Be careful thinking you will get a non-smoking room even if you book one through hotels.com. I arrived and was placed in a smoking room. After the shock of walking into the stinkpit, I spent a minute in awe that there are still smoking rooms at hotels. Seriously? I was told by the front desk that even though I selected a non-smoking room on hotels.com, […] they still just give out whatever is available. After a fight, I was able to move to a non-smoking room. Look, this hotel has seen better days. But, if you can get a cheap rate and a non-smoking room and all you need is a place to rest your head, it does the trick. I stayed here for two weeks. This hotel is outdated and appears to run on a very low budget. For the most part it was clean and the location is convenient. My key failed 5 times and I had to get new ones. One time it was late and the office was locked. The girl inside refused to anser the door at first then got angry with me for bothering her. This hotel was great! Somehow hotels.com thought 4 people could sleep in a room with 1 king bed. The hotel was so great to bring us a rollaway bed and extra blankets for free. When we first arrived, we found that the room we were in had a broken heater. The staff moved us to another room that was better suited to our needs. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, each with 4 pillows. Our room was fairly quiet. You could hardly hear any street noise. The location was good with many stores and restaurants near […] by. We were only 7 minutes to Lackland Air Force Base, which is convenient for those families going to BMT graduation. "Awesome for families"
Loved the family suite. We had plenty of room for all of the family. Me and my spouse had a king sized bed and the two queen size beds in the opposite room was plenty of room for the kids. 2 separate TV's and the fridge and microwave was an added bonus. For the rate I would highly recommend for families on a budget. The continental breakfast was good […] as well. I enjoyed the staff. My son was having surgery and i need to check in early. The front desk manager was very accommodating with checking me in early and making sure i got a first floor room for my son after surgery. The room was stocked with towels and staff came by everyday to make sure i was good on towels. They even wash down the entrance door of […] the rooms daily. I didnt care for the fitness room but i was able to get a workout. The breakfast was great and its served everyday. You couldnt ask for a better location. Right off the highway. Close to shopping centers and restaurants. Days Inn was the last hotel i stayed in and the staff was horrible. Best Western has won my business. I would welcome a free night stay.
