When planning a trip Venice we were advised not to stay in or very close to Venice. So we decided on this hotel only 30 min drive to Venice. And we hit the jackpot. This hotel is royalty. The garden surrounding the hotel is HUGE and very romantic. The hotel is like nothing else. It’s more like a mansion. The room was very big, more like a suite. I could not believe the elegance for this price. The whole time we stayed there I was expecting someone to slap me in the face and charge me three times more. We are still amazed by value for our money. It’s like something from the TV show bachelor. Highly recommended.

Walking distance from the train station and several restaurants nearby. Not very welcoming staff and tiniest room imaginable. Not even enough room to lay the suitcase on the floor (un-opened!). Uncomfortable bed, and my partner's legs stuck out from the bottom of the bed by about a foot. Bathroom was realitively spacious and the shower was nice and […] powerful. Breakfast was reasonable. Tiny, filthy, loud, stains all over walls, bathrooms atrocious. Decent location, but the rooms are so atrocious it is not worth staying here.

The location of hotel failer was superb, really central and just a short walk (10 minutes) from Santa Lucia, however Venice can be confusing so don't be afraid to ask!! The hotel was lovely and clean and breakfast was fantastic. Room had free wifi which was quicker than the complimentary computer in the lobby. "Falier Hotel at Venice"
If you book this hotel in hotels.com for a good price, that means you're gonna get the smallest room in the hotel. The staff is friendly but not English speaking. The breakfast is not that good but it's better then nothing. Next time I'll pay more and stay at a better place in Venice or I'll pay even less and stay in a place outside of Venice (like […] mestre ?) for half the price in a much better hotel. Lesa meira
"Good option for a few nights in Venice"
The hotel was clean and the common areas were charming. Management was courteous -- taking the trouble to find some ice for us late at night and helping us with maps. The location was good -- not right in the middle of the tourist area, so we felt like we were in a true neighborhood. Everything walkable. The only negative for me was that our room was […] exceptionally small (even for Europe, by my standards after visting 7 European destinations over the years). Most likely not all rooms were as small as ours, but you really could not move around much at all, so three nights was about as long as we could be comfortable. I also found that the scent of the cleaning products they were using to be overwhelming and difficult to ignore. "Hotel Falier - perfect loction"
This hotel has the perfect location. Close to Piazzale Roma. The end station for all buses. It´s in a quiet neighbourhood but still very close to major tourist attractions. Nice rooms, but small. And friendly staff.

Hotel close to train station, although a bit far from San Marco if you plan to go there. But in Venice, all attractions can easily be accessed.
Wonderful experience! Spotless, excellent friendly service, delicious breakfast. Can't say enough positive things about this hotel.
"Good for the money"
No frills, but okay. Venice isn't cheap. Would stay here again. It's reasonably near the train station. If you're wanting to be near San Marco the whole time, don't stay here, but if you're willing to walk/boat around Venice, a good place. My room had no cell phone reception. Breakfast was okay, but not stellar.

We stayed at the Falier for 2 nights on our recent trip to Venice, and were disappointed by our stay. First, the hotel is not easily found, especially for first-time visitors. Our directions got us hopelessly turned around, and not even the locals could help us determine the location. After two hours dragging our suitcases up and down bridges, we finally […] found a bookstore with a map that helped us find our way. The front desk was not so friendly, and the room was small, which was to be expected. Unfortunately, the AC didn't work at all, and you couldn't really open the windows both for smell and for the loud alley that ran along the side of the building. The shower was vile--not even the size of a closet, with a dingy cloth shower curtain that clung to your backside as you tried to wash. Disgusting. We didn't partake in the included breakfast, so I can't rate that, but for your money, I'd stay somewhere else. Lesa meira
"Small but friendly and with great location"
Perfect hotel. Rooms are small, but with wifi, tv (italian), airco, heating... Not a place for big people and big suitcases.... but so neither is Venice. Liked the breakfast and good coffee. Will stay there again.

"Great stay in Venice"
The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was good, and free. The wifi in the room was excellent. The room was small, with no minibar, but acceptable in light of the location and city. The only complaint is that the shower curtain smelled bad, and that the shower was not separated from the bathroom.

Very easy to get to from the bus or train station, a straight shot once you find the right canal to follow. Staff generally friendly, room was small but this is consistent with Venice at large. "A true Venician experience"
An under-rated small hotel well placed near Pl Roma. Elegant lobby, comfy room in the style of Venice with a beautiful rooftop view and a European continental breakfast, staffed by knowledgable, helpful and multilingual individuals. A great begining or ending for any cruise vacation.

