All very clean, the breakfast varied and good and the staff very helpful day and night. The location was the compromise I aimed for, between the location of my meetings and the city centre, with more or less half-an-hour's walk either way.

You could easily walk to the Spanish steps (25 minutes), colleseum (10 minutes) and other sights. The lady in the breakfast room is outstanding. The double rooms are very small but that is to be expected in the center of Rome. If you are lucky and get a 3 bed room for 2 people, then it is very spacious. Francesco will bend over backwards to make your stay a good one and so will the rest of the staff. Breakfast iis very good and plenty of it and the lady that serves is a angel on earth. Restaurants and cafes are very expensive in the neighborhood but either a 8 euro taxi ride or the metro to a neighborhood called Trastivera will get you to where the Romans eat, drink and play. The food is excellent and you can easilly get a meal for two with a bottle of wine for about 21 euros Ristorante Ivo is great, get there early as there is a line to get in but well worhj it. There is a large cheap supermasrket in the square in the basement on the way to Termini. The smaller markets are 3-4 times more expensive for water and other stuff is also much cheaper then at the various mini markets.. All in all we were very pleased with the Hotel Amalfi and will stay there again.

Regardless, the hotel receptionist went out of his way to accommodate us and had a room prepared for us as a priority and even had us upgraded to a superior accommodation to the one we had paid for. Excellent service.

Take the express train from the airport to Roma Termini and the hotel is a mere 3-4 min walk to the top of via Cavour. Most main sites 20 min walk from there.

The hotel staff was abrupt and not helpful at all. The room was start and very dated. My shower was the same size a my shower in my RV. The hotel lost my laundry asked me to walk to a cab stand in the rain upon departure rather than the doorman hailing one for us. Nice hotel...quaint..and good service. The breakfast included in the room rate was convenient and good. The room was very small but that was true in 3 of the 4 hotels we stayed in over our 12 day tour of Europe. We had a large beautiful balcony off our room where we spent one warm sunny afternoon. "Great Place to Stay!"
The Hotel Delle Nazioni was great! It's not a fancy hotel, but it is everything you're looking for when traveling to Europe. It's affordable, very clean, each room has their own bathroom, in a great location (very close to both the Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain) and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They clean the room each day which is nice […] too. There is also a taxi stand right outside which is quite convenient as well. We stayed there the second week of March so it was nice and cool, but they did mention there was not any AC. It was not a problem for us, but may be so if you were to travel there in the summer months. "Very inviting hotel in the heart of Rome."
I stayed at this hotel during a recent holiday with my 2 older children (11, 17) and my young world travelling brother (22). Frankly, I loved this hotel. It is centrally located in the heart of Rome, clean, safe and has very accomodating and friendly staff. The ammenities are a bit older and not quite as up to date as I was expecting, but honestly the […] hotel was clean and very charming. Our room was always immaculate when we arrived back weary from walking all day (believe me travelling with a bunch of kids is chaotic!) I paid for the daily breakfast - and this worked very well for a bunch of hungry american kids. Everything was very fresh and plentiful. I would definately stay here again. Really liked this Hotel for a short break. The Hotel was less than 50 mts from the Trevi Fountain.. so within easy walking distance of pretty well all the main sites . The staff were really friendly . The rooms were fine .. not too small which you sometimes find in mid range city centre hotels and with decent bathrooms and beautifully maintained ... "Great hotel ideally located for the attractions"
Staff all spoke English and were very helpful. We had a Junior Suite which was great, but the dustbin men do like to make a proper racket outside in the early mornings which was frustrating. The hotel's located thirty seconds away from the Trevi Fountain and we were able to walk everywhere else too - Colloseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Navona Square, […] etc..All in all, a good place to stay and I'd go there again. We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed everything about our stay at this hotel. The hotel amenities are lovely, but the staff-particularly the front desk personnel- made our stay exceptional. They booked a car and guide for us and we used the same service for our last morning and Rome culminating in transportation to Civitavecchia. Whilst we were […] dithering about dinner plans on our last evening, the concierge suggested "Alfredo's." He booked a table and called a cab and the evening turned out beautifully! We stayed in the junior suite which was lovely, but it is just off the main road so can be quite noisy which I guess is fine in winter with the windows & shutters closed but must be quite noisy in summer if you want the windows open. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The wifi charge is 5 Euros an hour which seems extreme, luckily we had 4 […] hours free with our room because we were in the suite. The breakfast was pretty standard. We didn't drink or eat in the bar & restaurant, it was empty nearly every time we went past. Perhaps busier in the summer months. The Hotel Delle Nazioni is situated in a very central area near the Spanish Steps and within easy walking distance for all tourist attractions. The entrance is spacious with lounge area, bar, restaurant and a very nice breakfast room serving a wide selection of food. […] There are also conference facilities. Superior bedrooms are spacious and vary from the more modern to the traditional - worth looking at the different types if you have a choice. generally good all round value. Location excellent,breakfast very good with plenty of choice. Only criticisim being when asked to order a taxi, an unregistered car turned up. "Great location, restaurant not so good"
Hotel okay, great location, room very hot though. Breakfast very good, although 60% of the time the coffee machine had either run out of coffee or milk. Visited the restaurant on one occassion, food was reasonably good although the service was questionnable.Ósvikin umsögn gesta á Expedia

