Lítið og sætt hótel. Frábær staðsetning við Rín 10 mín. gangur í dómkirkjuna. 5 mín. gangur á aðal-verslunargötuna. Góð þjónusta, frábært morgunverðarborð.

Hef ekki dvalið á þessu hóteli áður en er mjög gott í alla staði og þjónustan frábær. Mæli með þessu hóteli og verður fyrsta val mitt næst þegar ég verð í Essen

"Madison Hotel - Kind of Scary Neighborhood!"
We selected this location in Dusseldorf at the last minute to put us close to a car we were purchasing. Unfortunately, the location/neighborhood was rather scary. It certainly didn't seem like a safe place to wander around after dark! Luckily there was a parking garage for our rental one block over. Additionally, the room was very small (not as pictured […] online) with a very hard bed. It overlooked a street that had quite a bit of traffic which included about 4-5 emergency vehicles throughout the night. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. Lesa meira
"The Madison was a great stay."
Was a little confusing to find. But not a fault of the hotel. The streets are very crisscross and run very much at angles with each other and everything else. The Hotel sign was not very visible unless you where right in front and looking at it.

"Good value in a central location"
The location is very good. A few steps from the main train station (with direct trains to the airport). Rooms are OK, just nothing special. Rooms to the street can be quite noisy.
"not a 4 star AT ALL"
the hotel is just in a red street! there are streap clubs, sexy shops and people selling their love all arond. the area is not nice at all. The rooms are dirty and very basic, a bed, no cable tv, a guardrobe and the bathroom is old. Towels are really old and small. breakfast costs €14,00 euros per person, so we did not have it. Rooms are locaded on […] the floors like a labirinth and is not easy to reach, if you have luggages. I travel a lot, and this can easily be classified as a 2 stars hotel Lesa meira

"Mutton dressed as lamb"
It may have 4* facilities such as indoor pool and gym, which were not well maintained (or used by guests!), but it has the look and feel of a 2* hotel. This is a small hotel in a not so nice area but convenient for the railway station, if thats what you want. Bedrooms are extremely basic and certainly not cosy. Cold shower first morning meant a change […] of room where the window didnt close properly - result was a noisy night/morning with the sound of traffic. Not for the romantic. OK for a lads weekend. "Nice place to stay"
Was great to walk out of the train station and within 4-5 mins be at the hotel. Very clean and a nice indoor pool as well. Room was very hot, but a fan was provided when asked for. Any questions were answered by the staff straight away and help given if required. Breakfast was really nice and plentyful. A good hotel and got my stay at a great price […] as well. "Nice hotel very close to the main train station"
About 5 minutes or less from the main train station - just come out of the train station and follow the tram tracks to the left - they will curve around and pass just in front of the hotel entrance. It was perfect to simple and easy access to trains and public transport. Many places to eat nearby (though mostly fast-food type places). Hotel was clean […] and mostly comfortable (though a second pillow would have done wonders!). Would certainly stay here again. Lesa meira
"A few disappointments, but overall good stay"
Overall I was happy with the stay. A few issues I was dissatisfied with. First - I brought my laptop but the WiFi in the lobby was not working. The internet provided by the hotel was not working either. I had to go down a few doors and pay to use the internet cafe. That was an issue for me. Secondly - we were told at check in that check out the following […] day was at noon and that breakfast was included in the booking I'd made online. 2 hotel staff came into or to the room before we were gone since we were told the wrong check out time, and then when we finally did check out we were charged for breakfast, which we had gone down to at 9:50am (15 min before it closed) and each had a couple of croissants! The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and she would not listen to the fact that we were told it was included. We would definately NOT have gone had we know that 2 croissants would cost us the equivalent of $40 US!! That was extremely frustrating. We went to another hotel for the following night instead of staying another night at this hotel. Lesa meira
"Close, simple, and clean"
Hotel was walking distance from the train station, and i mean with a big peice of luggage on wheels and my backpack it took me 8 mins to walk to the hotel. Took me 15 min to walk to expensive shopping area and worth the walk. Hotel was a little out dated as far as amenities in room. Old t.v., key to lock door, not card. but otherwise, its clean, staff […] was very helpful, linens were fresh, and would stay again. Lesa meira
"Excellent value for money"
The hotel could not be more central. We were only there for the weekend but the staff were very pleasant, and the hotel very clean. The swimming pool and sauna were available though we did not have time to use them. One drawback, particularly with rooms that look onto Graf Adolf Str. is that the trams can be very noisey. Отель очень удобно расположен, в 3 минутах от ж/д вокзала и не далеко от центра (10 минут пешком). Приятно удивило, что фото номеров соответствуют действительности. Отель не новый, но чистенький, удобные кровати и маленькие и мягкие подушки (а не те, на которых спишь сидя). Но завтрак стоит довольно дорого, если он не включен в стоимость проживания. […] Wi-fi нет, но в лобби есть компьютер с интернетом, правда скорость интернета очень низкая, только ночью можно нормально пользоваться. Lesa meira

