The hotel was fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The room was clean and the bed was most comfortable for a good nights rest.
"Travellodge Bristol - near Regional Medical Center"
Hotel is typical TravelLodge and right off the freeway ramp for a quick nights sleep. It is across the highway from the Regional Medical Center but there is nothing else in the area. You have to travel about 5 miles up the freeway to get to the main resturant area. To check in at TravelLodge you have to go to the Super 8 check in desk.

The hotel looked run down. There were 2 offices marked for Motel 8 and for Travel lodge but no signs posted as such and had to go to the other end of the hotel to sign in and get keys. Alos was advertized as being only 5 miles from the race track which was not true.
"not so good"
The desk clerk was very nice and informative about places to eat. No complaint about him. When I turned the shower on, water sprayed all over the bathroom from over the shower curtain. There was a puddle in the floor in 30 seconds. Also, a used washcloth was left hanging in the shower. Will not stay there again.
"The Super 8 Travel Lodge"
The Telephone in my room would not call the desk, and would not allow outside calls of any kind. Had I been in an emergency I would not have been able to call 911. I had to go to the lobby desk to make a call to my wife with the hotel manager's cell phone. The coffee maker in my room did not have a cover over where the water is poured in. I looked inside […] and there was dust and a dead fly in the water reservoir. Not all of the lamps worked, I had to repair the desk lamp to get light at the desk. The TV listing guide only had about 3 or 4 of the channels right. I woke up one morning to find the bathroom floor covered with water. It may have come from an adjacent room. The Hotel Staff were very courteous, but I never did get an offer to move to another room. Lesa meira

"Travelodge in Bristol, Tenneseee"
Bed was impossible to sleep in, and so we ended up sleeping in the floor the first night. On the next day, we were changed to another room. The bed was a bit nicer, but the carpet was dirty beyond belief, and there were ants in the room. I would never stay here again. I cannot believe we were charged to stay in such a filthy and uncomfortable room the […] first night that we stayed here. I am surprised that the health department doesn't close this place down. "Shabby but Convenient"
This hotel was run down but clean. We stayed there one night on while traveling.I would try someplace else the next time.
Hotel was old, but clean. Bed was hard with springs sticking me in the back in some places. Staff was friendly and helpful. You could hear traffic from 81 fairly loud.

Clean, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere. Scimpy breakfast. Difficult to get to from highway. Recommend it.

Newly renovated Travel Lodge is neat, nice and clean. I enjoyed my stay there, definetly worth staying again. Nice place!
