After a long flight to Northampton, I was met by a and an untidy room. I had to switch to a clean room downstairs but the issue was resolved very quickly. Wi-fi quality is terrible, albeit non-existent. Good news: breakfast is good! The daytime receptionist was very kind, nighttime not so much, but both were helpful. Convenient to Main Street Northampton - walking distance to restaurants. Internet did not work in rooms. Noisy due to people partying in the weekend. Would not stay here again.

Perfect for what we needed. Clean room, comfortable beds. Didn't need it this time but good to know there was a fridge and microwave in the room. Would definitely stay again. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

we were only in Northampton for an overnight, and the Quality Inn provided perfectly adequate accommodations at a reasonable price.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was super, especially the belgium waffles. We enjoyed our stay and will return. I recommend to anyone who needs to stay in the Northampton Mass area. We even got to watch the bulldozer and dump truck remove the snow piles from the parking lot.

While the hotel itself is old, it was very clean. The women at the desk were very friendly and helpful. My daughter and I thought the breakfast was very good and it's offered in a cosy room with a fire, most welcome on a cold day. I would definitely stay there again.

I had an excellent experience at the Quality Inn. It was clean, quiet, and the breakfast was amazing! I would definitely stay here again and/or recommend it to a friend.

We hardly had time to appreciate the efficiency or the charm of this getaway lodge. It was centrally located and we had lots to see and appreciate in the vicinity, so our stay was brief in actual time spent on the premises. Given the cost of the hotel, the hotel should not be so dingy. The room was clean and sheets comfortable but had a funny smell which I put down to using the cheapest of the cheap cleaning supplies. I decided to stay here because I was visiting my daughter at Smith and although no frills, it would be cheap and clean. We went to a concert and got back late--hadn't looked at the room ahead of time. When we went to open our room my daughter put the card in and the door just pushed open. Turned out it didn't lock other than from the inside. The room […] smelled really bad--like cigarettes (it was non-smoking) and cleaning products. She wanted me to go get another room but it was late and I was tired and didn't want to go through the hassle. As I was getting ready for bed, I noticed what I thought was a sock on the floor. Turned out to be a used pair of men's underwear! I'm not kidding. I didn't sleep all night because I had visions of bugs in my bed. The next day I went and complained and they promptly gave me a new room for the next night--which new room was fine, but wouldn't you think they should have done more? Like give me the one night for free or something? Nope. I will never, ever, ever stay there again. Lesa meira

Excellent value for money. Also, we llked the fact that breakfast was provided, and, best of all for our purposes, was within walking distance of downtown Northampton.

Thin walls, lots of noise. Hard to sleep. Room was not ready when we checked in at 3pm. Musty horsey smell in the room !!! very disappointed!!!

The location is perfect for anyone visiting Northampton who wants a comfortable bed and a clean room without a lot of unnecessary extras.

We were greeted in a most friendly and helpful manner. Our rooms were as advertised . The breakfast was nicely presented and had quite a nice variety of foods. All in all a very good experience we would definitely stay there again.

Hotel very outdated, Room smelled like it wasn't cleaned since the 60's. Old bed spreads from the 70's. Mold in bathrom shower. They should be embrassed to run a so called hotel like this. Breakfast was a joke, at 7:00 most of the hot food was gone, the breakfast is a joke! Don't stay here it is disgusting!

Used as a base of operations for moving my daughter cross country and into UMass Amherst. V. Nice staff, breakfast adequate. Obviously an older facility, updated somewhat. Room had a slightly musty smell. Comfortable bed. Much cheaper than hotels serving UMass in Amherst, but only about a 15 minute drive from that campus. The room smelled musty and the bathrooms was COVERED in black mold. I am glad we only had to stay there one night. I will not return until that hotel has been thoroughly cleaned and all mold is removed. However, I will say that the front desk attendant was quite nice during check in.

Arrived late Friday evening After a lonng day.We were greeted warmly &effortlessly checked in. After a restful nights sleep & a warm & tasty breakfast ,I enjoyed the pool for a swim. Then we took a ride to the tower on Mt. Tom &enjoyed the view.

The motel section of this hotel is old, dreary and reeks like stale cigarette smoke. The "spa pool" indicated on the description and in the photo no longer exists. According to the front desk clerk, "it was filled in two years ago." Another guest we met at the pool was also disappointed to find that the spa pool no longer existed. We had to walk across […] the parking lot to the pool. With small children, this was inconvenient, especially in mid-February. I would not recommend this hotel. Lesa meira

The adage of getting what you can or are willing to pay for is valid here. It's a good location as it's walkable to the center of town and great dining. Super friendly front desk staff who seem genuinely happy to welcome you to the property. Bed was big and comfie. I'm normally a 4-5 star hotel guest so I'm used to a different standard of attention […] to detail and extras but everything here was perfectly adequate. We basically just needed a conveniently located and inexpensive place to sleep and shower for one night. Good bedding, nice warm pool, friendly staff, adequate breakfast - just the thing for a quick trip to Northhampton. A bit far from the center of town if on foot - but easy distance with a car, and great price.

We could have spent twice as much for a location in the middle of Northampton, but we didn't want to. This location was fine....walking distance from Northampton. We used the pool and had it all to ourselves. The breakfast was fine. No complaints.

When checking out after one night I asked to see the manager about the cleanlyness of the bathroom. Call back tomorrow the young girl told me as the manager was not there on a Sunday. Over the last month i have 8 calls in to the manager, leaving my phone number. No response at all. The bathroom had black mold in the shower and hair stuck to the door. […] Shower curtain had mold stains where it was washed. Stains on front room curtains. We were going to a wedding and needed a place to sleep for one nights. It was an a setting that was pretty grim...overlooking a parking lot and bowling alley. The area was isolated but we drove through the town of Northamptom and it was fine.
