Ákaflega þægilegt hótel til að hvíla sig milli flugferða á Schiphol-flugvelli: fastar rútuferðir af vellinum á hótelið, rólegt, snyrtilegt umhverfi, þægileg rúm og gott baðherbergi. Veitingastaðurinn Nadar var afbragðsgóður og morgunverðarhlaðborðið afar gott. Ég fer hiklaust hingað aftur ef ég þarf að millilenda í Amsterdam.

Amsterdam kom mér svo rosalega á óvart að það hálfa væri nóg. Hótelið er staðsett á albeta stað bæjarins. Held að ekkert hótel sé betur staðsett. Við vorum rosalega ánægð og mæli ég alveg rosalgea með bæði Amsterdam og hótelinu

Rétt eins og venjulega í Evrópu og þá sérstaklega Amsterdam, þá eru herbergin lítil. En þau eru tandurhrein og mjög kósý. Ég hef ferðast til Amsterdam yfir 50 sinnum og get sagt af þekkingu, að betri staðsetningu færðu varla. Það er mjög vont að taka keigubíla í Amster og þarna þarftu þess ekki. Þú tekur lestina frá flugstöðinni niður á Amsterdam central station. Þar gengur þú út og yfir síkið og götuna á vinstri hönd og ert kominn. Ekkert töskuvesen um alla borg, sem er svo sannarlega þess virði að losna við. Góð þjónusta á hótelinu, þrifið daglega, ig bara í alla staði prýðilegasta hótel

I had a really good weekend with my wife and friends at Krasnapolsky as usual. I would rather pay a little bit more for that kind of class and location than other 3 star hotels down town. I have stayed in lot of hotels in Amsterdam but since I picked Krasnapolsky I does not think about others if it is available

"Nice Hotel with funny inconveniences in room"
Wonderful location and wonderful staff. Our room had funny quirks that made it unpleasant-- Bathroom light switch on the wrong side of the door, a wall light that blocked walking around the bed, no hooks or shelves in the bathroom, inadequate lights in room to read--got the picture.

The hotel is a very attractive building and the staff are extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. The decor in the room was in need of updating and the bathroom was small and very dark (one dim light and a lot of dark grey tiles). "Malie Hotel - must do better"
Supposedly this is one of the better hotels in Utrecht The lobby looks nine, in fact it is by far the most agreeable part of the hotel. At check-in I was informed that breakfast on Sunday morning would take place in two shifts and that I needed to choose a time slot... the argument was that the hotel was almost full and the breakfast room lacked capacity. […] I still don't understand why this is necessary, you can only get a breakfast buffet, so surely there should be sufficient customer circulation for anybody not to have to wait more than a few minutes? The room had a terrible odour, and the bathroom deco was fairly spartan and straight out of the seventies. Hallways also need upgrading. The room was relatively cheap, but I'd argue that is probably more to do with the fact that Utrecht doesn't pull that many tourists. Lesa meira
"not to good of experience"
i was put in the basement (souterain) with the breakfast area right above my room. so as of 6AM there was a constant noise of people walking, furniture movements .....

Convenient location within walking distance to the centre and in a good neighborhood. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Downsides: no tea/coffee facilities in rooms. No dedicated parking - you have to find space on the street and pay via meter. Overall good value for money
"Sandton Malie a 4 star? Not really"
It feels more like a Blackpool B&B then a 4 star. Rooms look tired with old chipped and worn out furniture. Bed are t a sheet of foam with no support whatsoever, towels in the bathroom had holes and the corridors carpet could do with a deep clean to get rid of the smell We left after seeing the room and went around the corner to another nearby hotel […] that is truly 4 star. . "Good overall"
As mentioned by others, hotel is not in downtown. Hotel personnel were uniformly friendly and helpful. Our room had a small balcony that ran along the back of about 4 consecutive rooms with large potted plants separating the balcony. The balcony overlooked a garden. It seemed quite nice, however the balcony was used by smokers so the smoke would inevitably […] drift into our room forcing us to close the door and use the airconditioning. The air conditioning was of medium volume and was run on high all night and we still found the room warm. I did like the hotel overall, but just want to let you know of these specific observations. "wat zijn vier sterren eigenlijk"
Het hotel is op zich niks mis mee. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Bij ontbijtbuffet zou dat beter kunnen. Uitchecken vlot en goed ondanks drukte. Hotel volgeboekt en toch rustig. Echter...waarom vier sterren op een site ? de standaard kamer is klein en geeft weggestopt gevoel. Geen andere items die een hotel vier sterren maken ipv 2. Item wat men kan veranderen […] : lampje bij spiegel. Niet handig om in eigen schaduw voor spiegel te staan. Lesa meira

