Park Hotel Junior – Quarto d'Altino

When planning a trip Venice we were advised not to stay in or very close to Venice. So we decided on this hotel only 30 min drive to Venice. And we hit the jackpot. This hotel is royalty. Great hotel for the price but a little further from the airport than expected & difficult to get to.

I stayed in this hotel in October 2011 with my boyfriend. We already knew that it was out of Venice and relied upon the hotel free shuttle to take us back and forth to the nearest train station which worked really well. We also paid for the hotel shuttle to do the airport transfers which also worked really well. We just had to call them and they collected […] us. We had heard that Venice is quite an expensive place to visit and were trying to do the holiday as cheaply as we could. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from a large store, so we were able to buy bread, cheese, ham, drinks etc to make lunches to take with us on our days out to save a bit of cash. There is also a charming local restaurant 'Pieros' which is very close to the store, so we ate out there on a couple of nights of our stay. On one occassion we walked into Quatro d'Altino to a pizzeria there. The walk took about 20 minutes down a busy road (watch out for cyclists on the footpath!), but it was all fine for what we needed. The hotel reception staff were really helpful as they advised us on train times and allowed us to purchase train tickets directly from reception (as the station seemed to be unmanned). They were also happy to print out my boyfriend's boarding card for the flight home, as he had to check in on-line. The breakfasts were lovely and continental and the hotel was very quiet for the time we were there. Our room was lovely (with the biggest bed I have ever seen!) and we didn't hear anything in our room from any other guests. It was quite hot on the day we arrived, so we made use of the pool which was nice, and it was also nice to have a walk around the grounds of the park where the hotel is situated. The room, view and breakfast were very satisfing. The internet wasnt work in the room. The location problematic, difficult to find and far away fro the center and venice/ Nice quiet and beutiful hotel.

Beautiful Setting, Lovely balconies, Spacious Room, One of better breakfasts during holiday and lovely setting for dining room. Had non-refundable booking and paid for wrong date but all resolved painlessly. 10 minutes by car from train station for Venice, tickets available at reception. It is very private,comfortable, romantic. Breakfast is tasty, take you 30 min to get to Venice Sure I recommend my friends this hotel. Is realy 4* hotel

our purpose was to visit Venice so the hotel was not convenient...drive to rail...take train to venice....a lot of wasted time......however, the hotel was lovely and the grounds very pretty....use of the computer in the lobby was a plus

We enjoyed our stay at the Park Junior very much. It is out in the country and therefore very quiet which we enjoyed after a hectic day of sightseeing. I would recommend you have a car to stay, otherwise it would be difficult to get around. We used the hotel as a base to visit many towns. It worked out perfectly.

i choose this hotel based on past guest reviews and very happy with the choice. this hotel is beautifull and the grounds (park) is exceptional.our room was very modern, clean, comfortable and even had a terrace.we had dinner at the resturant on the grounds for 2 nights and that was very good and the hotels breakfast buffet was also very good with meats,cheeses,breads,fresh […] fruits,danishes,pies,coffee,juices,etc.barbara and franchesca are very friendly and helpful staff. as was mentioned by past guess getting to venice was easy by using the hotels shuttle to the train station(15 minutes away) and hopping on a train to venice thats about a 25 minute ride ( i wouldn't recommend walking to and from the hotel).i read many complaints from past guest that their wasn't any elevator to get to the 2nd and 3rd floors but the hotel is in the process of having an elevator built and in operation very soon.i would rate this hotel like a 5 star hotel ( but with better rates) and i WILL stay at this hotel on my next visit to venice. Great little hotel with great service. I was taken aback by the staff and them going out of their way to make our stay pleasant. A little distanced from Venice but the shuttle service was great. Very cozy and the pizza at a little restaurant down the street was amazing!

