Our hotel stay was great. Very clean. Matthew at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and personable. The breakfast they served was good and plentiful. The beds were comfortable. The only thing is that if you like pillows like myself (I usually sleep with 3-4) then I would suggest bringing your own. The pillows don't have much to them. The location […] of the hotel is right off the highway and only 5 minutes away from downtown. A cab ride will only cost you about $8-10 which is well worth it for a night out in the town. "OK for one night"
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The rooms were large and nicely furnished however the walls were not the least bit sound proof. We could hear the entire conversations in the next room and the TV. In the halls you could hear all the way to the elevator everything said in each room. "Excellent value for the price"
I spend roughly half the year in hotels for work, mostly Hilton chain stuff (Hampton Inns,etc.) I assumed this would be of similar quality to a Super 8 I had recently stayed in at a similar price. Dead wrong. Rooms very clean, bedding modern and comfortable, bathroom clean. TV's are older, but work just fine. Hallways are dimly lit and showing signs […] of wear, but clean. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Free breakfast is nothing to be excited about, but is better than nothing. I was very disappointed in my stay. The toilet clogged and the man at the front desk handed me a plunger!! There were no toiletries in the room (soap but no shampoo). The hotel is clean, the staff were very nice and it is right off the highway. The rooms are basic, but had a roomy,bright bathroom; an iron and board, and a small refrigerator and microwave. The beds were comfortable and clean. You can even use the pool and get a discount on food at the nearby Holiday Inn (same owners). There is a small gym and laundry […] available at the hotel, also. "Perfect for my needs!"
The only thing that was not quite perfect about the hotel room was that multiple portions of the wallpaper were peeling and the lighting was a little bit dim. Considering this was only $15 more expensive than a Motel 6, I wasn't expecting much-- but I got free wifi, continental breakfast, as well as a mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was even comfy! All of the staff were fantastic, however the night desk clerk Matthew was super charming and great with my kids. Tyrone was also wonderful and super helpful and went above and beyond to help out...it wasn't until I checked out that I realized he was the GM. I wish I had known ahead of time that although they don't have a pool of their own they offer […] swimming acrossed the road.
