Holiday Inn Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport – Roissy-en-France

Chose this hotel to be close to the airport. The room was very nice, and we were impressed with the tasty food offered at the restaurant. A great last meal in Paris!

Horribly inconvenient. 2 shuttles necessary. Plan for two extra hours to get to an airport 2 km away

Very clean, comfortable rooms, welcoming staff, good food (had the dinner and breakfast there). The hotel is close enough from the CDG airport, with a bus shuttle several times an hour. Would recommend without hesitation.

This room was so incredibly expensive for what you get it was almost sad. No refrigerator and a very tiny room. No spa, no pool. It was really clean however, so that was nice. That being said, great service and everyone spoke English. The place was very clean and parking was available. I do want to stress everyone was very friendly, helpful, and professional. […] That was a great plus. There are a lot of hotels in the area and I would consider the other ones before looking at this one unless you are simply looking for a no frills - clean bed. We enjoyed our stay very much, it was late when we arrived, tired and hungry, happy to see the restaurant opened till 11pm. Room was very clean and comfortable, the complimentary airport shuttle was a bonus.

We needed a place to stay for 1 night between flights.Like other reviewers have mentioned,gettting to the Holiday Inn is a bit of a challenge.The signage at the airport is not very clear. Fortunately we met a "local" who was very nice-he directed us to the right platform and instructed us as to which bus to take.Once on the very crowded bus we were […] fine. The room at the Holiday Inn was very nice and comfortable.Front desk reception and service was very good. We ventured out looking for a restaurant-it was on a Saturday night and it was dark outside.Signage pointed us to walk through a deserted park path.My wife refused to enter the park for safety reasons.We found out from other travellors that all the restaurants in Roissy were closed ( on a Saturday night in September!). We ended up at the Hwatt Hotel. Meal quality was very good but service was terrible.Spoke to another couple who tried to eat in the Holiday Inn dining room.After waiting 45 minutes for their food they gave up and went to bed hungry. Bottom line-If you want a nice room for the night at a good price, stay at the Holiday Inn.It is dependable.Getting there will be a challenge for 1st time guests.Finding a nice restaurant with good service may be your biggest challenge. It looked like the entire hotel had been recently remodeled. I would definitely stay there again! Hotels.com price was very reasonable and a lot less expensive than the "posted" rate on the door.

We were driving about 15 extra minutes around to find the hotel in a taxi, with meter on. The price was outrageously expensive, really greedy, and it did not even include the breakfast. WiFi was 22 Euro for 24 €! Never more in this hotel. Information in the hotel about how to reach the Congress center was vague, no time-table, the bus had no signs […] and the driver spoke only French. Lesa meira

We needed to stay close to CDG airport since we had an early flight out the next day, I was pleasantly surprised to find this Holiday Inn to be vey clean and efficient, with friendly and knowledgable staff. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. When we arrived about 9 pm we were hungry and tired. The restaurant was very accomodating in […] providing excellent service to us latecomers. The only negative was that it took about 50 minutes to wait for the shuttle bus and then be transported to the hotel.. However, the trip in the morning only took about 20 minutes to the Air France terminal. The shuttle buses come every twenty minutes, so give yourself plenty of time in both directions. We had to allow over an hour each way to go the .8 miles to the hotel. The shuttle was responsible for too many hotels and was over-crowded. The hotel room was very basic looking. However, it was clean.

I am frequently traveling to Paris. I began staying at this hotel 3 years ago and have not stayed anywhere else. The hotel is consistently clean and comfortable. The location is ideal. I was immediately a fully delighted with this Holiday Inn. I was, frankly, not expecting much from an airport hotel but had an early flight. What a delight this hotel was! we needed the hotel only for few hours at night. we were looking for hotel inside the airport. the shuttle service was very bad, we were waiting for the bus over 1.40 hours! the taxi refuse to drive to the hotel beacuse there is shuttle service....

staff at the reception desk was most helpful The weak pint was the quality of the food in their restaurant...but...there are many other restaurants in the neighborhood. Our soup was sour, one of the fish plates (cabillaud) was not fresh. Desert was excellent...the restaurant staff was friendly and annoyed by what happened. I found this hotel to have nice big rooms. The staff was friendly and it was convenient to the airport - with the availablity of a shuttle bus to and from. The hotel is, however, a bit far from the center of Paris.