Breakfast: Excellent. The lady would present you with a set of italian coffee beverages freshly made. Croissants, juice, yogurt (including coffe yogurt), bread, nutella (as everywhere in Italy), milk, jam, butter, ... The hotel is located at 8 min. from the train station, in a very good position in Venice: the whole island is a very good spot. Breakfats was excellent, specially with when the lady asked us (with the charming italian accent) which kind of coffe we would have: café latte, Thé, capuccino, espresso, ou machiatto. Super hôtel très bien situé non loin de la gare de Venise. Parfait lorsque vous arrivez par bus de l'aéroport Marco Polo ! Acceuil chaleureux et personnel à l'écoute. Chambres cosy juste ce qu'il faut. Seul petit point noir la salle de bain petite qui ne dispose pas de bac à douche.... seul un rideau protège la salle de bain des projections d'eau ... "Schöner Aufenthalt im Hotel Falier"
Unser Aufenthalt in Venedig im Hotel Falier war sehr angenehm. Unser Zimmer war zwar etwas klein,aber sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt allerdings auch größere Zimmer. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und dennoch sehr nah am Busbahnhof, am Parkhaus und an der […] Wasserbusstation (Piazzale Roma). Vom Hotel aus lassen sich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen, dennoch ist man etwas Abseits vom Touristentrubel. Restaurants,Cafes und Imbisse befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben die Abende häufig auf dem Campo de Maquerita verbracht (2 Minuten Fußweg).Dort gibt es schöne Bars,Cafe und Restaurants.Auf dem Weg zum Hotel vom Busbahnhof (piazzale Roma) kommt man direkt am Stehlokal Bacaretto da Lele am Campo del Tollentini vorbei.Nirgends sonst in Venedig kann man ein Bier,Wein,Prosecco und leckere Brötchen so günstig bei sehr freundlicher Bedienung erhalten. Hotel Falier i Venedig er beliggende tæt ved busholdepladsen og togstationen - ca 10 minutters gang - så det er let tilgængeligt. Det ligger i et roligt kvarter med mange små hyggelige restauranter i nærheden. Vi vil også fremhæve et nærliggende torv - Campo S. Margherita - hvor der er livlig aktivitet om aftenen. Bokade detta hotell efter att ha läst kommentarer här på Hotels.com. Då venedig är väldigt litet så spelar det inte så stor roll om ni bestämmer er att bo i utkanten, från detta hotell var det ca 20-25min gångväg till San Markusplatsen, ca 10-15min till Rialtobron via turiststråken och ca 3-5min (2st broar) gångavstånd till busstationen vilket är bra […] då man får bära bagaget. Hotellet i sig ligger i ett lugnt område och har en liten innergård (2st cafébord), frukosten är enkel bestående av gifflar, bröd och yoghurt. Rummen är små, men lämpligt stora för två. Skulle bedömma hotellet som prisvärt för en weekend, mycket trevlig personal, vill man passa på att sola och bada bör man söka sig till östra delen av ön eller Lido. Lesa meira

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Plaza Roma und ist daher sehr gut zu erreichen. 24 Stunden-Service im Empfang, Personal sehr freundlich, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, vor allen Dingen für Venedig. Wir haben im Dezember 2010 für Ostern 2011 gebucht.

Das Hotel Falier ist gut zu Fuss vom Bahnhof her zu erreichen. Es ist sehr hübsch gelegen. Das Hotel hat Stil. Es bietet bestimmt nicht den grossen Luxus, die Zimmer sind klein, aber man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Es gibt ein kleines Frühstücks-Buffet und feinen Cappu- chino dazu. Gerade richtig, um später in […] der nahe gelegenen Trattoria da Silvio herrlich fein zu Mittag zu essen. hotel très calme, situé à proximité de la Plazza Roma pratique pour déposer les bagages en arrivant. quartier sympa, un peu loin de la place saint Marc. Personnel parlant français trés aimable, chambres propres et silencieuses, donnant sur des jardinets derriere. A recommander!

Petit hôtel très sympathique proche de la piazzale roma, ce qui est pas négligeable lorsqu'on arrive en soirée, car peu de distance avec les valises. Personnel agréable, chambres de taille suffisante, propreté irréprochable et le petit déjeuner est copieux.

Cet hôtel est bien situé surtout si vous arrivez par train ou par bus (de trévise). De plus, il est proche d'une station de vaporretto (5 mn à pied). Nous sommes arrivés tard (vers 22h30), et nous n'avions pas dîné, le gardien de nuit nous a accompagné au restaurant (à côté de l'hôtel) afin de leur demander si il était encore possible de dîner.
