Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

Hótelið er í góðu umhverfi og starfsfólk mjög vinalegt. Rétt handan við hornið eru sporvagnarnir bæði gömlu sem fara upp brekkurnar og í gegnum ítalska og kínahverfið og endar á Market þar sem allar verslanirnar eru. Nýju sporvagnarnir þeir fara meðfram bryggjunum og sjávarsíðunni og hægt er að taka þá eða labba að bryggju 35 að mig minnir þar sem ferjan til Alcatrez er. Eina sem hefði fullkomnað þessa hóteldvöl var ef það hefði verið þráðlaust net upp í herberginu. En það er eingöngu í andyrinu. Mun klárlega gista aftur á þessu hóteli í framtíðinni þegar farið verður aftur til San Francisco

"Great Place to Stay"
Great location, view of the bay from room, short walk to Chinatown and great restaurants. In the financial district, so a little pricey (especialy valet parking) but that's San Francisco. Very friendly staff. We stay there every time we visit SF.

We had a wonderful stay. From check-in to check-out, everyone was great, helpful and very friendly but in particular check-in agent Juan, porters Adam and Tang and concierge Lex is amazing, so knowledgeable and extraordinarily helpful. I would definitely stay here again. And in winter, the urn of hot apple cider in the foyer is the best!. While the […] hotel is in the business district, it is a 10 minute walk to Chinatown, little Italy, the Ferry building and the cable car is in front. We got excellent value through Hotels.com. "NEW Favorite Hotel in SF"
My husand and I go to SF regularly and have stayed in countless hotels and vacation rentals and the Omni was a pleasant surprise. The room was quiet, the staff friendly and the bar inviting. The biggest surprise was the discounted parking on Friday and Saturday nights. We have found a new favorite.
nice hotel. The only negative was when I booked this room I asked for 1 king size bed we ended up getting 2 full beds

"everything you'd expect of an Omni Hotel"
Friendly staff, great location, beautiful lobby, clean rooms, fair price. What else can you ask for? The SF Omni was great.

Aside from the Front Desk Personnel not ever getting back to me after putting me on hold and a flat bottle of coke in the fridge, this hotel was awesome! Great location. Walking distance to Pier, Chinatown, Union Square - I went to all of these places during my stay. Had a great stay. Would definately return!

The customer service at this hotel is phenomenal! We asked the front desk for suggestions about places to go around the city, and they were always so helpful and always steered us in the right direction. Their suggestions for restaurants all proved to be all great choices! The Hotel was beautiful. Very luxurious! The room was spacious, the accomodations lovely. The hotel was quiet, it was very much a refuge from everything when we would get to our room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Omni San Francisco - Great value."
The lobby is very nice, the people even nicer. I mentioned my wife's birthday upon checking in and we were quite surprised to find some wonderful cake with fruit waiting for us in our room the next evening. They have notices in the room about renovations occuring starting in February, but our room was in beautiful condition (with the exception of some […] minor grout issues in the shower, easily overlooked). The bed was wonderful. You could hear some noise from the hall (mostly the maids knocking on the doors in the morning while we were being lazy in bed), but the room was surprisingly quiet considering the cable cars run right by the hotel. The location was great, two blocks to the Transamerica building, about four to Chinatown and a bit more to the start of the embarcadero, all easy walks. Parking is not cheap, about $50 per night. but we avoid that by parking at BART in Pleasent Hills (a nice area near Walnut Creek) and taking the train into the city. The Montgomery BART station is about 6 blocks, a bit of a walk with luggage, but you can avoid that with a $6.00 cab ride. We would stay again. Lesa meira

The hotel was fantastic. The entire staff was extremely courteous and helpful in every way possible. It's very clean and very elegant. Would recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Rooms are comfortable but at top level, the carpets and bathrooms require renovation. But the hotel is close all strategic places.

Beautiful room. Great location--4 blocks from the underground system (Bart)--easy walk. Staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Great morning and afternoon snacks in the besutiful lobby Spent 3 nights and would return to this hotel again!

Everything was perfect at the Omni. The doormen were wonderful to my 89 year old Mother, helping her and one even sang happy birthday to her. The lobby was absolutely beautiful. "everything they said it was ....."
The Omni in San Fran was everything that everyone said it was in their reviews. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and large and comfortable and it was in a great location. We first were put in a room facing the courtyard, as was advised by other reviews, but we found that it felt too closed in and so we were moved to a room […] facing the front of the building and that felt better as it had a bit of a view. The Omni is a fine 4 star hotel. Rooms are nice sized and very comfortable. They could stand an update. The main standout was the service. The moment we arrived everybody in the lobby welcomed us. The bellman was very friendly and the front desk was very helpful. Even the bartender was willing to help us get a highchair to feed our daughter when we […] were having coffee in the morning. The Omni staff are outstanding. We were greeted with hot cider and ginger bread cookies. Great location and price is reasonable. Only drawback, is that the bedrooms are a bit dated.

Pros: Service is incredible here. Really friendly people. Location is quite good, walkable to most everything including some very good restaurants, ferry building, MOMA, all sorts of stuff. Fitness room is actually good. Free starbucks coffee in the AM. Cons: No views with this hotel, many rooms overlook busy streets and is a big noisy (traffic […] only). Others are inward, quiet but boring view. Many rooms are a touch dated. They are quite good, but problem not as awesome as you want given it's "Luxury" claim on the website. I'm told they are reworking them in 2012. Cell phone reception on some floors is horrible. Wifi is $10/night. Bah. Summary: it's a good hotel but other than service not really excellent in anything. But, i'm a tough grader however. If you stay here, you'll be fine. Very fine. Lesa meira
