I have never been to Montreal, first trip ever and could not have asked for a better experience with this hotel...! Rooms are beautiful! Every convenience you need right there! Staff was awesome, friendly, very helpful.... Good work and I will return no questions asked, booking at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain!

This hotel is right in the middle of downtown. Tons of shops, restaurants, bars, etc.. within 2 blocks. If you are attending an event at the Bell Centre its right next door. The only minor complaint we had was the heat in our room. We like a cool room to sleep in but no matter what we set the thermostat at the temp never dropped below 72. Funny thing […] was we over heard some people who were on our floor complain their room was too cold. Like I said that is just a minor complaint. I was very pleased with Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain. This was my 4th trip to Montreal an was by far the best. I wanted to take my brother up for the weekend for his first Montreal experience an wanted to stay at one of the nicer hotels. The Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain is a grade A resort in my book. Everything you want,need, and then […] some. It was in the perfect location, rooms were awesome, nice pool an jacuzzi. The staff went beyond the need to show us were to go an how to get there. Good experience overall, exc for customer service OK but will not go the extrastep to help client. The parking experience was awful costly and was not able to get out the parking lot as both ticket machine did not work well. Parking attendant not proactive...not able to help; even when paid cash did not give back the money....as she did not have any […] change! Pricely $25 per day! Lesa meira

Overall a very good experience. The Marriot was easy to find upon arrival and was presented very well. Room was clean and quite comfortable. Subway was easy to access, making getting around no problem. Walking to St. Catherines or other streets also was easy and enjoyable as there is a large park and beautiful old buildings adjacent. Staff were a little […] annoying with knocking on my door both mornings coming to clean. There was no filter for making coffee and I never received a newspaper even though I requested one. We had problems with extreme noise from the room next to ours during the stay. All night long visitors were coming and knocking on the door. They appeared 16 to 20 years old. We reported this at checkout.

One of the nicest hotels I've been at You would think its actually 5 stars not 4 it's amazing and the people working there were very helpful and nice. The room was comfy and clean and the hotel is very fancy

I guess because it was New Year's Eve there was a action at the hotel, saw some people getting arrested and a young couple on our floor arguing at 3 am about a dozen police officers in front of my door at 3 am but despite everything it was a decent stay, room was small but clean and tidy, bathrooms are extremely small

The hotel is great, service was fantastic, the rooms are very clean. The train station and the Bell centre are very close to the hotel, however, there are no restaurants near the hotel. We had a great time here at this hotel. We did not realize that this hotel is in the heart of the downtown core. Because it was December, it was very cold, and the convenience of having the underground access to the malls and the central station was fantastic. The comfort of the bed was great, and the room was spectacular minus the small washroom. I […] had gotten the deluxe package which included the breakfast and h'ordevuers but I was a little disappointed that I had to continue to go to the front desk to get my coupon that I was entitled to free breakfast and snacks. The hot breakfast was fabulous and the room service were very nice. The staff were friendly the entire time. The amentities were terrific such as the pool and hot tub and the gym, didn't do the spa, but I would stay here again definitely. The Marriott chain never seems to disappoint. Lesa meira

Our stay at the Chateau Champlain was fantastic. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the charming doorman, to the warm and inviting lobby, I knew we had arrived at a special place. That feeling was enhanced by the helpful and accommodating front desk. Everyone was polite, friendly and smiling. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern […] with a view from the 18th floor looking out over the nearby cathedral and skyline that was simply breathtaking. Our rooms were spotlessly cleaned each day by an invisible workforce. Every meal we had, whether it was breakfast or dinner, were all well prepared and tasty. The bar proved to be a great place to relax and have a great cocktail. We used the spa services and the pool. Both were excellent. This hotel is convenient to the nearby shopping and other great restaurants and within walking distance to the marvelous "Old Port" district. A very special kudos is due the concierge, Laurie, for making this a unique and memorable experience! I would not hesitate to go there again! Lesa meira

Great hotel - seemed pretty clean. There is no microwave, which would be an asset. Otherwise it was roomy and comfortable.

The staff at the concierge desk are amazing and go over the top to accomadate. The hotel is in a great location for walking to many sites. The hotel rooms are very clean but slightly on the older side.

We were in town for a trade show at Place Bonaventure. This hotel was literally a few minutes away in walking distance. It was also walking distance to shopping, restaurants, etc. The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was very informative, nice, patient and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others staying in downtown Montreal.

unimpressed by the fact that a member of staff could not send a Fax for me and yet I was charged for it (and had to ask another staff person to re-send) The restaurant menu range and food is a bit disappointing and too expensive for what they offer - I ate out after one night.

Overall I am very satisfied with the hotel for what I paid for. Bathroom was bit small but room was reasonably large and well maintained. Good location, good hospitality, and good view from the room.

It has no parking and for everytime leaving and comaing to the hotel you should pay 22$. Breakfast is 25$ for each one. I did not like the qualilty of food in the Restaurant .

Staff were very friendly and helpful but the room and bathroom was a bit tired - need updating, minibar was locked (!), gym is good, bar nice and busy - didn't tr4y restaurant so can't comment. Wake-up call didn't happen but I was time-zone confused enough to be awake early anyway - reception fast and helpful otherwise.

This hotel is centrally located in downtown Monteal 1 block from the VIA Canada Train Station, metro, and bus lines. It really was so perfect for us in commuting to Quebec for 4 nights by travelling the VIA Canada Train. The Concierge were so nice and patient with us at all times. Very accomodating and so informative in helping us to get around here […] and there. We never had to use a taxi cab and we were able to walk everywhere. The Old Port of Monteal was so close. Really, its a great hotel because everything is very close , yet, when its time to go back to your room you really never hear any outside noises. Truly a very nice place to stay in Montreal. If you have a chance try to go to St. Josephs Oratory. By bus its only 10-15 min away! The famous Notre Dame Cathedral is a 10 min walk from the Hotel. Lesa meira
