Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

Hótelið er í góðu umhverfi og starfsfólk mjög vinalegt. Rétt handan við hornið eru sporvagnarnir bæði gömlu sem fara upp brekkurnar og í gegnum ítalska og kínahverfið og endar á Market þar sem allar verslanirnar eru. Nýju sporvagnarnir þeir fara meðfram bryggjunum og sjávarsíðunni og hægt er að taka þá eða labba að bryggju 35 að mig minnir þar sem ferjan til Alcatrez er. Eina sem hefði fullkomnað þessa hóteldvöl var ef það hefði verið þráðlaust net upp í herberginu. En það er eingöngu í andyrinu. Mun klárlega gista aftur á þessu hóteli í framtíðinni þegar farið verður aftur til San Francisco

Við vorum að leita að hóteli miðsvæðis í San Francisco og sem væri á hagstæðu verði, hreinlegt. Hótel Diva uppfyllti þessar kröfur auk þess að vera með mjög góða og persónulega þjónustu.

SFO is conveniently located 12 miles south of San Francisco. BART, or the Bay Area Rapid Transit, links San Francisco International Airport with The City (as San Francisco is commonly known among locals). The airport is conveniently located to businesses in the north and residential and business communities to the south. Some of the leading biotech and Silicon Valley companies are within minutes of the airport.

Hotel is well maintained and very clean. A/C worked well and was quiet. The hotel/amenities were simple (what you should expect for the money) but in excellent condition and very clean. Staff was very pleasant. I would stay again.
Clean and conveniently located near food and shopping, quiet and close to public transit if necessary...breakfast is adequate and timely. Free WiFi useful.
"First trip to California"
I was overall very pleased with the accommodations. There was a cobweb in one corner, but other than that the room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was very pleasant. Access to shopping and public transportation were right across the street.

The room was nice for the price, but the woman at the check -in desk was very unfriendly and rude.

"Great location, but room can be improved"
The bathroom is very cold - I think draft comes in through the ceiling light. Gets even colder when the exhaust fan is running. Also room lighting is a bit dim. But because of the excellent location, I would stay there again.

Pro's: Very clean, Pool was nice, Close to downtown so you can walk to a show dinner drinks! Maids were very nice. Con's : Advertising with smoking rooms but they did not have any. Beds are a little squeaky but was fine for me, my friend had a sore back.

There are no frills at this hotel and the person at the front desk wasn't welcoming but, the room was very clean and the bed was comfy
"3rd stay in last 4 months - Exactly what I wanted"
Location - Across the Caltrain, perfect if you need to go to downtown SF for work. Lots of restaurants, drug stores, grocery stores. Be careful with the Redwood Shores police, they are overly Zealous and have no idea their actions can impact the patronage of visitors.

"Second time staying - and it was good again!"
The location, right across the Redwood City Caltrain station, is perfect for those commuting to downtown SF. Plus, there is a shopping mall with everything you might need (even a 24 hrs CVS) right across the hotel. It is a quiet area. The hotel is dated, but they have made a good effort in keeping it clean and appealing. Rooms are simple, but that […] is all I need after a hard day of work. Breakfast needs some "ump!", but there are plenty of places around for options. Free parking, and quite safe for my taste. Beware? Yes, I have to say that in my last 2 stays I notice that the walls are rather thin, so I can listen to the "activities" of my neighbors. But again, I was so tired after working all day, that the "ooohs" and "aaaahs" just faded away after a while. Lesa meira
"Great Location - Needs some HGTV love!"
The best part of staying here is how close it is to the Redwood City Caltrain Station. I take the train to work (Downtown SF) and this train stop has regular and "baby bullet" stops. Across from the hotel there is a very nice shopping mall with restaurants, shopping, grocery store and a CVS. Nice local taco places around too. The hotel has free parking, […] it's clean and acceptable for short and long stays (I've done both). It does needs some renovation...rooms and building looks dated. breakfast is extremely simple and free....better choices for breakfast are close by. Once I found ants on my bath...they took care of them and never saw them again. If the people staying above your room are having a good time, you will notice. "America's Best Inn - Definitely worth the price"
After looking online for a cheaper hotel and reading some scary reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with this little gem. The hotel is in good condition, room was very clean, comfortable bed, decent pillows and towels, and quiet. The hotels is across the street from Wholefoods, Safeway, and other places for food, plus very close to a public bus station […] and Caltrain, making transport to/from airport easy. I would say for the business traveller this place is a no-brainer. For the tourist, you might want more hotel amenities, but you can't do better for the price Lesa meira

"Worked for us"
Everything clean and in good order. Night window staff friendly, even though we arrived around Midnight. This is a property that shows some care and attention to the basics. I'd use it again.

