"served its purpose"
Our stay was a served its purpose stay only. It was not a place we will intend to stay again. We had softball tournaments in the town with this hotel and there were no other hotels open during this busy weekend. The air conditioning in the room did not cool the room, staff at the front desk housed their children with them in the backroom, NO airconditioning […] in the lobby area, box fan sat in the window blowing on the desk clerks, FIRST bad impression upon check in, lights over vanity did not work. "Filthy"
The room was absolutely horrible. The door was nasty iwth stains and chiiped paint. The carpet was just as filthy with missing patches and filled with a stell mold, smoky order. The toilet didnt look as if it had been cleaned. It actually had some sort of liquid substance still standing on the seat. The shower curtain was ripped and looked as if it […] had been there as far back as the 60's. The heater didnt work and we had to wait about an hour for one of the hotel staff to come and fix it. The temperature that night wa around 45 degrees. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone of my friends or enemies. The only types of people this place attracts is seedy and shady ladies of the night and their customers...ironically one of them was checking in with cash ahead of me...disheiveld hair, smelling of narcotics and all. This place is the absolute worse. I would have went elsewhere but it was 30 minutes outsside of Greenville NC and we arrived after ten pm and my kids were exhausted. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Dont let the cheap price fool you into thinking you are getting a great deal. Matter of fact, even after we showered the next morning, we still felt dirty and grimmy ... the room was just that horrific!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lesa meiraÓsvikin umsögn gests á Hotels.com

The rooms need to be updated badly. The tile is coming loose in the bathrooms the overall rooms need to be updated and painted the door locks work poorly almost couldn't get out of the room.
