Not bad, clean but hated to see dirty dinner plates etc.. along the halls for very very long periods e.g. from the evening before. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Frábær staðsetning, snyrtilegt hótel, starfsfólk hótelsins alveg til fyrirmyndar í alla staði. Var í studio íbúð sem var mjög snyrtileg og fín þegar ég fékk hana. Ég var þarna í 5 nætur og aldrei á öllum tímanum sem ég var þarna var komið inn og þrifið, aldrei skipt á rúmum eða sett ný handklæði og ekki einu sinni tekið ruslið. Það mætti setja það skírar í lýsinguna á hótelinu að þetta þarf að biðja sérstaklega um. En það er þvottavél og maður hefur alla aðstöðu til að þvo rúmföt og handklæði sjálfur þó svo ég nenni bara ekki að standa í svoleiðis þegar ég er í fríi. Þetta hefði haft áhrif á val mitt á hóteli. Annað sem mætti láta vita af er að rúmið var alveg niðri við gólfið, nánast bara búið að smíða ramma í kringum dýnu sem var á gólfinu. Þetta var allt í lagi fyrir mig en ég get ímyndað mér að þetta sé ekki gott fyrir fólk ég verra líkamlegu ástandi eða eldra fólk. En í heildina var ég sátt við hótelið og myndi alveg fara aftur á það.

Booked a family room with two double beds. The room not the biggest but made up for it with style and charm. Ours was a two night stay. The Location was perfect for us to visit the Arndale shopping center, only 2 minutes walk away and the MEN arena that was our reason for this trip is only 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was good. Our points to the management: During breakfast one of the staff threw the cutlery into some trays in the restaurant creating so much noise. There must be something wrong with the drainage from the bathrooms as when we arrived the smell was well "drainage" smell we called for a fix of this and they came promptly and used some cemicals to remove the smell. Unfortunately it started to come back so we found out that the only solution was to close the drains in the sink and bathtub and put a wet cloth in the shower. Still a very nice stay and we would stay here again deffinately on our next return to the area.

"Ideal for Manchester Opera House and Salford Quays"
Stayed for one night and the hotel was excellent value. Particularly as we stayed on a Sunday. Room was clean if basic ,breakfast was excellent and free parking in Manchester rare but valuable. you can walk to the Opera House and Deansgate in 10 mins and a 5 minute car ride away is Salford Quays.
Excellent location for media city and central manchester for the price. Free parking and wifi a bonus.

"Hotel Campanile"
Hotel location was very good.One must see the Machester united football club & science and industries museum near the hotel.
Having read the comments beforehand trepidation was the word but location was the deciding factor. It is what it is, for the price paid it was a bed for the night and comfortable enough. Breakfast offered at £8.50 was steep when got the same at Sainsburys across the road for half the price. The hairdryer polyfilled into the wall was a source of amusement […] but heh ho you get what you pay for. Room could do with a lick of paint and general freshen up, all in all it served a purpose! fI have stayed in some 20 hotels in Manchester and this is without doubt the worst by a country mile. Awful location, service, condition. Really, do not even consider this hotel.

on first inprestions of the hotel from the outside it looked nice .When entering the room it was very small the toilet was no very clean there was no glasses to wash your mouth out when claeing your teeth . there was no bus timetables for traveling into town .The bar closes at 11.00pm .In the morning we had the over priced breakfast £8.50 for a sausage […] ,bacon egg mushrooms hash brown ,beans .so the next day we went to sainsberrys for a BIG brakefast for £4.29 .The food in the restraunt was also poor .In all it was a poor experance rating out of 10 2/10 Lesa meira
"Campanile Hotel in Salfford - Let down"
Upon arrival all seemed well until I stepped into the hotel block itself. I was hit by a horrid smell of cleaning products. Reminded me of an old hospital. The decoration in the hall is much to be desired. Once I reached my room I opened the door and was like walking into an oven it was so hot. I literally slept with my window open all night which meant […] that I had to listen to the passing cars on the main road for most of the night. The mirror on the wall was cracked and there were burn marks on the carpet one of which was clearly an Iron. Once in bed the matress was quite comfortable and duvet/pillows were sufficient. However, when you make the smallest movement the bed moves and bangs against the wall, which I'm sure the people next door didn't appreciate. In the morning I went down to breakfast to find that I had to pay £6 for a continental buffet and an additional £2.50 for a cooked english breakfast. Being hungry and had a long day ahead I forked out the £8.50 for the lot. The restuarant was empty and had very poor customer service. No "good morning sir how are you today?" the breakfast on offer was very basic and not very appealing as for the cooked breakfast; the beans were stone cold possibly straight from the tin and was only a childs portion. I finished my food and returned to my room to find that the cleaner was already in there cleaning my room at 8:30am. I felt like I was being pushed out. Overall I felt I had been ripped off and had there been available rooms would have stayed at a Travelodge or Premier Inn. Lesa meira

