Villas de Santa Fe – Santa Fe

This is the 2nd time I've stayed in the Villas. It is a fabulous location, 2 blocks from historic downtown Santa Fe and for the price you can't get better. We come to ski in the winter and the small kitchen it offers is perfect for us. The lobby has complimentary coffee/hot chocolate/tea anytime, gym and heated pool and hot tub. These condos are spacious and close to downtown. This is the second time I've stayed there and I have not been disappointed either time. The kitchens are well equipped and the bedding is of high quality. There is a shuttle service to downtown and the staff is very accomodating. I highly recommend these condos.

I would recommend this hotel while staying in Santa Fe. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. A concern is the noise level in the hall way. Something should be done to muffled the way sound carries in the hall way.

Not sure if this applies to all rooms at the Villas but the sink/counter/mirror was separate from the bath/shower. This is something that I found helpful. The kitchenet is complete with all needed cups, plates and cookware including a wine bottle opener. The fireplace kept the 1 bed apt warm and cozy. We will definately be staying here again if given […] the opportunity. The only con I can think of is that the bottom of out front entry door (and all the doors I could see from the hall) have a small 1/2 inch gap beetween the floor and the door. This caused sound to travel badly from the hall to the room and visa versa. Otherwise was a great stay. Lesa meira

What a great place to stay! I wish we could have stayed longer. We had a one bedroom standard room and it was outstanding. The beds, linens, towels, and coffee maker were really high end. Two TV's, no arguing. But the best thing was the staff and the shuttle service. We had a car but it was nice to go out for dinner at night and use the shuttle. The […] lobby was warm and inviting and so were the staff. I travel a lot and would definitely come back here and have already recommended it to everyone I've talked to. This is the second time we've stayed here and it is very suitable for what we need. We take our younger kids skiing. It's just down the street from the base of the mountain and just blocks away from the Plaza. Very conveniently located. It has a full kitchen so we take our breakfast stuff to eat before we ski, separate bedroom and sofa bed. It's very […] clean and updated. This was our second stay at Villas de Santa Fe. The hotel is attractive, very clean, and has friendly, helpful desk personnel. The one bedroom suite was well supplied, very attractive and comfortable. Easy walk to the plaza. The king bed was heavenly. The lobby is not a gathering place so it's not a place to meet people, but we knew that going in. The […] big problem this time was that the plumbing in an adjoining room sounded like an explosion in our bedroom. It waked me up twice. We didn't have this problem during the first stay, so I would be willing to give it one more try. The first stay didn't include the explosions. Lesa meira

Great hotel, beautiful rooms, but beware, they are remodeling units until March. While we were there they woke us at 6am and used power tools in the room right across the hall at 8am. Don't expect to be able to rest at all!!!

We stayed here during a girls weekend in Santa Fe. It was just what we wanted - very affordable and the room was clean and comfortable. The living/dining area were a great bonus and we would have used them more if we had stayed longer. Our reservation didn't include maid service (you might be able to pay extra for it - don't quote me on that though) […] but extra towels/linens were available if we needed them. The beds were comfortable and the ONLY bad thing was the remote for our TV didn't work (although we kept forgetting to ask at the front desk for it to be fixed.) Parking was easy and close to our room and It's only 4 blocks from the plaza. Maybe a block or 2 of the walk is down a dimly lit street (at night, obviously) but none of us ever felt unsafe. Excellent place to stay! The service was outstanding. Never waited more than 10 minutes for the hotel shuttle to pick us up or take us wherever we wanted to go.

We were looking forward to relax in the hot tub after a race on the snow. Unfortunately, there was music playing loudly right next to the tub. The station was terrible, with no option to change it. Please install a mechanism for guests to choose their music.

Stayed in a comfortable, spacious, well-maintained unit with nice little kitchen. Reasonably easy walk to Old Town Plaza, if you don't want to take their free, on-request shuttle. This is a time share (?) resort, so no restaurant or lounge on premises. Free coffee and juice available in office, and many restaurants nearby. Front desk staff very pleasant […] and helpful. The staff is so nice and helpful. There is a free shuttle service to drive you around town, although it is only about a 10 minute walk to the plaza and the rooms are wonderful!

The lobby staff was very helpful and the rooms were nice. Our only real surprises were that the pool was closed for maintenance for the entire week we were there and there was no disclosure of this by hotels.com. Also this is a time share and not a hotel. We did not know that until we were there and did not have maid service the first day. When we inquired […] we were told the maid service was only once during our week stay. I was very satisfied with our recent stay at the Villas de Santa Fe. The room was clean and so nice to have a little extra space of the sitting area that could be shut off from the bedroom! It was conveniently located near the heart of everything, so that you could actually walk to the center if you wanted to. The only down side was the parking at night […] - not enough spaces, and very tight with what was there, but I think this is a Santa Fe problem, and it did not deter from our overall stay. Great beds; accommodating staff; short walk to plaza.