Positives: Lovely quiet setting, fabulous buffet breakfast, balcony, beautiful bathroom..... helpful staff. Shuttle was convenient and reasonable price Negatives: For us, isolation was a problem. There was little choice for dinner. If you didn't want to bother with a taxi to town, you had to eat in the full-service, rather pricey restaurant on the […] property. The hotel was modern and very comfy. Plenty of small details that made it asthetically pleasing. The bed was amazing for a good nights sleep for our last night in Italy. Free internet access that was great for skyping back home. We did not stay for breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The only downfall about this hotel was the lack of an elevator. […] We were only on the second floor so the two flights of stairs were nothing for our young legs, but I can only imagine an older couple lugging up thier bags to the forth floor. The hotel was very nice but it was very isolated in the countryside outside Venice. However, they bent over backwards to please including coffee and pastry at 4:30 a.m. since we were waiting for a taxi to the AP at 5 a.m. This hotel is excellent for a relaxing stay but a rental car is necessary if you plan to tour the area. This hotel suprised us for the price we paid. You wouldn't get the same value for money in Venice. It is about half an hour travel from Venice by train - the hotel has a shuttle service which comes to fetch you at the station and takes you back whenever you want to go to Venice. Really good hotel, friendly staff, new and clean room. Disadvantages: there isn't deposit safe in the room. Location: approx 30 min to Venice by train. I recommend book a transfer to and from VCE-airport (it was approx twice cheaper then taxi).

The place is very good for a four stars category. Near by tarin station - frequent high speed trains run to Venice central station, free parking at station. Beautiful park around hotel. It should be mantioned the the building is not equped with elevator and guests have to walk up the stairs to their rooms (we were on the first flor so it was'nt that […] bad). Everything you could want. Suited our needs perfectly as were just wanting a pleasant afternoon/evening prior to early morning flight from Treviso. Wish we had allowed ourselves more time to enjoy their wonderful breakfast in gorgeous surroundings. Intend returning when I will combine hotel with trip into Venice. Recently constructed (There are still some finishing construction activities around the hotel.) and nicely appointed, this hotel sits off the Autostrada a few miles west of the Venice airport and Venice itself, making it a very convenient spot to stop for a night before flying out or heading into the city. We had a large, comfortable room with a modern, […] spacious bathroom. Surrounding area includes an industrial zone and nondescript suburb of no particular tourist interest. Venetian lagoon and seafront with lots of condo's, hotels, and several shopping malls is a short drive to the south. The adjacent restaurant provides elegant service to a typically casual clientele. Hotellet och vårt rum kändes mer som ett vandrarhem. Sängarna var gamla och av dålig kvalitet, man kunde känna fjädrarna. Personalen var jättetrevlig och tillmötesgående, fri shuttle till tågstation var toppen, lite av anledning till att vi valde detta hotell. Vad som inte ingick fast som står att det ingår i rumspriset är fri shuttle till flygplatsen, […] detta fick vi betala 30 euro för. Priset för hotellet var billigt jämfört med hotell som ligger i centrala Venedig, det var därför vi valde hotellet samt för att vi var ute efter en pool. Dock hade de ingen bra bild på den, vi förstod varför när vi såg den- det var som en stor barnpool. Den var inte uppblåst men den var av plast och stod ovanpå marken, vi ville absolut inte bada i den. Annat var att hotellet dammsög tidigt (8-9:00 på morgonen) och detta lät jättehögt och störde en från att ta sovmorgon. De höll även på med byggarbete och det lät förskräckligt mycket. Lesa meira

An sich ein wirklich gut geführtes Haus, man muss halt wissen, was man will. Auf jedenFall bucht man einen Aufenthalt "abseits". Was will man in Quarto D Altino? Wahrscheinlich Venedig besuchen. Dabei sollte man allerdings bedenken, dass es eine knappe Stunde dauert bis man vom Hotelzimmer am Bahnhof Venedig St. Lucia ist, Warten in der Lobby, Fahrt […] mit 6Sitzer-Hotelbus (gratis!) zum Bahnhof, Wartezeit, evtl. Zugverspätung. Reine Fahrzeit der Bahn beträgt etwa 30 Minuten. Bei der Rückfahrt muss man eventuell auf die zweite Tour des Busses ca. 10 Minuten warten. Kosten für die Bahnfahrt 5 Euro / Person hin und retour - Bahntickets gibt es an der Rezeption. Näher liegt übrigens Treviso - aber will man dort hin? Das Attribut "Park Hotel" ist gerechtfertigt. Einen Nachmittag am Pool sollte man jedoch wegen des symbolischen, aufblasbarer :) Swimming-Pool-Winzlings nicht einplanen. Schöne und interessant gestylte Zimmer und Inneneinrichtung des Hauses, manchmal nah am Kitsch, aber insgesamt doch erfreulich fürs Auge. Die Minibar im Zimmer hat eine bescheiden Auswahl und gehobene Preise. Es fehlt kurioserweise Wein - und Mineralwasser gibt es nur in 0,5 Liter Größe. WLAN funktioniert nur in der Lobby. Das Personal ist recht nett, besonders so lange man nichts kritisiert. Das Frühstück ist gut durchschnttlich, was Auswahl und Qualität betrifft. Das sehr nahe gelegene Odino-Restaurant, das offensichtlich den selben Besitzern gehört, bietet eine ausgezeichnete italienische Küche mit durchaus üppigen Portionen zu gehobenen Preisen. Vorsicht: Sollten Sie das stark verbilligte Menue für Hotelgäste um EUR 20 nehmen, überlesen sie nicht die "besonderen Bedingungen" dieses Offerts! Sie dürfen nämlich nur zwei Gänge des 3-Gang-Menues konsumieren, ansonsten sie für den zusätzlichen Gang tüchtig "aufzahlen" müssen. O hotel atende ao quesito basico de dormir e ir embora mas é mau localizado (longe de veneza e dos seus acesos), mau sinalizado pois mesmo com gps bem atualizado tive muita dificuldade em acha-lo, quarto muito velho ( ate é grande ), café medio para ruim, e uma gerente que dá medo só de olhar!!!!!!!!!!! Joli hotel au calme avec un grand park très agréable. Petit déjeuné buffet complet. personnel très sympathique et parlant français. Attention aux moustiques. Accès pour Venise très facile en voiture. Fint hotell med god frukost. Ligger avsides men hotellet erbjuder transfer till flygplats och järnvägsstation. Mycket hög standard på hotellet kändes dock inte helt färdigbyggt ännu. Vi bodde på hotellet sista natten innan vi flög ifrån Italien.

