Einangrum milli herbergja og hæða er hinsvegar algjör hörmung. Hvert fótspor á hæðinni fyrir ofan glumdi niður til okkar (fer væntanlega mikið eftir skóbúnaði þess sem þar dvelur). Einnig heyrist of mikið á milli herberga og líka fyrir utan herbergið. Við vorum óheppin þar sem það voru einvherjir á fylleríi með tilheyrandi hávaða og látum. Sorglegt þar sem hótelið' er sjálft mjög fínt og staðsetningin virkilega góð. ég mæli því með þessu fyrir hvern þann sem er tilbúinn að taka sjénsinn á því hverjir nágrannar hans verða.

Hótelið er vel staðsett og hótelgarður er nýmóðins og í sérklassa, notalegt að sitja úti við opinn eld á kvöldin. Starfsfólk sérlega bóngótt og elskulegt, og allir sérlega kurteisir svo eftir verður tekið. Innifalið í verði eru frjáls afnot af stórri líkamsræktarstöð með 25m sundlaug handan götunnar. Við vorum að æfa fyrir maraþon núna í águst og hentaði þetta því vel. Í alla staði frábært hótel.

"Good for a low-maintenance individual"
I was disappointed that there was no iron/ironing board in the room. The front desk let me borrow theirs, but the iron leaked all over my business clothes. Also, there's no elevator in this place! Decent place to crash for an early am flight. Shuttle starts at 4 am, close to airport. There's one 24-hour restaurant a few blocks walk away, otherwise just other hotels and a couple businesses. "Road Trip to Oregon & Seattle!"
The hotel is located near the Cascades shopping center and the Maxx. It is an easy walk or drive to either. The hotel is clean and does offer self service laundry service. They do have breakfast - but I'm not a breakfast eater so I dont know how it was. The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. The room does have a one cup coffee maker which […] was great. I would absolutely stay there again and again. The parking is safe and had no problems leaving my car unattended all day, The shopping center offers a Target, Red Robin, Starbucks, Sushi, Supercuts, Ikea and so much more so if you are in need of anything you can certainly get it, As for the Maxx - the most easiest system ever to use. Takes about 30 minutes to get to downtown Portland and it is very safe and clean. The hotel shuttle which runs 24 hr. service will drop you off and pick you up if you arent up for walking to and from. I had a non smoking room - they do offer smoking rooms but I never smelled smoke in my room or the hallway. They also do allow pets but again the room was quite clean and I never had any pet odor or dandor in my room. The staff was great and the sheets and towels were replaced daily. If you are going to stay here, don't expect a fancy room with amazing amenities. Its your standard Motel style rooms. However, the staff there are suuuper awesome. I was there for an audition and had a lot of special requests and they accommodated ALL of them. The shuttle, although often taking a while to arrive, will take you to many places and pick […] you right up at the front, instead of asking you to go to a special meeting point. They shuttle drivers are friendly and helpful. The front desk is great and always cheerful and helpful. "Great Deal and Very Clean and Quiet!"
Great deal! No ambiance but great if you just need a place to sleep. SUPER QUIET! There was a baby next door (my nephew) and I couldn't hear him cry at all!! VERY CLEAN! VERY GOOD SERVICE! "good pet friedly hotel"
the staff was very helpful with information on direction. The price was good, easy access to airport, good places to eat close by, easy on and off to freeway. We had a dog and there was good area for them. I have a big pick up and parking was good. The breakfast was not as fancy as some but I found it enough, and the coffee and tea bar was open 24 hrs. I […] will stay there again if the need comes up . Most of the other motels had a weight limit on the dogs (25lbs.) mine was 35 and they would not budge. This hotel isn't the nicest, but for the price it was all we needed. Nothing fancy, and a bit dated. Great location next to Airport and Ikea shopping. The rooms are inexpensive, clean, and large. The service is great, including free shuttle service to and from airport and to the local shopping area/train station. "our stay at super 8"
This is a great place to stay if you are on a lay over at the airport for the night. The shuttledrivers are very nice as well as the front desk people. If you are a disabled person there are no elevators to the floors that I saw so this might not be for you. "Very disappointed..."
The free parking that you advertised was not free. The reason I chose this hotel was for the free parking and it was the least expensive. The room was on the first floor and smelled musty. "Great motel near the airport"
The bed was a little too firm, so docked for comfort. Airport transport took both of us to the airport and after I helped my parent get through security, I returned to the motel for 3 more hours of sleep before breakfast and driving home. Staff couldn't have been nicer to us. Prime service in a budget motel. Breakfast was quite good too- even though […] the only cold cereal was Raisin Bran. I travel all over oregon/Wahingtion on business and have stayed at a few super 8 hotels and this is by far the worst. The staff seemed like they lived in the hotel, the room reeked of smoke even though I was told it was non-smoking. The breakfast they refer to as (super) concists of English muffin and butter and apple juice. I wouldnt recommed this […] hotel to anyone specially for the price. "A mixed bag"
The Super 8 Motel Portland Airport is passable if you're only going to be there for a night or maybe two. The furnishings and decor are basic. There is no elevator (as best as I could see) so you have to haul your luggage up/down a half-flight of stairs. The desk clerk was clearly inexperienced and flustered by a minor registration glitch; since she […] was the only one on duty, she had to call a central office for assistance, so the info she needed took 5 min instead of 30 seconds. There's only one restaurant in the area -- diner fare, so plan on nothing fancy (though they do have an exceptional assortment of desserts). The shuttle may take 15 min to pick you up.
