Room was studio which should have been torn down and rebuilt. Our traveling companions key UNLOCKED OUR ROOM. Light shined in front door all night and could not be shut off or blocked off. Patio and windows dirty. Coffee pot had wrong instructions and cord would not reach outlet unless placed on floor. No safe or tissue in room. Patio doors could not […] be opened easily because bed was in the way. Promised ground floor when checking in but room on second floor. Manager was to call us to discuss but never did and there was no manager on duty until supposedly 10:00 AM. Overall impression significantly impacted by hard sell of presentation of leisure property , just after check in . A $ 15 fee per night was added to the bill at check out. Resort fee ! For what ? Amenities provided ! Very bad business practice , fees shall be declared up front .

Great expereince for the price. The room and amenities far exceeded my expectations for the price. We arrived early to meet up with family who was already there and they checked us right in and got us close to where my family was staying. Great location next to many shops and places to eat. The only drawbacks were the main pool was closed for renovation, […] however the smaller family pool was available. The bathtub had some stains from non-stick pads that had been removed. We stayed at the Los Abrigados for 2 nights. They didn't clean the rooms, change the towels or replenish the toilet paper until we called to ask for it. When we called to ask for it, they asked us specifically what we wanted done and indicated that they could make the beds but couldn't change the sheets. Also, booked this hotel instead of a less expensive […] hotel right in the village area because it's a "resort" - but the pool was closed, so, for us, there was really no benefit to being in a resort and the resort fee was a waste. When I booked this hotel I thought it would be so so because some of the reviews were a little negative. From the point of arrival we were very impressed! The room was awesome. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept, and the staff was very welcoming. The concierge was helpful and provided maps and tips that we found very useful during our stay. The room was clean & comfortable, with a balcony and nice view, and we were surprised to find a well-stocked kitchen and full-size fridge in our suite. We loved our time in Sedona. It was the first time for both of us and the hotel was lovely. The room was so nice and we had gorgeous views of the monoliths from our balcony. We cannot wait to come back again!

When we got there we were informed the pool was closed. The hotel is very old and under renovations. Very tired resort. Front desk was indifferent. We had a problem with the showe door which we couldn't close. They said after we checked out that they would have it looked at. No apology .

I was not happy with the late check in (4:00 pm) and early check out (10:00am! I was also looking forward to some time at the pool, which would have been limited anyway, but the pool was not open due to renovation. Should have been disclosed! The restaurant on-site was not busy and after eating there I could see why. It was ok, but not what you'd expect […] for the price and this location! Oh, another 'no' wireless in my room. Beautiful hotel/resort with great amenitities. The continental breakfast was kind of weak, and the main pool/spa were closed which was disappointing. The service was great though and the staff super friendly and accommodating. When the pool area is available this resort will be nothing but great. Try it out.

Great location. Beautiful grounds. Room needs upgrades. Room felt old and stale. From their website we did not realized that the beds and towels are not serviced everyday. The front desk is too pushy with the sales pitch to attend a timeshare.

The location is walking distance from downtown...there are shops & galleries near the hotel. This is more condo/timeshares than a hotel. Kind of nice if you are staying a few days and want a little more space than a hotel room. Refrigerator, small stove, micro are nice to have. The room is quite dated...but clean. My husband and I were so excited to get to the lush mountain paradise pictured in the promotional photos. The first thing we encountered was a solicitation at check-in. Got our keys from reception and were directed to a 'welcome desk' where two sullen ladies gave us a speil about getting a free stay in the future if we spent the afternoon in a sales […] presentation about their resort group. T-a-c-k-y. Got to our room and it was cold and cavernous. With the way the 'suite' is set up, the only window in the room is in the corner of the kitchen. There is no view or natural light in the actual living space, which is an eyesore in and of itself. Dark and gloomy. The bedroom was no better than a motel, with old furnishings, and one window on the outdoor walkway that had to be curtained. The grounds were torn up for renovations to the pool and hot tub, so we ended up using none of the services, but were charged a daily 'resort fee' regardless. We would have been much happier spending less on a motel room with a WINDOW. Or spending the same on a resort with actual resort amenities. We both travel very often and are happy in all sorts of low-brow and high-brow establishments, but this was a run-down, over-priced disappointment. Lesa meira

We LOVED our stay! The resort is fabulous throughout; the staff is excellent; the location is perfect; and much detail is paid to the landscaping, cleanliness and appeal of this resort. We would love to return to this part of Arizona, as Sedona is our favorite place we traveled!