L'hotel di per sè avrebbe delle potenzialità che non sono affatto sfruttate. Tutto ha un'aria un po' trasandata. Le camere standart dono davvero piccole e il bagno minuscolo, da far fatica a entrare. Le ragazze alla reception sono gentili ma non parlano bene l'inglese nè altre lingue. La posizione è buona e tranquilla. Klassegebouw, vriendelijk personeel, gezellig terras voor in de zomer. Ligt in een rustige wijk van Utrecht, op 15 minuutjes te voet van het centrum.

"Toe aan een renovatie"
Goed hotel op mooie locatie, maar teveel slijtage en achterstallig onderhoud: versleten tapijt op de trappen, scheuren in de lakens (!), douchekop en douchestang defect, douchescherm functioneert niet waardoor veel water in de badkamer, kraan wastafel defect etc. En waarom in godsnaam een halve deur tussen badkamer en slaapkamer, met een ruimte van […] 1/2 meter aan de onderkant? "Maliehotel, schönes Haus in ruhiger Zentrallage"
Sehr schön renovierter Altbau in attraktiver Wohngegend, ca. 10 min Gehweg zum Zentrum. Sehr freundliches Personal, geräumige Zimmer gehobenen Standards, sehr sauber.

Das Hotel ist sehr privat und hat eine schöne Lobby mit Bibliothek, was ihr eine Art Kaminzimmeratmosphäre gibt. Die Zimmer sind klein, sehr klein mitunter, und für Leute mit Fahrstuhlphobie: Der Fahrstuhl dockt auf den Etagen nicht immer passgenau an und muss dann ,nachjustieren' (meine Begleitung hat eine kleine Fahrstuhlphobie und fand diese Schaukelbewegungen, […] so wenig ich sie überhaupt wahrgenommen habe, nicht ganz angenehm). Das einzige, was mich ein wenig gestört hat: In einem Hotel mit vier Sternen sollten die Handtücher keine Zwei-Euro-Stück großen Löcher aufweisen. Das traf nicht auf alle, sondern nur auf zwei Handtücher zu, aber das dürfte nicht sein, finde ich. Sonst alles schön, sauber, gutes Frühstück, freundliches Personal. Lesa meira

"Perfect place for a visit in Utrecht"
The hotel is centrally located, some 15 min walk to the downtown area and I guess 20 min to the station. Parking is available in the streets, and that is what I used. The hotel has free WiFi with excellent download but poor upload. Staff is very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure trips (mine was a business trip), although […] I would not say it is a 4 star hotel, most probably a good 3-star hotel... Lesa meira

Stayed at the hotel 9-12. of june 2011. Very satisfied with the hotel. Clean, quiet and nice big rooms. And easy to take the buss to the city center or the university (just a few minutes to both).

Nice, convenient hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. Location a couple of km. from the city centre. However the hotel rents out bicicles, which is a very good investment.

"Prima hotel vlak bij het centrum van Utrecht"
Utrecht kent eigenlijk maar weinig hotels en dan loop je de kans om een voor de hand liggende keuze te maken, bv vlak bij het station. Deze keer boekten wij in het Malie hotel en dat is ons prima bevallen. De overnachtingsprijs is bescheiden, en daarvoor krijg je een uitstekende kamer, vaak met balcon of zitje buiten. Bovendien is er een leuke tuin, […] Daarmee ziet het er allemaal zeer verzorgd uit. Er zijn ook een paar min punten, zoals het feit dat kamers enigszins gedateerd zijn (sanitair), en dat het ontbijt "basic" te noemen is. Maar mijn oordeel is toch "uitstekend" omdat je voor de prijs meer krijgt dan mag worden verwacht. De sfeer van het hotel en de rustige ligging in de stad,l vlak bij een zeer frequent bediende bushalte, zijn grote pluspunten. Ook de service is zeer goed. Lesa meira