"Clean, family-owned place"
I travel to Redwood City for business once a week and I always stay at America's Best. It's inexpensive, clean and has nice amenities, including free wifi, free breakfast, cable+DVD player, microwave and fridge in every room. You can't beat it for the price.

It was OK. That is about it. Not a bad price if you only plan on staying a short while. Could have done without maintenance workers being pervs.

I really enjoyed my stay at the America's Best Inn in Redwood City, CA. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were very responsive. "Good except for breakfast"
Everything was fine, but the breakfast was the worst- only sweet kid's cereal, white bread and sweet pastries. Nothing for diabetics at all. Need some healthy options.

It was a decent place for the price and location. It's not a 4 star place, but if you're looking for a cheap, clean, safe place to sleep, this place does the job. "America's Best Inn very comfortable and clean"
I stayed one night at the America's Best Inn in Redwood City because I had pre-op appointments in Redwood City and then at Stanford Medical Center. My stay was very comfortable and clean and my room was so quiet and peaceful that I wanted to stay longer. The hotel is located next to Whole Foods and there's a nice shopping center across the street. The […] staff was friendly and helpful but did not hover. "Great place"
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The only negative thing we have to report is that the maid did not observe the Do Not Disturb sign 2 days in a row. The first day, she didn't even knock; just opened our door. The next day she kept knocking until we answered it and pointed to the Do Not Disturb sign on our doorknob. She apologized, but geesh!

The room was very cold and the it took the heater half of the night to warm the room up. The room was small and the bed was hard but all in all it was okay for the price.
"America's Worst Inn, not America's Best!"
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are not clean- -my colleague found a dirty boot print on her pillow. More importantly they are one of the cheapest, most poorly run establishments around. We experienced a loss of power one evening and they refused to reimburse me for the stay that night after assuring me that they would because, […] " We had power from the time you arrived at 9:10 PM until the power went out at 9:30." The only reason that I didn't check out on the same evening was because we were told that it was a "temporary" outage caused by a storm. Needless to say we checked out immediately the next morning and were assured that we would get our money back. However, when Hotels.com tried to get a refund for me the manager denied saying that they would reimburse me because of the 20 minutes of power I had in my room. I am extremely disappointed because the hotel is the most convenient in the area for my business. It is also the most reasonable. However, I am willing to pay more and have to travel further to stay at a truly reputable hotel that values customer service!! Lesa meira

The room is what one would expect for the price. The room could use a more comfortable chair for the desk and/or watching TV. There is a Safeway and Whole Foods close by for those who want to save money by not eating at a restaurant every night. The breakfast consisted of sweet rolls and cereal.

"Bad Attitude"
Right off we experienced an attitude from the clerk. I had a couple questions and they were very short with their answer. I told them that someone had been smoking in the room and they said, "but that is a non- smoking room" as if that would negate my smelling smoke. It turns out that the woman in an adjacent (non-smoking) room was sitting in her doorway […] smoking and the smoke was actually getting into my room through a large gap in the doorway. They did come spray something (febreeze?) but not until the next day. The woman continued her smoking the whole three days she was there. The breakfast is a joke and they call it a deluxe breakfast. I don't think they could have watered down the OJ any more and still call it OJ. Over all, we were very dissatisfied with our experience there. Lesa meira

Il y a plus de 5 ans que nous descendons dans ce motel. Lors de ce dernier séjour de plus d'une semaine en deux parties, nous avons du malheureusement constater une baisse sensible de la qualité_ * L'accueil y est peu plaisant! * La propreté de la chambre (frigo, chambre de bains) était insatisfaisante * Le réveil ne fonctionnait pas.