This is a very lovely spa. The grounds are immaculate. As anticipated there was some renovation occuring, the big pool was closed. However upon check in we were told that due to our stay being short, 3 days, there would be no maid service. I have never heard of such a thing. Also, they were fairly intent on talking to us about Time Shares, which I have […] absolutely no interest in whatsoever. This was easily avoided. Lastly there is no wireless in the rooms. For internet access one had to go to the lobby. THere are multiple options for very good food and the Brewery just outside the parking lot was awesome. Lastly, the location is fantastic. Over all I was satisfied with the hotel. It was a bit pricey considering that all the furniture; to include the bedroom set, needs a drastic update! The bed was also a bit "used", as in not comfortable. As for location, you can't beat it and it was quite convenient with having the kitchenette available.

Our stay was very nice and we were comfortable. The staff was very responsive to our needs. I didnt have a working coffee pot one morning, they came and fixed the breaker. We needed trash removed, they came and took care of that immediately. We needed more coffee, that was handled right away as well. The only thing i did not like was the lack of internet […] access to my room. That is something you all need to make happen. One other thing: due to the wedding of my daughter, i was unaware that we would be on the second floor - we carted so much stuff up there - it was exhausting - should have asked us if we wanted a ground floor. Very professional service. When toilet got plugged up, maintenance was there in minutes. Room and grounds very clean. The concierge tries to sign you up for an appointment to listen to a time-share promo; however, she didn't push it once we told her we were not interested.

The hotel itself is a beautiful and comfortable place. Our room was wonderful and quiet. Service was generally good, although when I inquired about housekeeping for our room, I received a very snide, sarcastic response that soured my attitude towards this place. This is a beautiful property located just south of the downtown area right on the main access road. The employees were very helpful and directed us towards certain things to do and eat. Could not have asked for more.Only negative was the wifi in the lobby did not work and they are remodeling the pool area.

Perhaps because we booked through the Internet we didn't get a nice room. We had to walk up old unstable circular metal stairs to a small room. Our suitcases were left in the car cause they wouldn't fit up the stairs. The flat screen tv was on a side wall so it was uncomfortable watching. No area information in the room. The grounds of the resort were lovely. It was great just to wander around the resort, go to the little shops and restaurants nearby and swim in the pool.We were disappointed in our room as we thought that we were getting a regular/standard room. My husban and I went for a weekend getaway. The Resort was in a great loaction. right in the middle of Sedona. Shopping and food was a short walk away. Service was great we prechecked in at one but didnt get our room until 5 pm. The resort was clean but does need updating which the hotel staff did mention that they were doing. The most important thing to me is a clean and cozy bed... This place definitely had that! Staff was very accommodating. The appliances and furniture are old, so if you're looking for modern, go somewhere else. We had a pleasant stay and will most likely be back in the future...

Booked thru Expedia - room was probably the smallest of the entire resort. The coffee maker was on top of the microwave, which was ontop of the bar fridge. Had to move it tho' to plug it in. Did not know there was no daily (or even every other day) housekeeping services. There is a resort fee charged for things like the fitness room and spa which we […] never used. I would rather pay to use, than get charged regardless of usage. The room was part of a duplex, and when the other side showered or flushed the toilet, it was very noisy in our room. Los Abrigados gave me a lovely room that was spacious. My only complaint. Is check in was really slooowwww. They had two people at the front desk, and they did not seem concerned that it was taking awhile? Spa has great massages and other services.

we were asked to listen in on a timeshare presentation. $100.00 giftcardwas our inventive. we were told 1 1/2 hous themost. itwas over 2 hours. ...wouldn'tyou love to have a 3-4. room place, 5 star hotel? sure we wood. but not by paying fot a timeshare for $30 _40 grand. then another $16,000 a year. we go on vacations 2 x a year. we want a good bed […] & bath. why pay all that $$$ when its less to get your hotel. And,...while there we never once in 3 dayshad our room cleaned, trash taken out, or bed made. another fee of $15.00 a day was added for the facility's pool, workout room... we went hicking in the Sedonas. pool was under construction. If you know diamond resorts, don't stay here. There are 4 other places owned by them in the area that are much nicer. This place is old, although they say it is updated, you can tell that under the surface it is rough. We have never found the customer service to be good, even with their "YES" motto. This hotel is also a timeshare resort, so the rooms are more like condos. And it is located adjacent to Tlaquepaque -- a complex of shops, galleries, and good restaurants -- very convenient. In the winter, it appears thatthe hotel doewsn't keep all the outdoor spa equipment running, but the indoor spa was open, along with a heated pool. My boyfriend and I went on a little getaway trip here and I was absolutely blow away. We had out own king cottage to ourselves in a room with a fridge flat screen tv fireplace and a jacuzzi just steps away. It was the cutest place I've ever been to. When we were arriving the nicest guy greeted me and showed me our rooms and got our keys. Telaquepaque […] is the most beautiful little place to shop and hang out.
