Starfsfólkið lagði sig allt fram um að aðstoða mig eins og það gat. Einnig var jákvætt hversu auðvelt var að bóka á netinu. Það sem mér finnst að mætti bæta er að hægt sé að láta hótelið vita að maður þurfi transport frá flugvelli og að hægt sé að panta skutluna fyrirfram. Þurfti smá leiðbeiningu um það hvar ég ætti að hringja á hótelið og hvert ég ætti að fara til að hitta á skutluna.

The Eixample suburb was created 1860–1920 and consequently holds the city’s finest Modernist buildings. The Passeig de Gràcia is the main artery, its wide pavements lined with designer shops and chic cafes. It is also home to Gaudí’s two fairy-tale masterpieces, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, plus many other architectural gems. The undoubted star of the Eixample is La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s fabulous unfinished emblematic church.

"Good, conviently located hotel"
Nice hotel in a convenient location not too far from main sites. Good service and very nice staff. I had an interior room that was perfect for me as it was very quiet. Room was clean and roomy. Good size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Two single beds pushed together - fine for a single, but a couple might want one bed.
"You get what you pay for"
Nothing fancy, nothing great... We had to choose this hotel near plaza Espana as our usual hotel (Vincci Arena) was full and too expensive for the dates of our trip... We asked for a king size bed (or at least a double one) but we had 2 single beds one close to the other... We felt a little discumfort at the beginning with the smell of the room but […] we quickly accepted it.... My neighboors werent that noisy, but we were able to understand exactly what they were doing, especially while in their bathroom or having a shower... A little disappoionted in the end as we were not expecting too much, but not that low... Otherwise, the hotel is located near the main metro line, and a couple of blocks away from plaza espana, which is good to catch metro/buses or go to the airport and visit the city. "A little far from main area"
The Hotel overall was nice. It was a little far from the main action in Barcelona as a tourist. I was disappointed to have to pay for internet access. Overall the staff were very accomadating.
"Excelent position"
Hotel HCC Open, Barcelona has an ideal location to visit Barcelona. It is one block away from metro (Linea 1) and a walking distance to most important places in Barcelona, Catalunya Square and Espanya Square. Apart of carpet, the intire hotel is renovated with new furnitures and decorations.

"Nice hotel, decent location"
This hotel is only a few blocks from the Metro, so it is pretty easy to get around Barcelona. That's really good, since a lot of the things in Barcelona are too far to walk. There we some places we had to take the bus, but there are plenty of bus stops around, too. The rooms are very nice overall, but there were a couple things I didn't like. The rooms […] only have two twin beds, and they just push them together if you want a double bed, which is kind of lame -- although the beds are comfortable. The other thing is that the wifi doesn't come in in the rooms; I was on the third floor, and one time I was able to connect for a couple of minutes, but I normally had to go to the lobby to use wifi. I would request to be on the first floor so you can get wifi in your room. But otherwise the hotel was very nice. Lesa meira
"Good Hotel, Good location"
A very good hotel with excellent value for money. Twenty minute walk to top of la rambla/placa catalunya and similar length of walk to placa espanya the other way. The hotel had everything you would require for a weekend break.

"Very Nice Hotel"
This is a nice, clean hotel. I recently returned from 2 1/2 weeks in Spain and France, duiring which time I stayed in many hotels. The HCC Open in Barcelona was the 2nd nicest hotel that we stayed in, and was MUCH cheaper than the nicest! The hotel is in a nice, quiet location to the main steet in Barcelona, the Placa Espana and Las Ramblas. Great deal […] for the money! I definitely enjoyed the stay there. Lesa meira

"HCC Open - ideale per visitare la città!!"
Ottimo rapporto qualità- prezzo, l'hotel è situato in una posizione vantaggiosa, si raggiunge comodamente a piedi la metro, Placa de Espania e placa de l'Univesitat. Il personale durante il soggiorno è stato cordiale e disponibile.

Auf Empfehlung eines Bekannten haben wir dieses Hotel gebucht. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der "La Rambla". Diese kann sogar bequem zu Fuss erreicht werden (ca. 20 min.). Ansonsten kann man sie per Untergrundbahn in ein paar Minuten erreichen. Die Angestellten waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt sicher sehr wichtig […] ist. Das Hotel und die Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt. Betreffend Verpflegung kann ich keine Angaben machen, da wir diese Dienstleistung nicht genutzt haben. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. "HCC open, close to everything."
The room was ok, the carpets needed to be changed but else everything was fine. The hotel is located in a quiet street and is close to busses, Subway and with inn walking distance of Pl.Espanya. We didn’t have breakfast on the hotel, and there is more than one small café/restaurant within 100meters where you can enjoy a reasonable prized breakfast. "Billig, pænt, rent hotelm i gå afstand til centrum"
Pænt, rent, sødt personale, tæt på Rambla'en - gåafstand, roligt - selvom det var i centrum - simpelthen fantastisk - set i forhold til pris og placering! Skal jeg til Barcelona igen, snupper jeg igen dette hotel. Ekstra god service: Fik lov at parkere en halv dag ekstra - efter vi havde tjekket ud ... Der sparede vi en masse parkeringspenge ...

This is a 3-star hotel which you can get for a 2-star price if staying at least 3 nights. The hotel is located between the Rambla and the Sants railway station, a 20 minutes walk to each. Metro station half way around the block. Typical hotel rooms as you can expect in size and style. Of cause clean. Helpful staf that knows the city.
