"Great staff and location"
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel for the birth of my granddaughter. The location right in front of the hospital couldn't have been better. Also, lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not great, but my daughter and I are not big breakfast eaters anyway so that wasn't […] a big factor for us. There was a very strong cigarette smell in the hallways which bothered by daughter who is prone to allergies a little bit, but it wasn't in our room. Overall good stay. Lesa meira

Was not pleased with the loose tile in the bathroom and the big burn hole in the comforter.
"Nice Value"
Our one night stay was very pleasant and a very good overall value. The room was clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The breakfast was very underwhelming even for budget motels. I would stay here again if I am ever in the area.
"Just barely OK - Super 8 in Somerset KY"
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are outdated and seem dingy. Our bathroom door would not close and half of the door knob was missing. The room was a smoking room, which we did not request, and smelled of stale smoke. We had to go buy an air freshener to help with the smell. A plus is that the air conditioning was very cold. […] Not all rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, which we didn't know until after checking in. This was a disadvantage for us as we needed to have cold waters for our weekend. The continental breakfast included toast, doughnuts, various cereals, apples, muffins, juice and coffee. The juice was very watered down. We have stayed at this location before and it seems to be going down hill. It needs to be updated along with new mattresses. We were late in making our reservations for this weekend, therefore we had to settle for whatever rooms we could get. (there were 4 couples in our party). Lesa meira
"PowerCruise 2011 right on the strip"
We booked this hotel for location. We were right on the strip to watch the 2011 Somernites PowerCruise. We were disappointed that our room did not have a refrigerator. Comfortable room. Staff was responsive and continental breakfast was stocked. We did not try to use internet service. We recommend this hotel for inexpensive accomodations and will stay […] again. Lesa meira
"Super 8 Somerset KY"
Got a smoking room but smelled of a whole lot more thank smoke! Very pungent smell but got better after running AC all day; tub lever wouldn't let tub water out; toilet sluggish. Ok in a pinch but probably won't return
I had a business meeting in Somerset. With the 3.5 hour drive the location of the hotel was nice being right off the highway. I only needed the room to sleep, shower and then leave. I arrived @ midnight and left at 7:30am. Everthing was as it should be, no hick-ups. If I travel to Somerset again(and I'm sure I will) I'll stay there at the Super 8.

The room was very disappointing. We only had one bed for 3 people. My daughter slept on the chair. The room was very badly odor with cigarette smoke. The bathroom tub was dirty. The continnental breakfast was slim choice. Good thing we only stayed one night. I'll know not to stay there again.

"OK for the money"
About what you would expect for the money. We have stayed at other Motel 8's which had a better continental breakfast. The stairs are rather steep if you are on the second floor.
"Needs Improvement"
The Hotel clerk said a guest was arrested for having a meth lab in one of their rooms. I guess that is what caused the lingering odor that was very unpleasant.
