Þetta er einfalt og lítið hótel.. frábært verð á gistingu og staðsetningin gæti ekki verið betri. Eina sem að ég get sett útá herbergin er að húsgögnin eru orðin soltið gömul.. en allt mjög snyrtilegt.

Mjög gott 4 stjörnu hótel. Frábært morgunveðarhlaðborð, flott hótel með nýlegum herbergjum. Starfsfólk mjög hjálpsamt og þægilegt. Í rólegu hverfi nálægt Evrópuþinginu. Smá spotti að labba í miðbæinn en ekkert sem strætó eða neðanjarðarlest reddar ekki.

"Van Belle - Brussels"
The Hotel is located on a main road between the Midi/Zuid train station and Grand Place. This is fairly convenient, but facilities and amenities immediately around the hotel are quite poor. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel was clean and decorative. The facilities in the rooms were minimal e.g. no tea/coffee making facilities. However […] they are perfectly adequate if you only want to sleep & shower. I would consider staying there again. Lesa meira
"Van Belle"
A decent hotel with a good location. The rooms are rather old but they'll do. Breakfast isn't that spectacular, but it'll do. As always in Belgium, be sure to bring ear plugs with you, since noises from the corridor or from outside can sometimes be loud.

Well, for the money I paid, the room was tiny and old. At least it was clean and the breakfast was good. Its just 10-15 mins walk to the centre. Overall, given that hotels in Brussels are expensive, I would stay again.

this is a good hotel for saving some money, but still having a clean, comfortable place to stay. You can walk into the downtown area easily. You can park your car (for 10 Euros) and there is a simple breakfast in the fee. This is not a romantic hotel or a romantic location but for our purposes it was great.

The internet was extra EUROS 5 which is ok, but the internet was slower than dial-up during the day (in the night it was decent, but just for visiting webpages). The area was scary although it is about 10 minutes walk from the center. "Good hotel - great price. Highly recommended."
This was the second time staying in this hotel. Location is a little separated than mentioned, but it was worth it. Don't let the reviews of a bad neighborhood scare you away, it's just a hodge-podge area, but no crime or uneasiness was felt by us both times i was there. Hotel was clean, spoke some English which was helpful because I didn't know French […] or Flemish. Very friendly staff - the first time I went they saved me from being arrested because I forgot my passport at the desk and they vouched for me to the French police. Only 10 mins to Grand Place, about 20 mins to Midi/Zuid, not 5 like mentioned. The walk is along some busy streets, but it's not a bad walk. They have a baggage storage in the lobby in case you want to check out but not leave the city, you can go back to the hotel and get your baggage there. It's behind locked doors, and this was before I knew about the train station lockers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, and my two stays there justify it. Lesa meira
"You only get what you pay for"
At these times of a recession we are all looking to save wherever we can either for ourselves or in my case for the company I work for. I stayed in this hotel since it seemed reasonable value for money and with the pound against the euro almost on a par then from a UK perspective, even this hotel was not that cheap. But that is exactly what this hotel […] was Cheap. I am not stuck up but the furnishings in the bedroom were grotty. The bathroom was acceptable in terms of being clean. With no airconditioning the window had to be opened which meant noise until about 1:00am. Then a quiet spell only for the laundry man to arrive and load his van. Breakfast was reasonable. With a major facelift this could be a "good" hotel but I won't be staying there in a hurry Lesa meira
"Good value - location not great for Souther Brussels"
On a night where Brussels hotels were ratcheting up prices for single rooms, Van Belle gave me a twin bed room - which turned out to be 4 beds in 2 rooms - at a substantially lower price. Service was friendly and accommodating at reception and bar. Only probs: TV seemed dead (but had other things to do) and couldnt get a taxi in morning - not hotel's […] voice, just Brussels. Since quite a way from nearest metro this made for exciting rush to get to EC area for 9am Lesa meira
"A quality hotel at a reasonable price"
A quality hotel located in a convenient but rather undesirable area of Brussels. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. My TV remote control did not work but this was replaced very quickly. The buffet breakfast offered a wide choice and was availabe before the official 07:00 start time, which was usual as I had to leave very early […] on my last morning. The hotel is located in a rough and run down area. The room was stuffy, smelt of stale smoke and the furniture and decor very tired.
"Terrible neighborhood"
The hotel was located in a very bad area. It was not even on one of the tourist map that we used. Completely outside of the central area. Our window faced a boarded up, abandoned house, with street noise all through the night and morning. For the rate that we were charged, we could have stayed somewhere significantly better. However, The front desk […] was very nice. The room itself was alright, but had stains on the carpet and the walls. We could hear our neighboors. And the sheets defenetely seem unclean. L'impression globale est bonne, mais le mobilier et la pièce d'accueil sont très défraichis et "vieillos". L'emplacement est idéal, malheureusement le quartier est très sale (nombreuses poubelles dans les rues) et pas beau.
Très bon rapport qualité prix, accueil agréable, service navette vraiment appréciable.

