"My favorite old standby..."
My family lives in Frederick. The Red Horse is a wonderfully comfortable place to stay. Wonderful refrig and microwave in room, and great staff. I will always return to the Red Horse. The restaurant next door is excellent. Try the whiskey sour -- it's their signature cocktail.

"Stay on New Year's Eve"
My wife and I stayed at the Inn-Red Horse because we were attending a New Year's Eve Party at a nearby restaurant. We experienced no problems. The Inn was clean and in good condition and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and polite. We would stay there again.
"A regular at Comfort Inn"
Fantastic Hotel in a convienent location. I have stayed here several times already and finally tried their breakfast buffet. The buffet made and excedded expectations. At this point, will not stay anywhere else but here.
"NOT PET FRIENDLY"
We booked the hotel and as we arrived we were told we could not stay with our dog. When we booked, we asked the operator several times to confirm it was a pet friendly hotel and she said it was. We were fleeting from hurricane Irene and had to find another hotel during the storm with two terrified children... they could have let us stay...

Reasonable price, very good location, close to restaurants and shopping. We Stopped on the way to D.C. to break up the trip. We did not find the Front Desk person to be very helpful when ask the hours of Historical District businesses. "Very Convienent"
Hotel is located right off of Route 15. Easy access to I-70 and I-270. Cannot comment on breakfast. Although they offer it I didn't use it. My wife and I use this hotel every time we go to Frederick. One of the very few hotels that still offer smoking rooms. They offer fresh baked cookies in the morning and coffee all of the time. Great deal for the […] price. Lesa meira
"Comfort Inn Red Horse"
Lots to do around hotel: shop, eat, movies. Make sure you make reservations to eat if your there on a Saturday night. Tried 3 differant places at about 7pm wait times ranged from 40 min. to 1hr 50min. We chose the Japanese steak house (only about 20 minute wait). Other than that nice hotel free breakfast was great Oh' loved thier coffe. Never thought […] I complain about room heater-A/c but it was a little on the loud side but still a great place to sleep. "Comfortable choice in a convenient location"
This hotel was well-priced, convenient to all local services and sights, comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Free wi-fi signal was fairly good, and open to multiple devices. Free breakfast was OK. Avoid the instant scrambled eggs, but don't miss the make-your-own waffle option. Coffee lovers should take the 1/4 mile trip down […] Route 40 to the local Starbucks. It is very convenient to NCI Frederick (Fort Detrick). The AC was noisy. The air quality was not good.
"Not as good as last time"
When my husband and I visit Frederick, we always stay with this hotel. Highlights are the security and location. This time when we stayed, the refridgerator had broken or missing knobs and our bathroom floor was "sticky". Small infractions. However, we will stay here once again on our next visit. Highly recommended.
