Only problem is the car parking. Only 10 spots for the hotel guests; There are alternative possibilities somewhere nearby. Rooms are wonderful and bright and funky.

Had a great stay!!!...Great location to MCG and close to free public tram service around city... Great view from room looking out over beautiful gardens...Would have been good if hotel had swimming pool area for kids...

Whilst the hotel room was fresh, the bathroom is a bit disappointing in that the shower section is very narrow and water spills outside of the shower door. There is also no hooks for hanging clothes.

Good value for money hotel, close to everything. As stated by others, bathrooms tiny and difficult to negotiate having a shower without getting everything else wet, but all in all a good experience. Had breakfast at buffet one morning and while food tasted great, it was almost stone cold.

Cleanest place we've ever stayed. Had a queen twin room for 4 adults beds very comfy, found only 1 spare pillow & 1 blanket. Only 2 coffee cups & very limited supplies, which were not topped up next day. One flannel & hand towel between four people isn't good, when flying with weight limits one doesn't need to worry about packing these items, one expects […] them to be provided ! All up with asking for extras I think reception was contacted 5 times. I think when you are paying $100 per person per night they might consider the provisions per head. Bathroom very small & thought the glass frosted door was invasive. However.... This place was so clean and the staff were extremely friendly & helpful with taxis etc. Lesa meira

The room was clean and bathroom recently renovated but bed was a bit hard. The entry to the hotel did not have a ramp which was awkward with a trolley bag.

The hotel, is great for those just looking for a place to crash for a few nights whilst out and about. You're paying for a very decent room, the bed is comfy and hotel and rooms itself are well kept, bathrooms was small in the room I stayed at, but again, if you're just looking for a place to crash and you don't care too much for the asthetics, it's […] perfect. Excellent shower, bathroom renovation. Room size, European feel, just a bit 'close', but no other complaint possible .... very nice with a king size bed and view of the gardens and beyond into the Eastern suburbs and towards the bay.

Overall a good location, within walking distance to the tennis (which is why i was in Melbourne). Helpful staff. Bathroom was a little small but overall a good place to stay

The hotel has recently been renovated and is really nice. The staff are fantastic, helpful and friendly. The hotel is located really close to a tram stop which makes it easy to get around too.

This hotel is in a good, quiet location with easy access to trams and trains. It is also just a short walk into the CBD. The rooms are basic but large and mine was very clean. Front desk staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a very nice gym and a pool. Handy location to walk to Melbourne sights. Simple room but clean and comfortable for family of four. Bathroom could have been a little bigger but served it's purpose. Value for money.

Rooms were over priced for what they were and staff took too long to answer the phone for reception or room service. However all staff were pleasant and welcoming. Housekeeping were the most efficient and well managed department in my opinion.

I checked in after 10pm and was hoping to have some room service after getting in from the airport but was advised that only a limited menu was available...i ended up with a vegie sandwich. As i new i would be late checking in, i did book a place that i new had 24 hr room service, so this was a bit disappointing. I also booked a room that had a city […] view....not much of a city view but a view of the bins and alley way. Bed was very comfortable though and very clean and the staff were really nice also. It is also well located, near Flinders street and just a short walk into the heart of Melbourne. I probably would stay there again for the right price. Lesa meira

Basic, comfortable. Rooms a little on the small side but OK. Internet is expensive with one of those irritating slow down your speed after a certain amount of usage arrangements. Australia really needs to dtich these.

Really good service at both check in and check out. Room size was small, especially the bathroom, but the location well and truly made up for it. We only stayed for one night but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Park view was lovely as was the decor and the room service. loved the location of your hotel. Beds were comfy. Very clean. The only thing I could find was the bathroom was pretty small.

All was nice, but for one detail - noise in the 11th floor. You can hear the air conditioning fans from the top of the building. It is a cyclical noise of such low frequency that is a bit irritating after all. Apart from that all was great

theres no parking which means you have to park up the road in public parking which costs $30 per night so that was a huge disappointment especially when you get a rental car. There is nothing any website that tells you that either. The housekeeping staff were lovely and our room was immaculate everytime we came back to our room. One of the hotel staff, David, was great when my girlfriend spilled her cup of coffee on the bed. When we reported it it reception David came straight up and changed the linen for us with no fuss or bother. We really appreciated his positive response and he was very personable and friendly.

The staff were lovely, but the room was very dissapionting. It was very small and pokey for the amout of money we paid. Also, the walls must be very thin, we were woken very early by general clunking and taking. When housekeeping was doing the rounds, the bangs were very loud.

Quiet room with a fantastic view of the Treasury Gardens. Very close to the MCG and free tram transport around the city. Breakfast was great, as children eat free, with lots to chose from.

The bed was meant to be a king but was two king singles pushed together with an annoying crack in the middle.

Room bigger than expected. Tiny bathroom but was fine for what we use them for. Staff great. Our heater malfunctioned and someone was there within 5 min to fix it. Great service all round. Lime Bar/Cafe busy which is a good sign and breakfast was great. Bathroom too small, nowhere to hang towel or put any toiletries. Difficult to get in and out of shower. Single beds very small. Could hear room next door showering and flushing toilet. Whilst the decor was very nice the room wasn't very functional.

Had my iPad stolen from inside the room the last day of a two day stay! Seems like their camera didn't show anything? Do not stay there! Wouldn't even call police!
