It was just an overnight stop on our way to the cruise port. The property was well maintained and we enjoyed our stay. We did not use any of the pools or the gym but would stay in the future when we had more time to enjoy the property.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel before and after our cruise. Rooms were very clean and well furnished. Staff were most helpful in getting us to and from the airport and cruise port. The Bistro located in the lobby was very convenient and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The staff at the Courtyard Marriott was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable! My only complaint: there was no convenient restaurants in the neighborhood so the small bistro in the hotel was the only place to eat quickly. It was expensive and didn't have very fast service. This hotel is very convenient to the airport and the cruiseport.

Great location. Great staff. Very curtious and helpful. The shuttle service was excellent and on time. Will certainly return when passing through Fort Lauderdale.

We arrived a day early for our Princess cruise. Upon check in we were prompted to sign up for a port shuttle departure time, we chose 12 noon. We arrived in the lobby at 11:30am. It was chaotic the next morning, The woman on staff was running around and could not be pinned down to answer questions; she merely left us with only a very basic direction […] of "wait over there". Noon came and went, For the next 2 hrs we waited for our shuttle. Those scheduled on Celebrity seem to take precedence over others. At no time during our two hour wait did staff provide updates. I assume that many, like us, stayed at this hotel due to the proximity to the cruise port and the free shuttle thus making this a common occurrence to the staff. It is baffling that staff never saw the need or should I say cared enough to provide announcements or just some common courtesy information as to shuttle status. We were left wondering, confused and anxious by this experience, a terrific way to start a long planned and costly vacation to relax. Spend the money- take a cab or better yet try another hotel that has got it together more. Lesa meira

We liked our stay at Courtyard. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to the cruise port and airport. Shuttle available.

The room was as wonderful as I remembered and the hotel staff was great. However, we had to wait for over an hour for the shuttle, and make several calls to the hotel before it finally arrived. The network was slow, it took several attempts to print our boarding passes, and the printer message was low ink.

Too expensive for one night stay before cruise. No breakfast included. Long wait for shuttle from airport, but excellent service to airport next morning.

I have stayed in that are for close to 20 years and never stayed there.....Nor will I ever again ! Air conditioning noisy ( and I am a good sleeper ) There is nothing you can do about the tri rail ( should have known better ) .The bed was hard, I am not convinced sheets were clean ( unless they are using scented detergent that smells like a womans face […] cream ) Price was very high even for the time of the year and quality of the hotel Lesa meira

I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. Staff was friendly, helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The room and the hotel in general was clean and comfortable - the mattress was comfortable as well. I cannot comment about the food in the restaurant as I did not eat there, but the food afea was clean and comfortable. Waited for an airport shuttle for almost an hour...told to look for a Courtyard Marriott green van....got in and was taken to wrong Courtyard. Used shuttle for cruise next day...told 11am would be best time to sign up. Did not leave until 11:45. Told it was due to traffic (??) but this was guarenteed to be a mess with them having only one van to take […] a whole lobby of waiting cruise people. Lesa meira

Close to Port everglades. Great shuttle service from FLL airport to hotel and from hotel to Port Everglades.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff is friendly. We always stay here prior to a cruise. Their shuttle service to Ft. Lauderdale port is so convenient and one of the main reasons we stay here. There is a good seafood restaurant within a short walking distance of the hotel.

For this price, breakfast should be included. Not much to see or do without car. Shuttle great for cruise. Came a day early and there was nothing to do in this location. Just the fish hall of fame and outdoor shop.

We came in to Ft. Lauderdale around 12:30 am with two small children 4 and 5 years old. We were greeted by the front desk in a friendly manner and was please to see we had a handicapped room with extra space. Everything went very well here and would stay again.

Location is under 15 minutes to both airport and Cruise Terminal. Hotel provides free shuttle from the airport and to the piers provided you sign up the day before. The staff is extremely helpful organizing the shuttles as there can be 7 or more ships docked at a time. A great value breakfast is included. I downrated the location as there's not much […] in the neighborhood other than a huge sporting good store and adjoining restaurant next door as well as some fishing museum but hey, that's what taxis are for. Very nice room, pool and whirlpool and exercise area. The food was delicious and the service was very good. The location is very convenient for the airport and the port, and the shuttles were very well run and convenient.

It was a very nice hotel. Most of the staff was nice. Had one episode where I asked for non-down pillows. Three phone calls and 45 minutes later I finally got a knock on the door with new pillows but the guy had an attitude because I had used the 4 down pillows so he had to change the pillow cases. Cruise Ship Director was helpful and worked extremely well under a lot of pressure. The complimentary Airport Shuttle and Port Shuttle were a welcome sight.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel for 1 night before a cruise. The service is great and the shuttle to the cruise port is very efficient. The rooms are clean and quiet and the staff are very helpful. Had a nice breakfast at the bistro. We would definitely stay here again. FYI there is a shuttle company called All Stars that sell shuttle […] tickets in the hotel lobby for post cruise to the airport. A lot of people bought these tickets including us and were left standing at the curb at the port for an hour and a half while other shuttles came and went. After repeated calls to the company, every time being told 10 min, the shuttle finally arrived and the driver was very rude. Some passengers were worried about their flights. This cost $10ea. We really liked the hotel lobby - very inviting. The cafe has excellent food and was very welcome at 9:00 p.m. after a long flight.

I am always worried about booking a place without seeing it. This turned out to be perfect. We had to return our rental car to the airport at 2 PM but were not flying out until the next morning. The hotel is next to the Fishing Hall of Fame AND a large fishing/hunting store so there is plenty to keep one entertained even if you are not a sports person. […] The pool area at the hotel is nice as well. The only negative is that the hotel is across from a light rail stop. Convenient but noisy when the train whistle blows at 2 AM. The shuttle service to & from the airport is efficient & timely. I would stay again for an early morning flight out of Ft. Lauderdale. Lesa meira

The hotel otherwise is fine, it is just that it is located between a real busy highway and a railway. way too noisy. And who knocks on the door for house keeping 8am in the morning?

Nice place to stay for overnight before going to cruise port or else after. Please note that there is basically nothing around this hotel at walking distance. Only one seafood restaurant close by that is very average. Otherwise you will need a car or go to taxi for restaurants.
