"Great Hotel"
I had to stay due to loss of electricity from a recent storm. The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and friendly, especially the breakfast guy Vaughan and Castro. The free breakfast included your choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, waffles, bagels etc. My kids loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi. So being located by the mall you'd think it be easy to let's say drive over to the only starbucks in Vineland to get a coffee. You'd be better off walking to it as you have to drive from the hotel back onto Delsea ave versus driving a side st or access road. Not a good design (esp when dealing with Vineland drivers/ holiday traffic). Also, the cleaning […] staff does not heed the do no disturb sign and will knock to ask if you want your room cleaned. If you do, you better do it before they leave for the day (around 11:30 am) since after that, you are out of luck. "Nice to Relax"
The room had a little musty smell but probably a good shampoo is all it needs. I wish the water temperature in the pool was warmer. I could only stay for a few minutes in the water. The overall experience was ok. I had requested a room with a king size bed, but they had my reservation for a standard size bed. Luckily the manager was able to change our room. The shower in our room did not function properly. I was taking a shower and a bath at the same time, very unpleasant. In the morning we went to eat breakfast only to find that […] it was a continental breakfast, not a full breakfast buffet that I requested of the hotel we were going to stay at. had a great time in vineland, as hard as that is to believe. me and my girl live here but took a weekend away for my birthday. went to the mall and surrounding restaurants and the bay for sightseeing by the lighthouse about 15 miles away. she had gifts sent to motel which the staff presented to me upon arrival. the atmosphere was private and relaxing. "Our second time here... would recommend."
This Holiday Inn Express had friendly people at the front desk, a nice pool, a great complimentary breakfast and was easy to get in and out of. The only two things I would change would be 1. We have a family of four people and had three towels. I asked for an extra towel for the next morning and was told they were all being washed and someone from housekeeping […] would have one by 9:00 a.m. No one ever brought one up. We had to get one the next morning ourselves from the front desk. 2. When we showered a lot of water was wasted - it came out of the showerhead and the spigot at the same time. It wasn't very environmentally friendly as it wasted water. I think if all of their rooms did this and they fixed it they would save a ton of money in their water bill alone. I would still recommend. We took two rooms. The hotel itself was comfortable except that one of the rooms was next to the laundry room on the first floor .They had a nosiest washer in the world and people used it even at 11pm.
