"Great stay"
I was very pleased with this hotel. Room was nice and clean, good amenities. But what really stood out was the service and what was included. Great free happy hour, friendly breakfast included, free laundry, even DVDs were available for free rent. Definitely recommended!
"Much nicer than the area"
Good rate, serve to order breakfast that rivaled eating at a Denny's or iHOP, and we were upgraded to a suite because we got into town late. Full list of DVD's, with big flat screens in the room. Really good deal considering the surrounding town would've made me think it would have been a lower level hotel.

"For a Motel, it's very good"
It's a motel, so it's still a motel, but the bed was comfortable, which is more than I can say about our beds in Italy, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast that comes with the room was very nice, and cooked to order if you want. Internet access with a computer and printer was free, which is more than you get at the Aria in Vegas.
"Lompoc is a great town"
My husband and I were dying for a little get away. We always liked visiting Solvang and when I was trying to book a room somewhere, ANYWHERE, it was either way too expensive or no vacancy. I came across this hidden gem and though the hotel doesnt seem much from the outside; ie pretty landscaping or color pallete, the rooms were comfortable, modern, […] and it even had a real refridgerator!! We were impressed with the breakfast menu. Not your average danish and coffee, but ACTUAL breakfast. And the distance to Solvang was only 20 mins with a straight and easy drive. My husband and I would definately stay here again. Hands down. Lesa meira
"everything you need"
Great hotel respectful workers, free unlimited movie rental, hot breakfast made to order as well as breakfast bar.
Last minute reservation. Stayed 1 night. Very happy with all the amenities. Lg flat screen, refrigerator, etc. Would stay again when in the area.
"Better than expected"
This Best Western Plus O'Cairns was excellent. The room was well-appointed, the area was quiet, the breakfast was wholesome and delicious, and the bed and the recliner were VERY comfortable. The price was was quite reasonable for the value. We would come back again!!!
"Affordable and close to the Wine Ghetto"
This was a perfect hotel for anyone interested in taking a trip to the Wine Ghetto. The hotel has recently been remodeled and had complimentary happy hour and free breakfast (made to order). The only complaint I have is that they do not have WiFi. Other than that, an easy and comfortable place to stay!

"Children and pet friendly.....NOT"
We had problems with the management talking about our 2 year olds leaking diaper, and they were none to happy about our little 5 lb dog. The resturant staff, and pool is about the nicest thing I can say about the hotel. The management was attrocious and rude...I do not recommend anyone stay there with children or pets

"Very, Very Nice & Very Reasonable"
We were pleasantly surprised as to the quality of our room with the furnishings and cleanliness!! The complimentary, made to order breakfast was outstanding. We will definitely (when in the area) stay again!! Thank you for such quality!!
The complimentary items of ice cream, water, fresh fruit, and coffee all add to the value of the stay. The staff were very professional and pleasant.
"Amazing"
The room was great - especially the bed! Had a great nights sleep. Everyone on the staff was very helpful and pleasant. To top it all off, the happy hour, dinner and breakfast were amazing. You hit a home run with us!

"Best Western O'Cairns in Lompoc, GM is RUDE"
The front desk gentleman was friendly, and apologized for having to give me a room over the kitchen, no problem that was the best of my stay. All employees I met were friendly with one exception, the GM Upon entering the room I always do inspections, it was my career for years. An ice cream wrapper was left on the floor by the refrigerator and a pack […] of cigarettes under the bed. At 8am on the 16th I was called by the GM and told I had 2 minutes to get off his property and that the hotel was surrounded by police,( he lied on that part.) because my son was with me who had previously worked there. The man had me scared to death. "I" had to leave as well. I will never recommend this hotel as long as this man is GM. He has had many many complaints, he and his wife work together, he receives the complaint calls and it goes no further. I've done some research. He had me upset crying for two days, I had never been treated that way. He could have gone about it in a gentler manner. I paid for a room I didn't even get a chance to shower in. Room 254 is not up to best western "Plus" not a 4 star room, needs more work. Having worked for 5 Star hotels for 20 years I know my business, how a room should appear and how a general manager should conduct himself. plainly I'm upset and I don't get this way often. "Great Hotel!"
I had read the reviews before booking this hotel which were really good. However I was really impressed with the customer service of this place. Free DVD movies to chose from, great coffee, 52 inch plasma in the room, free breakfast (which was very goood) and complimentary happy hour?! And at such a great price on hotels.com. Wow, my husband and I loved […] this hotel. We also got to meet some great people during happy hour. The location of the hotel is on the main highway from Lompoc to Solvang and easy to get to from the 101. In this day and age customer service has somehow gotten forgotten at a lot of places. Great job Best Western, we would definitely stay again! Lesa meira
"Best Western O'Cairns, Lompoc CA"
Unexpectedly impressive hotel on the main street of Lompoc. Nice room with huge flat-panel TV, full breakfast, happy hour cocktails, pool, spa, DVD player. Very quiet. Close to many wineries, especially the so-called 'wine ghetto' which is about a mile away.
"Lots of extras"
The location of the hotel was convenient for us - near wine country and Santa Barbara. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very well equipped with very large screen TV and full-size refrigerator, as well as many electronics. There was a strong food or rug smell that lessened some by opening the window.
