Me and my husband selebrated my husbands 40 year old birthday in Bangkok. This was our first trip to Thailand and I have to say that staying at Hansar were one of the things that maked this trip incrediable. For the first was the service, top score and the comfortness at the hotelroom was really good. Location was also great, just 15 to 20 minutes walk to the "center". We had dinner the last night at Boca, the restaurant at the hotel, and I have to say that the only negative was that it was to bright in there and a little bit to café-style for me. Missed the candlelights. Altough my husband do recomend the waquu beef burger!Oh and also I do thing that at a 5 star hotel there should be fresh orange juice at the breakfast buffet. But other than that, this hotel is really worth every penny.... Our special thanks goes to mr. Ong in the lobby. He quided us thruw the city and really recomended great restaurants and places to see. Going to Bangkok as two semi-budget travelers, we didn't consider this as cheap, but as many hostels were of the same price range, we decided to take the hotel, mostly for the chance of a good bed, more security and proximity to Khao San Road. Apart from the WiFi being a bit shaky (but to same level as many other hotels in South East Asia) and dirty […] slippers in the bathroom, everything was pretty much sufficient to our standards. The bed was comfortable enough, the hotel staff was friendly and more than ready to help with anything, a convenience store was in the same street and also an Internet Cafe. No problem finding it coming from Khao San Road, going up the street from KSR (western end), the hotel being placed on the opposite bank of the next canal - merely a five minute walk. Only downside was, being a backpacker, we missed staying with all the other backpackers on Khao San Road, but returned anyway for a second stay a week later, equally as enjoyable. Lesa meira
"New World City Hotel- Budget stay"
The room is adequate for the price I paid for. The location and its neighbourhood is probably not the best. The room is clean and it has good wifi connection. The shower facility is not that good and hotel staff probably need more training as well. Overall its matches with my expectation and its price range.

"Not as Advertised"
The pictures at Hotel.com look better than the actual room and the gym pictures are misleading as the large gym is for the Nouvos Hotel guests. The staff was accommodating. The air conditioner was very noisy and on its last leg. It needs to be replaced.

45 minutes drive from the airport - if you catch a taxi from departures as opposed to arrivals you should pay less. Hotel was easy to check into, clean, comfortable although the matresses can be a bit on the firm side. Staff were pleasant and helpful. They have 2 hotels connected by some hallways. 1 hotel is old the other is new. They show pictures of the new hotel, but the price is for the old hotel. The new hotel is expensive and they add lots of fees to the price to inflate it.

I would recommend this hotel for those looking for a quiet, clean place near to the Khaosan Road.
"Have been staying at this Hotel for years"
Excellent place to stay and not for the party animals who leave quickly giving us all some peace. Off the main road and relatively quiet for Bangkok. I would prefer to stay here than in the more expensive and newly completed ice box next door. Go for the breakfst included and take your own coffee and book through Hotels.com if you want to pay half the […] reception rate when extending your stay. Staff really helpful, polite and honest. "You get what you pay for ..."
Good location: close to Khao San. The room was fine for our needs: clean, spacious, no problems with noise. The price was great. Service left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't bother upgrading to the included breakfast; there are much better options all around the hotel. A late check-out (3pm instead of 12 noon) would have cost almost as much as another […] night. They did hold our luggage for free, instead, though. this hotel was close to Kosan road which was why we chose it. the breakfast was nice although basic. Room was quiet.

Budget hotel - hotel is old but quite clean. "What you pay is what you get". I would recommend this hotel to back packer. Breakfast choice is okay but limited.

"키오산과 가까워요~"
키오산과 가까워서 낮에도 밤에도 신나게 놀 수 있어요. 뉴 월드 시티호텔도 비용이 차이가 나는 데요~ 저렴한 곳은 조금 오래되었구요~ 비용이 비싼 곳은 새로 신축한 건물이예요. 물론 두 건물이 서로 연결되어 있어요. 가족끼리 저럼하게 즐기시려면 싼 방을 예약 해도 되지만 연인끼리 가신다면 새로 신축된 건물로 예약 하라구 권하고 싶네요.

God beliggenhed. Der var lovet udsigt til gade eller flod, men jeg fik kun udsigt til baggårdsskakt. Måske det sædvanlige, at man som enkeltperson får tildelt det dårligste, selvom man faktisk betaler for et almindeligt værelse? Mener også, der var lovet kogekande toil kaffe/the på værelset - hvad der ikke var. Eller alt i orden

가격대비 만족스러움. 카오산로드에서 10분(?)이내에 위치해 있으며, 방람푸 운하를 이용하기 편하고, 호텔근처에 작은 식당이 다수있음. 또한 누오보 호텔의 휘트니스 센터와 수영장을 이용할 수 있음. 그러나 전체적으로 호텔이 오래되었으며, 간혹 벌레가 발견되기도 하였음. 화장실이 딸린 2인용 게스트하우스를 이용하시려는 분들에게 적합한 장소임.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is not the best hotel we have stayed in, but it is ok standard to the price. Their breakfast is not recommendable (small selection of food) and they do not serve alcohol at all on this hotel. The hotel is in the same building as nouve hotel, which looks a bit nicer. Do not eat at the roadside restaurant in […] connection to the hotel. Instead eat at the part of the restaurent located towards the river. You eat there for 2-3 times less and the menu is the same. Im Grossen und Ganzen ok. Aber wie ueberall in Thailand nur katastrophal schlechte Englisch Kentnisse, sogar an der Reception. Das Fruehstueck war einfach nur schlecht und ueberhaupt nicht frisch.

It wasnt that close to Khaosan Rd. Still wasnt far away from there. Their blackfast menu is change everyday it seems and it was pretty good. People are nice. Some of worker could speak English so i didnt have any problem talking with them. So ein Preis/Leistungsverhaeltniss habe ich in einer Grossstadt in Asien noch nie erlebt. Suppersauber und trotz der naehe zur Kao San recht ruhig. Unbedingt darauf achten ein Zimmer mit gerader Nummer zu kriegen(Sicht auf Klong). Die Ungeraden haben Griffnaehe zur Rueckseite des neuen Bunkers. Werde auf der Rueckreise wieder dort sein

Meget fint hotel ,hjælpsom personale i receptionen. Desværrre ærgelige oplevelser med den " guide" som varetager diverse udflugter. Vi blev hente alt for sent til vores Show, og en anden tur til det højeste restaurant ,havde hun booket forkert, tiltrods for vi havde gjort opmæksom på 4 gange det var 82 etage. " hun slog det hen med, hun ikke var koncentreret […] " Rigtig rigtig ærgeligt,for selve oplevelserne var fantastiske Lesa meira

Manche Taxifahrer finden es nicht; der Haupteingang liegt in einer unansehnlichen Nebengasse. Besser eine genaue Lagebeschreibung vorher organisieren. Innen sehr gut. Das Frühstück ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Von herzhaft bis süß war alles dabei. Mit dem Internet im Foyer hatten wir Probleme. Der Ausblick auf den Banglampho Kanal ist nicht so […] der Hit, aber die Lage ist super, man kann praktisch alle zentralen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen.
