"very decent motel"
Nothing special about this room, but nothing bad either...no issues with cleanliness etc...decent WiFi.. Even though it was a smoking room, I never noticed it. A little thing, but this was the 1st motel that offered splenda in your room on the coffee tray. A little overpriced for the area, but I will stay there again!
"OK, but prefer better"
Well the hallways smelled of cigarettes. The wall drainage pipe made a whistling noise while heavy showering was going on. The AC was a little difficult to get the right room temp. Service was great, staff was very helpful and courteous, like a small town should be. Breakfast was all carbs, no boiled eggs or meat of any kind. My room was adequate. "Pretty good location, but nothing special"
I stayed in early Sept. 2011 for a few days. The location was very convenient- right off the main road from where I was visiting family. It was okay, but the room decor leaves a lot to be desired. The "continental breakfast" was very limited and after 2 days I couldn't take it anymore and went next door to Burger King for breakfast. The pool was clean, […] but very small. Long story short- this hotel needs a decor makeover and a better breakfast. Until then, this is closer to a motel, than a hotel. Lesa meira
"Best Western Collins"
I really enjoyed my stay here on July 16-18, 2011. When I walked in the lobby the first thing he said was it smells so good in here, and he is 7 years old. Everyone one very polite, courteous, and willing to help with whatever you needed. The only change I would probably make is to the continental breakfast. I suggest that the add either some type of […] meat or grits to the menu, I believe it would help. But other than that I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends. only problem was the so called breakfast. all that was available was cold cereal and a few cupcakes nothing HOT
"Helpful - clean - as expected - no waffles"
The hotel is on a Mississippi highway. It is easy to get to from the highway. The facilities are clean and the staff helpful. Not a fancy resort place, but nice. The pool is clean and there is a water park just behind the motel. Breakfast is clearly a 'motel' breakfast. The owner has discontinued waffles as patrons ate too many for too long (!).
