It was fine -no bugs -no smells. No breakfast BOO! Air did cut on and off all night, but it worked fine. Just normal operation.
A good place to stay for the money. It was great for someone passing though.

The rooms were nice and clean, no odors or anything like that. They were pretty well insulated from outside sounds also. Never heard anything until I opened the door. Everyone was really friendly. I would definately stay here again.

I had a little concern when I pulled into the parking lot, but the room was newly remodeled and was just fine for the price. The lounge is only open Wed-Sat, though.

Very happy overall with the Northgate Inn, not a luxury resort but very clean & comfortable & the staff is outstanding. It's all on one level, older buildings but the rooms appear to be recently renovated. I had 2 separate stays in the same week & both times my room smelled fresh & everything was spotless & in good working order. Excellent value & location. […] Only change I would make, I wish the upper part of the sign that says "Northgate Inn" was lit up, the entrance really sneaks up on you when you're driving in the dark in an unfamiliar city. Entire staff was friendly & helpful. Rooms were very clean & adequate for my comfort.... not a luxury resort but that wasn't what I was looking for. Location was perfect for my needs & I found Hattiesburg easy to navigate. A discount coupon was provided daily for breakfast at the diner next door (terrific down-home cooking). "A Great Find"
The hotel has all ground floor rooms which are well appointed with TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. Rooms and bath were in good repair and very clean. All the interior furnishings appear to be nearly new and there was no trace of previously being used by smokers. It was a great price and well worth a visit. Breakfast not included but you get a $2 […] off coupon to be used in the diner across the parking lot. Overall, very satisfactory. Lesa meira
