SMELLED OLD AND OF CHEMICALS. NO SEAL UNDER FRONT DOOR NORTH WIND DRAFT ALL NIGHT. REFRIGERATOR FROZEN SOLID. ROOM REAL SMALL. TV REMOTE BATTERIES WERE DEAD.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly. However, it is right beside the interstate & traffic was very loud. Was also a lot of door banging all night long in the hallway. Not a restful night.

The clientele of this hotel is very sketchy and I kind of felt unsafe until I made it to my room and locked the door. I'd say that most people who stay here are some form of work crews or something. The room itself was comfortable but the carpet was disgusting. The general condition of this hotel is very poorly maintained, to the point that the pool […] was closed and a lovely Irish green. The pictures in the listing are flattering to say the least, and they actually look very inviting. I would defiantly not stay here again; it just has a huge “ICK” factor. Lesa meira

Very sketchy area. The room was ok. Old TV. Shower handle fell off. Pizza box and crust on top of TV cabinet. Bed and sheets were good. No WiFi (they advertise they have it). Pool is closed.

ONE PERSON AT THE FRONT DESK WAS THE MOST UNPLEASING I HAVE COME ACROSS IN A LONG TIME. SHE TOTALLY IGNORED ME AND KEPT ANSWERING THE PHONE. WHEN SHE FINALLY GOT TO ME SHE WAS VERY SNOTTY. i WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE OF HER.

The hotel seemed to be in a rougher part of town, and this maybe why they had to take some precautions. They had a note at check in warning you if anything is missing they will charge you and had a list of prices. In order to use their pool we had to sign a sheet to use their pool towels, and then a sheet saying we were going to use the pool. I had […] to hand write a paper with my personal cc number and signature for incidentals, which seemed like a pretty premitive and somewhat insecure way of doing things. The front desk lady was nice and helpful and I understand she was just doing her job. Overall not pleased with the hotel, I wish I would have gone with the same one my friends had gone with instead of saving a few bucks and going with the Quality Inn. Lesa meira

First of all the service was great but their computer were terrible .we had to wait so long to get check in.the system for keying was down unable to open the room.the rooms were clean but their mattress are over due to be change out for new ones.would I come back yes hope these problem have being corrected.

I stayed here with my 22-month old son. I was pleased with the room for the price, it was quiet and we slept well in the comfortable bed. The only issue I had was our feet were black from the carpet. I put flip-flops on me and socks on him after I figured that out. I was very pleased with the A/C... it had no problems and stayed on and kept us cool. […] Always a worry for me and hotel rooms. Need to be updated. Bed not comfortable and room had a bad smell and small. Staff friendly but slow, wont be returning.

The hotel was nice. The room me and my family had was clean and in good condition. We had no problems with the room nor the service. We arrive a little early and the staff had no problem letting us check in before time. It is in a nice area very close to shopping.

The location was not bad. But we arrived at rush hour and roads were too crowded. The hotel was nice and clean in general. The staff was welcoming... The breakfast was also satisfaying. I can recommend to the travelers for one night break...

My wife was in UAB hospital intensive care unit, and I needed a place to take a shower and sleep. This hotel was fine for that. It's not a new building, but it has recently been painted. The breakfast was skimpier than I like, but again, it was adequate.

The hotel wreaked of deodorizer, the hotel looked nothing like the web pics, and the rooms were cheesy. We left.

We stayed one night because my husband had a test to take, but it was actually 2 days after the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham tornados. They were booked with people who lost power, and people still coming in to try to get rooms. I think the hotel staff did a wonderful job. I called ahead to make sure they had got my reservations. I called the hotel 4 hours before arriving to make sure the rooms were reserved, and the front desk attendant said yes. When we arrived, he had me call hotels.com because now only ONE room was reserved, and not the other (even though he told me on the phone they were in the computer). While I was on the phone with the hotels.com representative, the […] front desk employee then FOUND the reservation. I'm not sure why the room just magically appeared, but it was a hassle. The room was comfortable and average. This is not a five star hotel but the sheets and bathroom were clean, and there was a mini-fridge for our leftover BBQ. Lesa meira

Of the five rooms reserved, three were filthy, with unmade beds, dirty linens, bathrooms, furniture, and bedspreads. I am talking crusty and black with dirt. The carpet was nasty in all of the rooms. It was over 1-1/2 hours before everyone had a usable room, because we had to wait for the housekeeping manager to come from home and find a clean room […] for the last two women.
