"Great location with great staff"
I only have positive things to say about this hotel. The hotel is very close to La Rambla and the Cathedral but far enough away to avoid the noise. The rooms were very clean and the reception staff was always friendly. The hotel´s location is ideal: close to the Placa Catalunya (airport bus stops) and the city center. Still the neighbourhood is quiet and there´s not any noice coming from the streets. The hotel was in a great location. Close enough to all the action, so there is no need for Public transport, but tucked away enough to be quiet when you eventually decide to go to bed. Room and hotel in general was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent with an extensive choice of food and drinks. Staff were very friendly. Location was perfect - close to Plaza de Catalunya where the airport bus stops and where City tour buses leave from. Two minutes walk to La Rambla in one direction and Barcelona […] Cathedral in the other direction. We had an ongoing problem with the toilet in our room, which flushed intermittently but staff were very prompt in sorting this out for us. Would highly recommend this hotel. Even though this was only classed as a 3 star I thought I would look - glad I did, it was a great location. Everything stops at the top of this hotel's street - airport bus, taxis and hop off hop on buses. The staff were very welcoming and helped is with passes and tickets during our stay, gave us directions and were generally very attentive. Only had […] breakfast one morning, but it was a very good choice and the pastries were baked as we were eating. The rooms were very clean and although the bathroom was quite small, as you would expect in the city, it was fine for 2 of us. We're given a king size room, although we had only paid for a standard room and it was lovely to be able to stand on the balcony ( astro turfed for comfort) and look out to the skyline. Third consecutive year in Barcelona, first time here as i was looking for a more quiet location. The soundproof windows were ok, but loose hardware on the window handle let in noise and wind. The hall was a bit noisy - why does everyone that comes in late seems to slam their door? Overall, great value, central location close to the old city, Aerobus […] stop, metro and trains. "Great hotel perfect location"
We got to the hotel at about 11am and wanted to leave our luggage, luckily though our room was ready so we were able to check in. Which was great after an early start. The room was large, clean and had what you needed. Bathroom was nice too. It was great to have a safe in the room which was free to use. This was great as we'd been warned of pickpockets […] in the city, so we could pop all our valuables in the safe. The hotel itself is in a great location about 30 seconds from La Rambla, when getting to the hotel it's connected to a Decathalon. There are loads of places to shop and eat near to the hotel. We had requested early check-in, and the room was ready upon arrival. Professional and helpful staff, comfortable room/bathroom, prompt elevator service, free WIFI--all excellent. And you can't beat the location: a quiet street right next door to great street shopping, restaurants, La Rambla; and for those of us who love to walk in Barcelona, easy access […] to the beach, Barceloneta, Paseo de Gracia, Rambla del Mar. We loved our three-day stay and hope to be able to go back there soon. Only negative experience: we asked the hotel to call a taxi to take us to the airport, and we felt we were "taken for a ride." The best thing about about the hotel is location - it's nestled between Plaza Catalunya and the Gothic quarter right off Las Ramblas. The hotel itself is average at best. The halls, at least on the 2 floors our group stayed in were musty, with water damage on the carpets and walls. Our room was comfortable but some rooms were inexplicably smaller and […] cramped. Most have a small balcony which was nice. We were forced to sleep with the balcony doors open because during the winter there is only heat, no A/C available. Beware of making any outside calls as they do not advertise their prices and they are astronomical, even charging for attempted calls that never went through. "Just the Job!"
we just used the hotel for sleeping/ bathing and it was perfect for this! our room on the 3rd floor was quiet , clean and comfortable. The curtains kept all daylight out, so having a lie-in was undisturbed! Location was fantastic, just off la Ramblas - about a 2 min walk to one of the livliest streets in Barcelona. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, […] always polite and courteous and although we couldn't get breakfast on our leaving day (sunday 7.30 am) we had some complementary coffee and cookies to keep us going, sadly the pastries they intimated we could enjoy were conspicuous by their abscence! - but what the heck , we had a great time and the hotel was good! This is a great, clean hotel. It a 5 minute walk from La Ramblas which means it has the benefit of LOCATION and QUIETNESS. This hotel doesnt have a plethora of amenities so if that it what you're looking for, this not the place. But if you are looking for a nice, clean, excellently upkept hotel with a great location, this is definitely the place! "Highly recommended"
Great hotel located in the Bari Gotic and one block from the Ramblas. Everything was nice, new and clean. Our first room smelled of cigarettes and they happily changed our room. We would stay here again.Ósvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

Smallish 'Boutique style' hotel very well positioned in old part of town. Staff were polite & helpful at all times and happy to allow room access early when available. Hotel is small & basic. Rooms also are small & basic but clean, tidy & fine for short stays. Dissappointed that no kettle provided for making drinks. Wi fi internet now available for […] free throughout hotel which was most useful tho it was quite temperamental to use.
