"bring your own towels"
room was good size, had a refrigerator, no microwave. Only 2 towels in the room, which were 2 different sizes. No washcloths, no hand towels. Beds were ok, nothing great. Tub wasn't too clean. Mold on shower curtains. I won't be going back.

It was very late so we were glad to have lodging. The room's curtains should be darker since so much light entered the room. Also no curtain in bathroom, so very bright...lumpy bed and no fitted sheets, ugh!

The look of this hotel had a comforting invite to it. It was very clean and presentable. The employee's were very generous and kind. Our room looked very warm and cozy and inviting. The scenery was beautiful. Overall it was a pleasant stay!

The bleach used in the toilets stink big time, we couldnt stay in the room for almost 4 - 5 hrs after the cleaning was done. The maintenance is not so great.
We decided to go to Yosemite over Thanksgiving weekend, normally all the hotels are booked up inside Yosemite and are high priced. So we looked on this site to check out a cheap place to stay near Yosemite. We found this place, the price was very reasonably, the room was clean, and had everything we needed to stay for the night. It was a little cold […] when we arrived but thankfully it had heating we could control. The location of this place is good, only 1hr from Yosemite to drive, which for us was fine. "Be open-minded"
We were expecting this hotel to be older and lower quality, but here are some things worth mentioning: - dead-bolt lock didn't engage so we couldn't use it - swinging latch lock was broken off - the only lock we had was the electronic door lock, so we propped the chairs against the door for security purposes - beds were creaky - lots of spider webs […] around the windows, lamps - continental breakfast wasn't very continental (only waffles, cereal, and juice available) On the plus side, it was in a nice central location on the main drag. I had read the previous reviews and I was a little "iffy" but overall my stay was nice and cozy. AND I SAW NO BED BUGS!!! They also have conplinentary breakfast in the mornin. Fresh, do it yourself waffles. the were yummy. Not to far feom Yosemite... Will stay here again next time im in yosemite :)

The location near Yosemite NP is great. We had stayed there 7 years ago and so I booked a room again this year for one night. I was surprised how warn down this hotel is, did not remember it to be that bad. Or it was only my room? The window screen was missing pieces and one could look right into my room. The toilet was leaking. What a waste of water […] in a drought area like CA. I left a note about these to things and a friendly request to have these fixed for future guests. The people were nice but the room was filfthy. The floor had numerous stains, the bath tub was dirty, I didn't even bother taking a shower even though I needed one and the refridgerator had not been cleaned in who knows how long. I thought the price was good but it turned out it was not worth it.

The staff were very friendly and fun to talk with. The cleaning crew were also friendly and accomodating. The lodge is older, so if someone is looking for pristine conditions - they won't find them. Convenient location for those visiting national park. Clean facility, decent breakfast, cordial staff. We had no complaints.

This was an excellent place for tourist to Yosemite. We found it clean, a downtown type location and walking distance to stores/resturants or just an evening stroll. "Overall a Low Value."
This seemed like an older motel that was partially updated. Room cleanliness left much to be desired and the Continental Breakfast was very basic. Overall, the price seemed out of line with what we got.
The room was cleaned and cooled so we were very comfortable. Only minus was that the room is very close to the road so at night I was awaken by cars/trucks passing by. Otherwise I liked the place and the staff was very helpful,

The only good thing about the lodge was the location...about 24 miles from Yosemite. But it was definitely not worth the money that we paid for the room. "Oakhurst Lodge - dirty and not worth the price"
The hotel was not very clean. I could see grime in th carpet and on the bedspreads. Room was small. Probably one of the closest to Yosemite, but not worth the price we paid. No rollaway available.

Yes, it's not the Ritz, but it's still pretty nice. The property is an old-style motel with outdoor entrances, but it's very well maintained outside and the room was clean. The swimming pool wasn't fancy, but it was still nice. The really good thing about the lodge was that it is about as close to Yosemite as you can get without paying the exhorbitant […] rates charged within the park. We were looking for a couple of nights close to Yosemite. The desk personnel were excellent and changed some things to get us in earlier than expected. The room is in need of updating. This was only a one night stay. Room was clean...2 queen beds, TV with basic cable. I prefer firmer mattress, but didn't have a backache in the morning. Average motel. Had an outdoor pool Good value for the price. Nice view outside the window. Window air conditioner worked OK. Hotel clerk was nice & able to answer questions. Only 1 ice machine, so […] had to walk around to almost the office. My wife & I would stay there again. A friend with 3 teenage girls stayed there a week before. When we got there the room was dirty. The hotel was ok after our room was changed, but it was way too much money for what you get.

First, they gave us keys to a room which still had guests that we walked in on. Then, missing from the room wastowels (1 for 4 people), kleenex box empty, also the door pushed open despite being locked, the water suddenly turned a dark orange color and was smelly, for the (meager) breakfast, there were no lids for the coffee cups, and all the staff […] could say was, oops, why are those cups even out? The room was filthy, very old, smelled, carpet stained, could not sleep because of all the road noise, beds were not made the following day and they didn"t even leave clean towels, we had to ask for more. "Overpriced"
The toilet flushed slowly, cracks in the door, scratchy towels and sheets, and leaky faucet. All for an exorbitant price because of the proximity to Yosemite. Must be better places out there!

"Oakhurst Lodge - Good for the price."
Clean and comfy enough to crash for the night. Close to the south entrance to Yosemite Park. Good quick eating places (Subway, McDonalds, Starbucks) and gas stations nearby. Don't expect high grade comfort to spend the entire day at the lodge. The purpose of the place is to let you sleep well enough for a hike/drive the next day and that purpose is […] well solved. The hotel was clean and just ok. The bathtub had a sizeable ring around it and looked dirty. The beds are hard and uncomfortable.

One world "terrible". The had e.coli outbreak (read do not use room water at all) and they offer summer style (read very thin) blankets. The last one is pretty pleasant for season when temperature drops to zero F. So, my recommendations: Take your own bottled water and do not forget about down sleeping bag. For the price the room was extremely adequate. WiFi in the room was very convenient and the staff was very, very nice. I will stay there again.
