Good clean budget hotel. Rooms cleaned daily. Basic bar & restaurant facilities with French staff- which had its difficulties at times. Standard Saturday night noise, expected in budget accommodation - but was dealt with by management. Ideal location for Bluewater. Transport required.

Staff really nice, especially waiter Egys, and dinner was very good. Some of the other staff spoke very little English and I had to communicate with the breakfast waiter in French. Bed was broken, and it felt like I was sleeping on a hillside. Bedding not warm enough for winter and we had to keep the heater on all night. I found the hotel easily located off the motorway but within an industrial estat. The room was poorly lit and did not look clean or fresh. The meal I chose on arriving late was expensive (burger & chips). I booked the hotel by mistake as I was working the otherside of the crossing however I was greeted with a friendly smile. The room was adequate and clean. I spent 4 nights there and would do again if working the otherside of the crossing.

Hotel was easy to find with plenty of free parking. The first thing I noticed was a very nice welcome at check-in by the cheerful and enthusiastic receptionist team. Room allocation was quick and informative. The bed was a little soft for my liking. Room was clean and basic and had most things you would need for an overnight stay. In the bathroom the […] sink basin was cracked, although I reported it to reception and they offered to change the room, I decided to stay there as I was only really there for one night. Besides it was near the exit so I could pop out with ease if I fancied a cigarette. The only problem with this hotel was in the morning. There was a number of French coach parties staying overnight. They were up early (6.30am) and insisted on having load conversations in the corridor. Any hope I had of a long Sunday morning lye inn was dashed. The hotel is positioned right by the Dartford Crossing so there is easy access to the motorway, London and the South East. Although it has to be noted you are in a middle of an industrial area. In the morning there was no reception staff available at check-out. I waited for a while and just left my key on the reception desk. This hotel is OK for an overnight stay but I would not recommend it if you are planning to stay longer, unless you are of course working in the locality. Lesa meira

It was fine. Plenty of parking and quiet.

It's a very much "away from it all" feeling, rather pleasant, almost country. Nice people esp. on front desk. Very continental feeling (incl. most employees) and salon is a bar (not a pub) with not a single English entry. I spent 3 days, enjoyed stay. Three storeys without an elevator.

The Campanile Hotel offered budget accommodation with good sized rooms. Comfortable beds and quieter location than expected. It exceeded my expectations.

We had a comfortable stay and bearing in mind that it is on an industrial estate next to a motorway the landscaping, lake and fountain were very pleasing. Two grumbles. Having booked & paid for a room for two nights we thought it strange to have to pay separately for each meal taken in the restaurant (in advance for breakfast0 rather than simply settling […] up when we checked out - this was unnecessarily time consuming particularly when there was only one person on reception. This was a basic no frills type of hotel suitable for business travellers, but it was very noisy. The noise was coming from nearby factories and traffic.

ok for a one night stop but most staff had problems with english ( i asked for chardonay and got shandy ) and room in some ways well equippped but in other ways badly equipped (eg no glasses?). but ok for a one night stopover

The bedroom chairs were uncomfortable. There were no hand rails in the bath and the towel shelf was loose. I had to climb on the desk to open the window for ventilation and traffic noise could still be heard at night when it was fully closed. The hotel had easy access from the M25 and a good car park . A bonus was that it is close to an ASDA.

I do not want you to print this, we was very pleased with the hotel,but we had a job to find it in the dark. we asked people and they didnot no where it was. I phoned the hotel and I could not understand the mann on the deck. I asked him to speak slowly and he shouted at me, I told him not to shout and he said he could not speak much English. In the […] end we found the Holiday Inn and they directed us to you. This was after just over an hour riding around. Our statnav had gone wrong. What is it about hotel bathrooms. Someone is going to kill themselves climbing into the bath-tub to have a shower....as I came very close to doing in several occasions during my stay. The young lady at reception could use some lessons on smiling. However, apart from these little issues that could be easily fixed, the hotel was surprisingly clean and […] tidy. The cleaners actually do a fantastic job. It's amazing how comfortable they can make those uncomfortable beds look. The receptionist at time of booking in, made life very difficult, to the extent that after requesting a particular part of the Hotel I wished to stay in, she refused to consider it, even telling me to hurry up and make my mind up as she was busy.

Seeing I was disabled the desk staff kindly moved me to a more spacious room with plenty of room for the wheelchair to turn around, and handles in the bathrooms. At breakfast the staff were very helpful indeed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially as there are lots of disabled person parking spaces right by the front desk.

When staying away the bathroom is as important as the bedroom. In this case, there seemed to be a permanent musty smell, not disasterly unpleasant but not good either. A powerful over-bath shower was great to come back to but I have never seen such tiny bottles of shampoo/shower gel! The bedroom was small but the bed comfortable and linen clean. Wi-fi […] throughout the hotel (not just in the public areas) is a bonus for business users in particular. A buffet style continental breakfast for was reasonable value with excellent coffee, fresh fruit salad, meats cheese, croissant bread/toast, yogurt etc. A £2.50 surcharge allowed customers to upgrade to a cooked breakfast although this seemed unnecessary given the ‘continental’ choice available. Stayed here for three nights recently. Clean and comfortable and above all quiet over the weekend, but a little noisier on a Monday morning with it being in a commercial area. Didn't use the restaurant, so can't make comment, but will be staying again.

We were just looking for a place to crash while down in England visiting the folks. This hotel was just what we wanted. It was easy to find and close to the main M25 and the roads and rail lines into London if that was what we wanted (maybe next time). In spite of coming from a rural area in North Scotland, the proximity of the main motorway and the […] Dartford crossing were not in the slightest bit intrusive. We were met by friendly and helpful staff who knew their job and did it with a smile. The room was clean and neat with everything we needed including a bath to soak in after a long day. The food at breakfast was tasty and sustaining and the surroundings were pleasant. I would not just recommend this hotel to others I would actually go back there myself on a similar break.