"Muy buen servicio"
Nos atendieron muy bien, tanto en la recepción como en el desayuno que de hecho nos sirvieron gratis (no estaba previsto). Nos pusieron una cama de bebé sin ningún problema. De verdad una gente muy competente y super amable.

Dit was echt een vreselijk hotel! Gehele hotel was vies en stonk naar schimmel. Kamer mocht blijkbaar worden grookt en was als een asbak, Schimmel stond op de muren. Zeer gehorige kamers. Vies dekbed op het bed. Vreselijk ontbijt. Heel erg onveilige buurt. NOOIT BOEKEN! Geef liever €20,- meer uit en ga naar een ander hotel.

Perfekt hotell om man som vi var några kompisar som var i Bryssel för en kul helg. Skulle inte vilja betala mer för högre standard i det läget. Helt OK frukost. 10 minuters promenad in till centrum.

Litt slitent hotel i gang avstand (15 min) til sentrum. Hyggelig betjening. Enkel frokost. Fargerikt nabolag.

Hotellet ligger io et strøk som kan minne om grensen mellom brussels ghetto og litt finere strøk. Den ene veien nedover hovedgata fører til et mindre bra strøk med dårligere standard og der nesten ingen kan engelsk. Går man innover mot sentrum derimot er det veldig mye finere, man må riktignok ordentlig inn til gamlebyen og sentrum før folk kan engelsk. Generelt […] er jeg ikke så fornøyd med rommet der man kun har en seng og et bad. Jeg syns også det var alt for dyrt i forhold til hva hva vi fikk. Lesa meira

Hyggelig atmosfære. Hjelsom og hyggelig betjening. Uformelt - lett å komme i kontakt med andre mennesker på hotellet.

Je recommande pour ceux qui ont un petit budget car c'est un Hotel bon rapport qualité prix en profitant des tarifs par hotel.com. Et puis nous n'étions dans la chambre juste pour dormir. Mais déception tout de même à l'arrivée car la chambre est rikiki et ne correspond en rien avec celles vues sur les photos, tout comme la sdb d'ailleurs. Le personnel […] est l'arrivée n'est pas acceuillant, pas de sourire, pas de "bienvenue'... Il faut payer pour le parking même lorsque vous êtes clients. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment très bof (même pas de croissants). Pour l'environnement, ce n'est pas l'extase non plus mais par contre nous n'avons jamais pris la voiture..le centre est à 10-15mn à pied si vous aimez marcher et sinon l'hôtel propose une navette gratuite pour s'y rendre (enfin un +). "Die schlechtesten 3 Stern Hotel in der Welt"
Although this Hotel is 3 Stern, none of the facilities or the service matched that. Reception personnel has no idea what they are doing, they have no information about the city. Rooms are horrible and not comfortable at all. There is literally nothing in the room. Only beds and a broken tv. Toilet door is not an actual door and there are huge windows […] which can not be closed in the bathroom so good luck changing or taking shower!!! I am a hotelier and I know somethings about Hotel Standards and this is definitely not a 3 star hotel! Lesa meira