The condo far exceeded our expectations. The pricing was very reasonable compared to the hotels closer to or in the Plaza area. It was about a 5 block walk or so to the Plaza. The hotel has a shuttle service that was readily available if walking was out of the question. The condo was clean with fresh linens & comfortable bedding. My friend was staying at the Eldorado (more expensive) and we both agreed that my room was nicer and cheaper! Great hotel.

Very spacious, comfortable rooms with all the amenities, and an excellant location close to all community features.

Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. They assisted us with city directions, recommended places to eat and to visit, and provided a very prompt shuttle service to and from the hotel anywhere within a three mile limit. We considered that a most outstanding feature. As noted, the suite facilities were very nice and provided a fully stocked kitchen among […] the standard amenities. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was very very comfortable, the bathroom very large and well provided with towels, etc. The suite was decorated with a southwest flavor. My wife & I stayed at the Villas for 3 nights in September. Everything about the hotel was excellent: Very helpful and friendly front desk staff (everyone, especially Daniel), comfortable and well appointed clean rooms, great location. No complaints at all. This hotel has an exceptional value. It is not expensive and suited our needs perfectly. Great location, very helpful and friendly staff.

This is a time share property that rents vacant rooms by the night. No reasturant or bar. The property was clean and had nice Amenities but no daily room service. The room had a full but small kitchen and the separate living room was nice. It's about a 5 min. walk to the square. It was a little uncomfortable walking back at night. They offer a free […] shuttle which we will use next time at night. Staff was very friedly and helpful. We would stay there again especially given the price savings vs staying around square. In every respect this was an excellent experience, but by far the best aspect was the outstanding service provided by the front desk personnel, always courteous and always accomodating, even beyond the call of duty. I'll make this my regular place to stay in Santa Fe.

Quiet, comfortable and very afforable find in an expensive city. Rooms were wonderful with full kitchen; front desk service was superior; helpful shuttle to surrounding sights; would definitely stay here on my next trip.

The staff was superb. Efficient, conscientious and friendly. This place is great for families wanting an apartment with kitchen during a vacation. Also the free shuttle was really a plus! Stayed here before and this has greatly improved. service is attentive and instant some suites need furniture replacement wireless practically non-existent and other internet connectivity are SLOW

Fantastic staff at front desk and good tour guides. Shuttle service was the key and they were always there for us to take us and pick us up! Use it! Rooms were nice. Especially liked the patio rooms as much quieter facing courtyard. Nice set up with coffee maker and some packets to start. Dishes nice. Beds need a padded cover--one had one, one didn't, […] but depends on what you like. Highly recommend this property. Nice grill area by pool that we used once. Walking distance from Plaza, but a little hike. Shuttle is best way to get there and back. There for a wedding up at Hyde Park-gorgeous. Also toured Taos for the day. Pretty drive. This was an OK hotel. With as many good choices as there are in Santa Fe, I would stay somewhere else. The pool didn't open until 9am (too late for us) and the fitness room (actually the laundry room with 3 workout machines) was a waste of time. 2 of the 3 machines were disabled -- one worked OK. Also, this is a pet friendly hotel -- and we didn't have […] pets, so the barking dogs and pets everywhere was a bit off-putting. Lesa meira

This room had everything we needed. It was a 10 minute walk to the plaza that seemed very long after walking all day, but that was my ONLY issue. Great hotel for the money.

We went on our first family vacation with our 6 month old daughter. I wanted a 2 room suite so she could sleep in one room and we could have our own. This place was perfect... It basically was a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen, family room and separate bedroom and en suite bathroom. It had been updated recently and was great. Pool was small but worked […] fine. Only complaintis they need some more umbrellas in the pool area to protect from the intense sun. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend Lesa meira

I was a little wary of choosing a hotel on the internet. This hotel/resort was so conveniently located, staff were so polite and helpful and the room/suite had more comfort than I expected. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Even the hallways of the hotel smelled clean, looked clean.

This was the nicest place we have ever stayed at in our travels. The room was spacious, so comfortable, and the staff friendly and willing to help. We highly recommend it.

We were a party of three adults so we specifically requested two beds. When we arrived, the room had one bed and a sofabed. We asked the desk to move us to a room with two beds, but we were told that our request was just that -- a request -- and they had no rooms left with two beds, and we were out-of-luck. Not very hospitable! The map we received was […] useless! We had to call the hotel and tell them our location, so they could direct us to the hotel. The hotel is close to the Plaza and the sights! Hotel was an apartment complex, so there was no maid service (a plus to me because who needs people barging in when they are not welcome). Service was relegated to 'you check in', 'they show you a map' and you find your room. Rooms were semi quiet- you can hear people above you and woman at desk refused to give me top floor. I reserved this hotel for my girlfriend's birthday. Splurging a little on much needed alone time, as we both have kids. I had stayed there before with family and enjoyed the stay so much I decided to go again and share the experience with her. The location is close to a nice "touristy" area. Tons of little shops and great food within a few blocks walking […] distance. We had planned on going out for some local nightlife but really loved the room and hotel in general so much we decided to stay in and enjoy it together. Yeah.. we will be going back again.