"Fortjener ikke 4 stjerner"
Et hotel, der afføder en mærkelig stemning. På forhånd vækker de 4 stjerner og billederne på internettet store forventninger, der imidlertid slet ikke bliver indfriet. Derfor bliver det et ophold, hvor man hele tiden er lidt småutilfreds.Man er hele tiden påvagt overfor at blive snydt, når man nu kan snyde så gevaldigt med stjernerne. 2 stjerner ville […] passe bedre til hotellets standard. "Sentralt og helt ok i Dusseldorf"
Vi var på Boot messen og hotellet har sentral beliggenhet til offentlig komunikasjon (hovedjernbanestasjonen). Samt at det ligger nesten helt i sentrumsgatene. Sengen var veldig uttligget på det rommet vi hadde. Ellers så var alt OK. Hyggelig service. Frokost får man kjøpt på hotellet og var bra.

Sehr freundliches Personal
"Renovierungsbedarf"
Wir waren 4 Nächte da. Das Personal war kompetent und freundlich. Die Teppiche in den Fluren und in den Zimmern sind stark veraltet und heruntergekommen. Ein Lift fiel mehr als einen Wochentag aus. Im Poolbereich fehlen Türen zu Umkleideräumen und die Fliesen haben braune Flecken. Der Pool ist ansonsten sauber, wir waren jeden Tag drin. Wir hatten zwei […] Zimmer, eins im zweiten und eins im dritten OG. In beiden Zimmern lief das Wasser aus der Dusche nur sehr langsam ab. Ansonsten waren die Bade/Toiletten- Räume i.O. Wir würden das Hotel da preisgünstig für junge Leute empfehlen die in der Altstadt Partie machen wollen. Das Frühstück ist zu teuer, da die Auswahl sich auf "günstigen Standard" beschränkt. "Für Kurztrip und Bahnanreise eine Empfehlung"
Für Kurztrip nach Düsseldorf eine gute Empfehlung. Nettes Personal, angenehme Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, gute Lage. Für Bahnanreise ideal, aber auch mit dem Auto in Ordnung da Parkmöglichkeit in direkter Umgebung. Auch die Innenstadt ist zu Fuss gut zu erreichen. OK hotell, god beliggenhet, veldig nær offentlig transport som tog og t-bane og taxi.God forkost buffet. Ok rom, noe støy på natta fra trafikken, hvis man får rom vendt ut mot hovedgata.

This is not a business hotel be curse the computer at the lobby do not work, we could not find the wireless network at the room. The breakfast is rather high consider to the quality of the food and the amount. Even there is a elevator, you still need to use the staircase to get to your room. Hotelli sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla rautatieaseman lähellä. Huoneen siisteydessä olisi parantamisen varaa. Vanhalle tupakalle haiseva huone, keltaisen katon ja tupakan kellastuttamat tekstiilit eivät vastanneet hotellin mainoksessa annettua tasoa. Kahden hengen huoneessa oli virvokkeita vain yhdelle hengelle ja siivoja tuli huoneeseen todella myöhään […] iltapäivällä. Henkilökunta oli palveluhenkistä ja mukavaa. Lesa meira

"Sauber und günstig, aber etwas abgelebt."
Nettes Hotel für den Geschäftsmann. Von Romantik aber keine Spur. Ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Dit hotel ligt aan een drukke weg, en de kamer was ontzettend warm. Helaas konden we het raam bijna niet open doen vanwege het lawaai van de weg. We hebben dus niet echt lekker kunnen slapen in dit hotel.

Very bad hotel, bed fell apart, no hot water in the shower, breakfast under average. Don't stay here.
"Standard hotell"
Et middels hotell. Sentral beliggenhet. Svømmebasseng og boblebad ok. Sevicen god. Rommet var middels. Ikke noe 4-stjerners hotell, men ok.
