next door. The rooms are cute with a kitchen inside. The beds could really use an upgrade and they only give you 2 pillows. "Hotels was clean and overall in good standing"
This is a quiet simple hotel, but for business trip it satisfied all you need on the road, good space, good kitchenet and A/A pluas an acceptable bed for a very reasonable price. You get what you pay for it.

3 pillows for a king size bed, and the AC was very noisy, and would shut off and on literally every 5 mins. But it had a full kitchen for the price. Would stay again but ask for better room.

I called and made a reservation and told the person I talked to we would be arriving very late. They said this would be no problem. I called the hotel to tell them I would be arriving at 2am, again ok no problem. I called the hotel again to say I would probably be even later, ok no problem. At 3am I arrived in Miami and called the hotel for directions […] from the airport, I was told to call the office in the morning as the desk was closed for the night. We had been driving for 16 hrs with my 2 dogs and we were all exhausted and needed to get up at 7am for a graduation. My husband found the airport police and they gave us directions and how to get someone to answer the door. Once we got past arriving and settling in our stay was fine. Lesa meira

Nice hotel. In June heat, room was nice and cold, best I have ever had. I did find a pocket book under the bed containing passports and money. Apparently the maids did not vacuum well the day before. Employees were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. Good location.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful . The rooms were clean and comfortable . A little far from south beach and downtown but still Doral was a nice area .

This hotel is not bad, but it is average...I guess ok....the location is a bit farther than I wanted from the airport, the staff is not too helpful nor friendly, the room had sort of a "humid" smell, but it was clean. I stayed at an Extended Hotel because the price was good, though I did not need it since it was only for 1 night, so maybe if I was traveling […] with the family, I would consider it....but alone, I am not sure. "Nice location"
For a one night stay after a cruise, this hotel was ideal - located midway between the port and airport. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Many restaurants within walking distance.

"Disappointed"
I was very disappointed that the bathroom only had two towels and when I went to exchange them at the front desk I had to wait all day for clean towels because the person at the front desk was the same person washing the towels and didn't have time to get to it. I ended up going to walmart to buy towels. Also disappointed that the kitchen wasn't fully […] equipped to cook a meal. The can opener is 100 years old and there was only one pot. There was a sample dishwashing liquid packet for a five night stay. I didn't expect to go to walmart for the items the hotel was missing. Lesa meira

I was here for three nights. The only negative is that I booked a room with a King bed...but they said they did not have any left and gave me a room with a Queen bed. Other than that, the hotel was clean and in a good neighborhood. There are many places to eat just around the corner. The neighborhood felt very safe. I would definitely stay here ag […] ain. "Extended stay america- Miami airport"
The hotel is listed as 3.8 miles from the airport. It is further than that, as it cost $25 each way for a cab. I passed many hotels on the way to this one, hotels that did not come up on my hotels.com search as being closer to the airport. The key didn't work in my hotel room door and the front desk clerk refused to come up with me to let me in initially. […] She assumed I was doing something wrong with the key, which I was not. I took 3 trips up and down to reception before I could get into the room. I had to insist the clerk come let me in the room. No key was produced that would work, so I was unable to come and go at my leisure. I asked for a place to get dinner and was sent to a restaurant off site, only to find there was room service available at the hotel. Not happy with the service at all. Lesa meira
"Not worth it"
The hotel is in a neighborhood with almost no amenities around, but overall looked safe. There is smell in the hallways like the one present in many nursing homes (it was not a problem inside the room). I could not tell if the sheets were actually clean/replaced from before. There were black spots on the sheets as if from old blood that was washed later […] in multiple cycles. The linens did not look fresh. There is no hair dryer. Even the little shampoo bottle in the bathroom had the seal broken (although it did not look like any of the contents were missing). Would not stay there again and would not recommend unless totally strapped for cash. However, considering that the taxi from the airport was $22 (cash only). For the extra $40 you can stay in a much nicer hotel with free airport shuttle. Overall it is a very questionable deal. Lesa meira

Beds and pillows are pretty uncomfortable. Okay for one night. Hair dryers had to be picked up at front desk. Kitchen fully equipped with microwave, toaster, fridge and cooking place, which was a great help.

"Stay out if you plan to stay longer"
The rooms are good and spacious and the reason we booked this hotel was because it has kitchen . the biggest problem are the fire alarms, I think they have faulty alarm systems, the reason because one of the days we got the call saying that we have started up the alarm in the building when there was hardly any smoke in the room, after 45 minutes of […] sitting in the alarm, we got another phone call from the operator about how is everything in the room and I said there is no smoke but the alarm is still on, hearing this the guy laughed and 10 secs later the alarm stopped so we are sure that there was something wrong elsewhere and they had to fix something for the alarm to stop. on other days the alarm started as early as 6:30 in the morning and went on for a while. We have stayed in several other hotels with full kitchen but havent seen this issue before. this place has faulty alarm systems for sure Lesa meira
