room and staff were great. The breakfast was not, not much offered and not much space when the hotel is fuller.Location is very convenient for restaurants, etc, but the construction in the area......
"Comfortable stay"
We were looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay for the night and the Comfort Inn was just that. The first room we got didn't seem very good, but the receptionist was knocking on our door to fix the problem before we even sat down on the bed. The second room was exactly what we expected. "The Comfort Inn University - Convenience"
The Comfort Inn University is close to the University at Buffalo, within a mile. The Comfort Inn has small rooms, but clean, serves a nice hot breakfast and the service staff was friendly. I will definetly come back again.

This hotel continues to provide top notch service for budget travelers. The hot breakfast each morning, the treadmill and elliptical equipment in the pool area, and the hospitality of the front desk were all greatly appreciated. "Comfort inn Amherst University"
Bathtubs with holes in it that were patched up with plastic liners. There is always hot water but its not very warm Smells like rooms were scented to smell good just before i walked in, why. but Very nice and welcoming staff! No Bedbugs! Same rate every time, even midnight walkins! Free wallstreet journal Good coffee

Cleaning ladies around the breakfast table were cursing and snickering. Very unprofessional. Nice front desk help though.

Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, the room was not so good. The mattress was very uncomfortable. We discovered it was upside down after our 1st night. Smoke entered our non-smoking room from the vent in the bathroom. Good price doesn't translate into good value.

The room was wonderful and clean, and all staff very helpful and friendly. A small problem with the TV, not their fault, brought several visits to our room to try to correct it and apologies. Nice experience.

"Slightly costlier than what you pay for"
Our room was alloted to someone else. took some time for check in. My friend's family and ours got rooms at far corners of the lobby. The room was small. Less space for two to move around. Smoke smell was all over. Breakfast counter was too crowded and often had to wait in a queue. Pool is tiny. I thought it should be better than 1 star hotels near […] niagara falls. "Lond drive"
Bed was great! the hotel is what you think a 2 star would be. It was clean and new. I would and will stay here again. Try the apple waffles.

Needed a spot that was kid-friendly which to me includes a pool and a continental breakfast! The pool was small, but suited us fine. The room was clean, smoke-free as expected and the staff was extremely friendly. I have to admit, we are low-maintenance travelers, but dirty is not for me...the bathrooms were clean and the cleaning staff checked on us […] in the halls when they saw our do not disturb sign was up. Hotel is close to highway access and walking distance to a few restaurants. Staff always went out of their way to be kind and attentive. Would stay there again. "Comfort Inn Amherst NY"
Decent value, clean and free continental breakfast. Located across from University at Buffalo. Towels a little thin, king bed comfy. Can hear hall and ajoining room door and plumbing noise.

We enjoyed our stay no issues it was close to where we wanted to be. Hotel was fine and convient. Would stay there again.

It was not very clean. The bathrooms were DIRTY. Stayed at other Comfort Inns and they were much better. It was expensive for what we got.

I found the facility to be ok, would have a bit more lighting in bathroom (helps with shaving) and being one of the last (a smoking room) to hold onto the habit.
