Good location - good breakfast. only 10 min taxi drive from the Bologna airport. Transport via taxi 15 EUR good location for stop over.

My husband and I went to Bolognia for a romantic holiday and also to explore the pizzerias because we are in that business. We choce Hotel Metropolitan because of the location, the price and the beautiful pictures on the webside. It was much more than we expected. Its perfectly located in the center near the trainstation and shops and restaurants. The staff was very very helpful and did everything to make our stay as good as posible. The breakfast was very good with great coffe and there was always candlelights in the morning. Our room was in the olivegarden and it was beautifuly decorated og there were sunbeds outside the room. The room was always clean and we were never bothered when we were in the room by staff that was cleaning or filling up the minibar or something. Hopefully we are going to visit Metropolitan hotel again someday :)

"Very Good for the money"
For the money this is a great stay hotel. The staff are friendly, and very relaxed. Location is good, being around 8KM out of the city, and great for walking the dog in the countryside. Facilities are ok, with under hotel parking, and the hotel is clean and tidy. For the money I would stay there again.

"Decent"
Alot better than some of these reviews would have you believe. The staff was very corteous, and even provided me with two free internet accounts for my single room (one for each device), instead of the usual one. Internet was fast, room was clean (their starch smells funny though :)). AC sucks, but if you remove the top plastic cover from the old unit […] it actually works fine, and you can close the windows, so you don't hear the train lol. All in all, exactly what you'd expect for that kind of money, Lesa meira
"Nasty hotel above a strip bar"
I drove past the place three times in hope that I was wrong, inside it didn't get any better. Walls are paper thin and there are no facilities that work. Spend a few pounds more and stay somewhere nice
"Good Value"
The hotel is 17 km from Bologna, but it is in the country side.. The corridors and hall ways have stain carpets but my room was clean and tidy.. Large and clean bathroom. Considering the price of 35 Euro it was a good deal. Its close to a train railway, but if you keep the windows shut, nothing that would be a concern.

the hotel was bad at all, the carpets are old and dirty , the bath sink has a leak, the air condiotining is not working, and finally, the train pass 30 mts next to the hotel every 5 minutes..witout AC, couldn`t close the window.... total disaster...

Not really close to the city of Bologna. There's not much to do in the city of Pianoro, but there are great views from the hotel rooms (and when driving in the area)

"sporco, decadente ed insicuro"
Nonostante avessimo già pagato in anticipo e la prenotazione non fosse rimborsabile, abbiamo preferito perdere i soldi ed andarcene piuttosto che passarci due notti! La hall tutto sommato è la cosa più bella, anche se visibilmente datata. La stanza era da tinteggiare, il mobile bar era stato tolto e rimaneva solo l'antina con incatenato il cavatappi, […] un dito di polvere era sui comodini. Ma la cosa peggiore è stato il lettino che avevano destinato a mio figlio di 9 mesi: non era solo malconcio, non stava proprio insieme, le sbarre laterali non stavano su e agli angoli si apriva, da una parte usciva una vite che un bimbo avrebbe facilmente messo in bocca. La piscina era piena di animali morti, ovviamente l'acqua non veniva pulita da un po', il fondo della piscina era sollevato e le sdraio fuori erano quasi tutte rotte. Det er simpelthen elendigt, dårlige senge, elendig mad (tag endelig ud at spise). ingen service, det eneste der er godt er prisen, men det kan blive for ringe. Det hele er ved at falde fra hinanden.

"Hotel Park Bologna"
Billederne på hjemmesiden er fra 1990 og man kan som gæst derfor godt blive skuffet, når man ankommer. Hotellet er ikke så luksuiøst ,som det ser ud på billederne. Personalet ydede en super god service, morgenmadsbuffetten er ikke noget at råbe hurra for. Det er et hyggeligt og charmerende hotel med en god beliggenhed for gæster i bil med kort afstand […] til centrum og gode lokale restauranter. Vær opmærksom på, at der gælder andre regler end i dk for brug af swimmingpool og rutsjebane, man skal være mere end 14 år for at prøve rutsjebanen. og der skal være en livredder til stede for at den må bruges. Francamente trovo che la categoria non sia appropriata alle stelle che porta. Assolutamente da non consigliare.
Hotellet burde bruge lidt kræfter på at shine tingene op. Det er væsentligt bedre, end det ser ud ved første øjekast.

Me quedé en este hotel porque en su descripción decía que estaba muy cerca del centro de Bolonia, está a media hora o 40 minutos en autobús. Pro la noche deja de pasar el autobús por lo que la única forma de ir y regresa (si quieres cenar en bolonia) es en taxi y te saldrá entre 30 o 40 € el trayecto. Alrededor del hotel no hay nada, ni restautrantes, […] ni tiendas, ni súpermercados ni nada, por lo que sólo tienes como opción comer en el hotel y en sus horarios. en el hotel no hay tienda para comprar bocadillos o chocolates o agua por si se ofrece en la noche. Se escuah absolutamente todo, cuando un vecino se está bañaando, las voces, etc. en totsl, de 4 estrellas (que dice que tiene) no tiene nada. lo mejor es planear el viaje con tiempo y buscar un hotel o pensión en el centro de bolonia, de esa forma te evitas el gasto en transportes y la perdida de tiempo.
