We stayed at this Best Western the day before and on New Years eve. The price was highly inflated which was to be expected with the holiday; however, we were lead to believe there were no other vacancies in town. Driving up and down the streets in Tahoe was annoying seeing all the vacancy signs. This hotel has beautifully decorated rooms, and our room […] had a HUGE shower! The beds are more comfortable than any hotel bed I have ever experienced. Biggest downfall...they have about 50 parking spaces for 120+ rooms. We had to park a block away on the street and go get the car to load our luggage from the room. Lesa meira
The staff was so friendly and curtious. We showed up early and they let us check in to our room a couple of hours before, which was very convenient to our schedule.

Hotel location, although off the main highway, was close enough to walk to any of the casinos and restaurants. Room was great enjoyed the short stay.
"Perfect for families"
We loved this hotel because we went to Tahoe for a family trip and this hotel is located off the main strip. It's located about one block away from a beach with a playground. Unfortunately, we were told on the phone that the pool would be heated and it wasn't. Our girls still went in the hot tub and had fun. But, a heated pool would have been even better. Good, affordable choice for South Lake Tahoe. Hotel is basic, but clean and kept up. Guests have access to a private beach down the road, which is very nice. Great mountain views all around and a very nice patio restaurant.

The hotel staff were very efficient and a pleasure to deal with. The room fulfilled our needs. Personal in the attached restaurant were very friendly but the food was not up to par for the price charged. We recommend this motel to everyone as they will enjoy their stay.

"Very Satisfied"
It was our first time staying at BW, and it was better than I expected. The room was very clean, the bathroom has a lot of towels and clean. Over all the room has everything you need, even free Internet acces. Also very helpful the free breakfast, the service at the Restaurant was excellent. We'll definitely stay there again.

"Can't beat it!"
You can't beat this hotel for the price. The room was nice and clean and the amazing breakfast and restaurant staff was a bonus!!! Free sit down and order breakfast with all the fixings!
"Fair hotel"
Stayed at hotel based on friends recommendation, food was not great, the bed squeaked and check out took forever, but it did the job. Location was good and the area was quiet. The walls are thin though
"decent motel, well located"
Decent 3 star hotel. Room was decent size and comfortable, nothing fancy but adequate. Full breakfast was simple but nice. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Location is fairly close to lake, gondola and casinos.

WOW...what a great find! I spent the Christmas/New Years week here and it was such a great place. They even did a fantastic job at plowing the 2 ft. of snow we got, which is more than I can say for any other hotel in the area. They were quick and efficient. It was all gone in no time. The room, although a bit small, was very clean and had everything […] we needed, (fridge, iron, hair dryer, even great water pressure.) The location, breakfast, and condition of the Station House Inn is what sets it apart from the other hotels in the area. First: LOCATION: You can't beat it! It is 2 blocks from the gondola and Heavenly Village, 2 blocks from the beach, and 2 blocks from the casinos. Everything we needed was within walking distance. But what really made this place great was the breakfast! Order right off the menu, but with no worry about the price. The wait staff was also fantastic. I'm not sure I would recommend that place for dinner, but it's great for breakfast, and it's free! If you stay here, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and the beds are really comfortable as well! "Diamond in the Rough"
Rustic on the outside; very nicely appointed on the inside. Rooms extremely comfortable, front desk help friendly and helpful, and a great free full breakfast with wonderful service. Stay could not have been nicer.

"I'd stay there again."
Rooms were well outfitted and clean but very tiny and there was no place to set a suitcase. It was also very quiet. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding as was the restaurant service. A great little hostess, with lots of personaity, greated us in the restaurant and quickly seated everyone. Can't ask for more than that. The food was very good […] and I highly recomment it. great location, and a great sit in breakfast is included. A little bit overpriced as a result. The room was spacious, with clean bathrooms- but was a little dim- and could do with more light. Free Internet which worked well. parking spaces were adequate. Walking distance to teh Gondola.
"Good hotel; but small room"
This is a good hotel in an excellent location. The free breakfast is excellent. We stayed for two nights. Even though we will recommend this hotel to others, we note that this was the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in. It is fine if all you want the room for is to sleep.
The rooms were too small, we felt very cramped. Everything else was good and the free full breakfast was a plus.

A very clean and comfortable hotel situated one street back from the main road so extremely quiet and relaxing. Nice friendly and willing staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a peaceful location. It is only a short stroll into Stateline and other South Lake Tahoe shops.

We stayed at this hotel when we were at Tahoe for America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride around the lake. The location is excellent. It's off the main drag, but close enough to get to the casinos, etc. if you are looking for that. They even have a private beach on the lake. There is a nice pool and hot tub as well. The breakfast which is included at the […] adjoining restaurant was excellent. You order anything you want off of the menu and there is no charge other than the waiter's tip. The hostess is a real character! The rooms are a little small and maybe there is a little too much furniture in them. Having said this, we had a queen size room and as I looked into some other rooms while they were being cleaned, they seemed bigger.; Lesa meira

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The customer service from checkin to checkout was great. The room is small, but cozy and quiet during our stay. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. Overall stay great, will stay again.

Das Hotel liegt günstig - hervorzuheben ist das Frühstück a la Carte. Die in 5 Gehminuten Entfernung liegenden Casinos auf der NEVADA Seite des Ortes bieten sehr günstige Abendbuffets. Das Zimmer allerdings war viel zu klein. Es war so mit Möbeln zugestellt, dass noch nicht einmal ein Koffer aufgeklappt werden konnte. Wir mussten deshalb ein Upgrade […] nehmen, um unser Gepäck unterbringen zu können. Das ist eine Zumutung. Lesa meira

für einen Aufenthalt in South Lake Tahoe perfekt. In unmittelbarer Strandnähe, Zutritt zum reservierten Strandabschnitt inklusive. Saubere Zimmer, Betten leider (wie fast überall in den USA) sehr (zu) weich. WLAN nur in der Lobby, nicht in den Zimmern.