Flott hotell, med super service. Store og rene rom. Fri internett. Grei frokostbuffet. Stille og rolige omgivelser. Bakdelen med stedet er at det ligger litt på "landet", men hotellet tilbyr gratis kjøre til jernbanestasjonen 3 km unna, hvor det kun er 25 min med toget til Venezia. Skal du noe annet, er det nyttig med (leie)bil.

We really liked this hotel, nice staff, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and a nice area.

Personalets service var fin og man var meget hjælpsom med hensyn til at få bagage op på værelset. Hotellet havde ikke fået elevator endnu! Togbilletter kunne købes i receptioner som også havde trykt køreplan. Værelset var i flot design med lækkert bad og flotte lamper og senge og dekoration. I spisesalen var der koldt og der blev ikke fyldt efter på […] morgenmadsbuffeten. Gode parkeringsforhold, gratis. Receptionen kunne anbefale et lokalt spisested, som var helt perfekt. Lesa meira

El hotel es excelente. La decoración interior y exterior es impresionante. La distribución de las habitación es funcional. El servicio de la recepción extraordinaria y la coordinación para el transporte desde y hacia la estación del tres es altamente eficiente.

Nothing disappointing, quite, restaurant, a nice green park, pleasant people, close to highway... - Rien de décevant. Recommandé si vous acceptez d'être à quelques km de Venise pour vous reposer.

Fantastisk anlegg rundt hotellet, perfekt for barnefamilier. Deilig med en egen park, der barna kunne springe fritt. Lite, men rent basseng, området rundt bassenget var veldig fint laget til. Er veldig fornøyd med alt, servicen var også topp!

Ein gutes + ruhiges Hotel , 2 km vom Bahnhof in einer großen Parkanlage.Durch den kostenlosen Shuttle war es nicht negativ. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, Cappuccino incl. Unser Zimmer mit Balkon zum Garten war sehr geräumig. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.Alle sehenswerte Orte in Venetien waren mit der Bahn gut zu erreichen.

Rustig,luxe, niet te duur en erg dichtbij Venetie. Goede eetgelegenheden in het stadje zelf. Gezellige sfeer en erg goede voorzieningen in het hotel. Zeker het aanraden waard als je Venetie en omgeving wil bezoeken en toch een rustig en prima nacht wil doorbrengen. Aanrader!

Es handelt sich um eine neues Hotel, dass noch nicht ganz fertig war während unseres Urlaubs. Dennoch konnte man seinen Urlaub dort direkt genießen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend . Man muss es lediglich erst einmal finden (Ohne Navi).... Das Frühstück war landestypisch gut. Wer deutsches Brot sucht wird enttäuscht. Die Die Lage […] des Hotels ist gut und sehr ruhig. Es gibt einen Supermarkt und weitere Geschäfte um die Ecke. Auch die Autobahn ist gut erreichbar. Man braucht etwa 30 Minuten nach Venedig direkt. Es gibt auch eine Zugfahrmöglichkeit. Die Karten können direkt über das Hotel beschafft werden. Lesa meira
