They were remodelling the lobby at the time of our visit but it didn't really bother us. I would recommend it and stay there again!

Hótelið er frábærlega staðsett, mjög miðsvæðis, stutt í Empire state, Times square og allt það helsta. Einnig stutt í lestarstöð og subway. Hótelið er aðeins farið að eldast og sést það á því en það er ekkert sem kemur að sök, miðað við verðið á gistingunni. Morgunmaturinn er ágætur á amerískan mælikvarða. Gott verð, frábær staðsenting og þjónustulund afgreiðslunnar til fyrirmyndar. Herbergið var í lagi og baðherbergið mjög fínt. Við fengum ekki herbergi með útsýni, en það skipti engu máli. We have just returned from a 4 night stay in New York. The hotel is perfectly placed to see all the main attractions and the subway is very close to take you further afield if you wish. The hotel is not mega modern and so looks a little tired but everywhere is clean. The room was spotless and attended to daily. The staff are very helpful, and rushed […] off their feet as the hotel always seemed to have a reception full of people. Breakfast is basic but the local area is full of choices from having a quick bagel to a full breakfast, and my was it full. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting somewhere to rest after a full day sight seeing. If you are wanting 5 star luxury, then you should go elsewhere and pay the price. There is only one elevator and with a full house of guests and baggage and Porters, things were chaotic and there were long waits for the elevators. Breakfast is in a narrow little passage way at the side of the reception and the temperature was volcanic meaning a change of clothes before leaving the hotel. The hotel is very central and easy walking […] of Times Square, and some other attractions. Beds were very comfortable and are the winning item in the hotel. "Affordable location, close to Penn Station/Subway"
Location, location, location - this is the most important point of this Hotel. It is close to Penn Station and some 30 yards from Subway, besides being in the hearth of Manhattan. 32nd St is a Korean area, with many restaurants and ethnic markets making late meals a breeze. Room itself is small, with the basics (double bed had access by one of the sides […] only). Complimentary breakfast and Internet were good surprises as well as a nice staff. Elevator is small for the number of rooms, so expect delays when needing it. Complimentary tea and coffee, available at 2nd floor is also helpful if you want to stay inside your room longer. Me and my husband stayed at this hotel because it was near time square and it was in Manhattan and we wanted to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was friendly and the room seemed very clean and tidy. THere's free wifi, as well. However, the bathroom was clogged, the temperature was always cold and they could never fix the heater. "Small but worth the money for the location"
We choose this hotel mainly on price and location. It was in walking distance to all major attractions. The hotel is on the same block as the empire state building!! We walked everywhere!!! Very safe location and our room was clean! The lobby and cafe (for breakfast) is small. Free breakfast was just ok, didn't offer much but it was good quick for us. […] As we didn't want to spend our time eating.... I read many reviews for this hotel and the major issues about only one elevotor really wasn't a problem for us. The heat in our room was a tad warm but we opened our window when we first got there and by the time we came back later that evening it was fine. Also about 4 or 5 doors down there was a ice cream shop called Pinkberry... YUMMY!! Highly recommand stopping for a late night snack!! Overall I was pleased with our stay here and would book again. "Great for couples on a short city break"
The room was cleaned daily and the location of the hotel made for good access to Macy's, Time Square and the Empire State building. Central Park is a good walk or taxi journey away, and the Financial District even further, but taxis always seemed to be on hand outside. The major downside to the hotel is the one lift, which is always in use and quite […] busy, making it a pain at times being on the upper floors. The breakfast wasn't really up to much, but alternative places to dine weren't far away so it wasn't too much of a problem. "Hotel Freezer"
Located in China town, it had 12flrs & 1 elevator. They room was cold & uncomfortable our entire stay. The room had a thermastat but it didn't matter because, they controlled it. "Cheap with the HEAT!!!"
Located in China town, 12flrs & 1 elevator. The room was small with a closet that contained a safe. I reserved a queen size bed for 2. The bathroom had 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash rag. I guess we were suppose to share the towels. My husband had an extra towel from home. I asked the maid for an extra blanket because it was so cold in the […] room. the theramstat in the room was a joke!!!! They were controlling the heat which was non. I went for this hotel as it had good reviews & a good price. Its in a good area but very busy and the street is known as Korea Road. The subway is just up the road which was handy. I booked a double & twin, the double was very small but refurbished so nicely fitted out. Lots of wardrobe & drawer space but the room was next to the outside aircon units […] so noisy. The twin was much bigger but lacked drawer space and had not been refurbished so a bit tired, the bathroom was big. The bar/lounge on the 2nd floor was decorated nicely & served tea/coffee all day (they serve English breakfast tea and other herbal teas), but occasionally was told that it was booked for private parties so couldn't enter. Piano music was played all day and of an evening much livelier music, so no peace and quiet at any time. The lighting in the evening was minimal so you couldn't read if you wanted too. Service was good and food not bad.The breakfast room attached to the hotel was a let down. I know its not often you get breakfast included so thought this was a bonus but the food was the same everyday and quite often you couldn't get in there anyway. The seats were dirty and I didn't feeling comfortable eating in there. Also the variety of tea was minimal just Litpon. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would I stay there again, probably not, wasn't over keen on the area and the lack of a quiet area after a hard day sightseeing was missed. Lesa meiraÓsvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

The hotel is central and well placed for reaching the sights on foot or by subway. Staff very helpful and obliging.
