Front of house staff were excellent, and faultless very good english the best we have encountered in Germany. Breakfast we were able to negotiate for 9... euro each and was one of the best we have had worldwide the range of juices, smoothies, hot ,cold, breads, teas about 20 plus 6 tealeaf varieties,fruits cheeses,yoghurts, even little tubs of pumkin seeds prunes etc about 10 choices awaffle machine with proper maple syrup yummy. We chose the NH hotel as we wanted to be near FABRIK live music venue to see roger chapman a great venue old wharehouse amazing with a crane on top of the building!!!! 5 stops on the no2 bus and walking distance. Altona bus and tube station nearby. No3 bus to Rathaus city centre about 20 mins we bought a 3 day pass that covered all journeys in and around city on tube bus train and it also gave us discounts at numerous venues it paid for itself, and it was only £32.00 for two and for the same price up to 5. The bus and tube service was amazing the no3 to town ran every five minutes always on time they must use tracking as the displays were spot on to the minute every time! Look forward to going to germany soon get one of those tickets! If you want an amazing lunch tea etc go to top floor of alterhaus by lake its like harrods a restuarant/cafeteria that is awesome and incredibly as cheap as the local cafes/bars.