Although they offer free Internet access as part of their service, we need to know that it's a very limited in speed and volume option. If you need it for occasional mail access, you'll have no problem unless you've got an iPhone, iPad or iPod. They'll warn you that you will not gain access and that it's Swisscomm and not them who manages the service, […] and that iOS devices are not able to connect because of their infrastructure. I purchased the 9.99€ option for 24hrs for a more robust service and my nightmare continued. Then I had to call Swisscomm to have them unlock my iPad from their office in order for me to connect it. They found my device with the IP address assigned. After 2 and a half hours of my valuable time, I gained access. I was very happy with the quality of this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the "quiet" rooms while being so close to one of the World's largest airports. Excellent and easily accessible airport hotel. Very friendly staff. Only complaint was a lacking in adequate public transportation information.

Great location in the old village, clean and affordable. The only problem was the restaurant quality. Out of the four courses i had, only one was great,-foie gras, most likely bought somewhere, two courses "unsatisfactory" and one "bad". Disappointed that a business hotel close to the airport would have no available free internet (22 Euros for 1 day) or breakfast included in the price of the room.

I reserved this room for my mother who was flying from egypt to France with a 12 hour lay over and I wanted to make her confortable so I reserved this Hotel for her. When she arrive in California I spoke to her on the phone and it was nice to hear how happy she was with this hotel, its employees and the condition of the room. The hotel is convenient for travelers who need to fly out of CDG, with bus shuttle service to the train station at CDG. Facilities were nice. However, restaurant was understaffed and so service was poor. Internet did not work, which caused strain when we wanted to check what terminal we were flying out of and could not check-in online.

This is a great hotel for spending the night if you have a late arrival at CDG and need a place to overnight, or if you have a morning flight and need to stay somewhere close to CDG. Nice new hotel. Very nice rooms; small, but typical for Europe. Hotel staff could be a little better informed about airport matters, and restaurant service was a little inattentive. The restaurant food was OK, but when you get down to it, it was least tasty meal we had during a 12 day visit to France. Its proximity to the Airport is unbeatable.

Helpful staff and great location. Free shuttle bus to airport/metro station so easy to take Metro to Paris. A/C was leaking in room, they asked if we wanted to change but we chose not to, about an hour later I needed 1 more Bath towel and they said they didn't have anymore towels(gave me a 6 hand towel). Due to the British Airways cabin crew strike, I rebooked my ticket to an earlier departure time and booked my room the day before I flew out of Paris. I've stayed at other hotels in the CDG area and decided to try the Holiday Inn this time. The location is good for the CDG airport and there is a free shuttle that runs at convenient times. However, the check-in people were rude, the morning check-out people were not helpful either. There is a very limited menu if you need to eat and the drink prices were $$$$. The biggest thing was the air/heat. We sweltered and could not get the temperature […] right. I guess it's because it's fall and you're supposed to have on the heat but it was rainy/muggy and warm the night we were there so we needed the A/C on. We didn't get checked in until after 8PM and the room was warm when we went in. They have those card things where when you take your room key, the system goes off. So - we didn't realize it was malfunctioning until we were already in bed awhile and by then we didn't want to mess with calling and hoping they could switch rooms or send maintenance. Good room for the money, was a little hard to find. Once there used the shuttles to get to the trains then to downtown.

the room was very comfortable, just the futon cover was a little stained. bathroom very nice. service was great. and the shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient.

The reception was not welcoming--I was handed my keys without an opportunity to ask about morning shuttle times to the airport, etc. We had a non-smoking room but the sheets smelled like smoke, the airconditioning was at full blast but the room never cooled down--the bed was oddly uncomfortable and we basically were unable to fall asleep. This was a very good hotel for the cost, with a good complementaty breakfast. Good size room for France, nice furnishing with a flat screen TV. They have a shuttle bus that serve several hotels, and it is too infrequent, so it may take over an hour to get to CDG.

If you need to stay overnight around CDG this is a good hotel. It's simple, clean, and inexpensive. The biggest problem is the hotel shuttle from CDG is unperdictable and you never know how long you would need to wait to get to CDG. Pay attention that there are differnt shuttle going to Terminal 1 and 2. The hotel also will charge you EUR 5 upon check-out […] if you say that you used or plan to use the CDG shuttle. I've stayed at some other hotels around CDG using the same shuttle system that did not charge extra for the shuttle. Lesa meira

Not a bad hotel overall but had higher expectations for a major chain hotel. The shuttle isn't free even though it's the same shuttle that stops at other hotels that are less expensive and still don't charge for the service. It is nice to be within walking distance of town for dinner options. In general, my stay with the family is ok. No complaint on the staff as they are supportive. The room is clean. I cannot ask for more. The only but, is that all the costs are not published. For example the shuttle to the train station from the hotel is not free. Depressing hotel with a disgusting bathroom. When we told the management about the brown stained sink, she said, "oh, that is very unusual" but wouldn't change the room. The bed was uncomfortable and the parking was expensive.