I only reason to stay was for work being close helped,didnt not like the comfort not slept well for todays so would not go there again and i do travel alot work related and this is not a nice hotel for its value but they get people to stay coz ov the location its a no for me.

Stayed there with my son, to watch Paul Scholes testimonial game at Old Trafford. Hotel was comfortable, room had everything you needed and the breakfast was delicious! Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were excellent at the hotel but the bed was covered in bed bugs! Really disgusting. Would recomend if they got rid of the bed bugs.

Way too much money for what it was. The bed was bad, the service in the reception was awful, one oif them was particularly rude. The key never worked and I had to walk back all the time for it to work again. The TV and the cleanliness was ok. I am never gonna stay in Campanile again.

The price was low, so we were expecting just a bed and toilet. But it was actually a very nice place! And the staff was lovely!!

The hotel is close to the stadium, with about a 20+ mins walk so it was very convenient as we went to Manchester for a match. Walking to and from the hotel is safe on match days but it would be a bit scary at night on non-match days.

This is a cheap and cheerful 'motel style' place. It was clean but dated in decor. There was a badly cracked but repaired sink and also repaired plasterwork on the walls. On the plus side It had tea and coffee facilities and a flat screen TV and toiletries. Located on a trading estate, a short taxi ride from the centre.

Booked this hotel to see concert at Trafford cricket ground. Had family room booking but arrived to allocation of double room! Camp bed provided had seen better days! Staff were more than helpful to sort out a situation beyond their control. A lick of paint would sort out the basic hotel and make it even more value for money. Free parking facilities […] were a bonus and a good half hour walk to cricket ground or football ground not the end of the world. Lesa meira
"Noisest hotel stay I have ever experienced"
I quite regularly stay in hotels for weekends or nights away. The hotel itself was what you would expect from a 2 star and the staff were fairly friendly and efficient. However, I got literally no sleep. It was the noisiest hotel I have stayed in including ones in the centre of large European cities e.g. Barcelona, Paris. There was noise from outside […] and from residents from 12 midnight until 6am in the morning. I would never ever stay at this hotel again Lesa meira
"Very Reasonable Pet Friendly Hotel"
We chose this hotel as it is convenient to Old Trafford and is pet friendly. The room was clean, we had an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good and reasonable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel as going to Old Trafford. Took about half an hour to walk and was easy to get to. Comfortable nights stay, and kids ate free at breakfast.

just stayed for one night as we went to concert at old trafford cricket ground. not a bad location as you can walk to salford quays in 15-20 mins and the cricket ground in about 30mins. i thought the service was good at the hotel. the room was clean but basic but it did the job for us. room was very warm so had to open window but you could hear everything! […] but you expect that. all in all i thought the hotel was basic but clean, reasonable value for money and is ok for short stay Lesa meira
"Perfect for one night"
Our twin room was really small, and we had the compulsory crap shower curtain that allows water to go everywhere....however, it's clean, it's convenient, it's cheap. There is a restaurant and a bar, with a McD and KFC over the road. 2.4 miles to LCC, less to Old Trafford. 10 mins walk into town. Jeg syntes generelt at hotellet levede fuldt op til mine forventninger. Service fra personale også oki. 30min gang til Old Trafford. Fine indkøbs muligheder tæt på hotellet.

Wer mit einem einfachen zweckmäßigen Hotel zufrieden ist ist hier auf jeden Fall gut untergebracht. Zimmer waren sauber -- Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksvielfalt war eher bescheiden aber alles war in ordentlicher Menge verfügbar. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmen hier auf jeden Fall und wir würden es wieder buchen.

For ein fotballtur(både City og United) for gutta på tur kan dette hotellet anbefalast! Grei komfort, baren var livlaus(på ein tirsdag), restauranten ålreit. Passar også gjerne par som ikkje må ha luksus.