"Superb location"
Superb location just 2 minutes from the Trevi Fountain and most attractions are within 10-30 minutes walk of the hotel. Well appointed, comfortable twin bedded room. "You Won't be Disappointed with Hotel Delle Nazioni"
The location of the Hotel was excellent; we walked everywhere for the most part. The welcome drink was a nice touch and for the most part the staff was just excellent, the bellhop the cleaning staff very friendly and attentive. The front desk answered our questions and made our stay great. The internet computer wasn't the greatest but we did manage […] to get whatever we needed done. We were very happy with the room and it is true the noise level was surprisingly very quiet to sleep. Breakfast was really good, you can't go wrong, and there is plenty of variety. Would totally stay here again, as this was our first trip to Italy and Rome for two in our group, myself included, and our Hotel was a definite part of why we loved Rome so much. "Superb location, smart comfortable room."
We picked this hotel primarily on location, having stayed between Termini and the forum on previous visits. On checkin, the receptionist spoke English and although not 'warm' she was certainly efficient. A porter took our bags to the room. We were given vouchers for a complimentary drink in the adjoining bar/restaurant. The room was a standard room, […] but was a decent size (how big do you want it when you have the best city in the world literally on your doorstep?), as was the bathroom. Window had external and internal shutters, and double curtains. Table with lamp, 2 x bedside lamps, and a plug at each side handy for chargers. Bath was a great size, and although not a power shower it was more than adequate.Large mirror but slightly disappointing hairdryer.Good AC. Location-wise it could not be better. Probably marginally close to Barberini metro but we used Spagna which was about 10 mins walk away. Trevi fountain is literally 30s away. 10 mins walk to Piazza Navona via Pantheon, 10 mins to Piazza Venizia. We walked to St Peter's in about 30-40 mins. Breakfast was great, selection of meat/salad/pastries/bread/fruit/cereal and (surprisingly) egg and bacon. Can't comment on the adjoining restaurant for dinner as we thought it looked expensive so we didn't go. Watch out for the city tax collected at check-out (standard in Rome). This should be paid cash, but as we had run out of money we were allowed to pay by card. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Lesa meiraÓsvikin umsögn gesta á Expedia

"EXCELLENT LOCATION"

"Great location for tourists and shoppers"
The hotel has an excellent location, and offers free breakfast. The internet is not free though, although Expedia clearly states that free internet access is included. "Rome hotel review"
Great location. Stayed at this hotel twice. The first room had a tiny bathroom and even tinier shower. The second stay at the end of my trip, the room had a large bathroom with double sinks and a tub shower. The first room needs painting -the walls were scuffed and the tiny bathroom ceiling and shower were peeling paint. still great location, helpful […] staff.
