"Older hotel"
The hotel was dated and had stained carpets, bedspreads etc. It was clean and was inexpensive and had a nice dog walking area. It was near the highway and restaurants.
"Quick overnight to be close to events."
Nice room for an extended stay. We only stayed one night so can't speak to housekeeping. Ordered a non-smoking room but hallway had a strong smoke order. Sunday morning neighbor was playing music too loud. It serve it;s purpose as we had events in the area and it was a cheap convenient place to stay.
"woke up with a big bug bite!"
Everything looked clean enough, and no obvious signs of bed bugs under the mattress, but I woke up with a huge bug bite/welt on my torso, after a night of tossing on the very, very hard mattress. I'm going to wash everything, just in case! No shampoo/conditioner in the room, and I had to request blow dryer, and pick it up at front desk. The first room […] I was assigned to had an old smoke smell, even though it was non-smoking. The clerk was happy to assign me to a new room. The hotel was very close to a huge XXX establishment. "Extended Stayed Hotel-Hartford"
The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, location was nice and quiet. I would stay again.

Found this hotel to be very nice and centrally located near both grocery and many retail stores. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with clean crisp sheets and pillowcases. Staff was polite and delivered me extra pillows on request. I will definitely stay here again. You cannot beat the price for the comfort and cleanliness!
"Dirty Room"
The hotel was a bit run down. When I arrived after having confirmed a non smoking room, I was told none were available. The room I ened up in was run down, smelly and well worn.

NO SHAMPOO IN ROOM. COMPUTER WASN'T WORKING AT CHECK OUT-NO RECEIPT. WAS TOLD I WOULD GET IN E-MAIL. NEVER GOT!

Easy access for my wheelchair bound husband. The staff was wonderful. Would have liked internet but charge was to much for one night
"Nice concept - poor example"
In theory ESA is a decent, affordable place for a longer term stay. It has a kitchenette with a stove, sink and fridge. THIS location has a remodeled exterior but an old, tired interior. The place smells bad, really bad - like mothballs in the room and something worse in the stairwell. The kitchen needed repair - damaged cupboards, battered counter, […] and ancient cookware. The bed was uncomfortable with an old lumpy mattress, a lumpy pad, scratchy sheets and overstuffed, lumpy poly pillows. The carpet was disgusting. The 1990 era TV has cable but no aux input for vcr or dvd. I recommend spending your money at a newer place. There are plenty to choose from in the area. Lesa meira

Perhaps this location is ok for those who are staying for an extended period of time, and I knew there were few amenities, but the place just didn't feel right ... no ice machine; instead ice cubes in the refrigerator in the room (is this healthy?) ... no Internet access as advertised in the listing (not free access anyway).
