I asked for a non smoking. I was given a smoking room. It was disgusting. The room looked decent, but the smell was hard to handle.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. The room and the entire motel are clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff are courteous and friendly. If you are looking for all the niceties of something like a Hyatt, then don't stop here. But for a budget hotel, this Super 8 is excellent.

I was scheduled to stay at the Super 8 from Monday thru Friday because of work. It was the only hotel in the area so, its the only one i could choose from. I was kind of skeptical at first because i've never trusted Super 8's. I'm use to staying in Ramada Inn's or Drury Inn's. I was pleasantly suprised. I wasnt supposed to check in until 3 o'clock on […] monday but, called around 11 telling them i would be there at 12 and was wondering if i could check in then because i was so sick and just wanted to lay down for the rest of the day. They told me they could start on my room and it would be ready by 12:15. It was. That was great service from my point of view. It's an outdated hotel, but to me the friendliness of their staff really made up for it. Lesa meira

I happened to need a hotel in the area of the small town of Watseka, Illinois, I was surprised to find a Super 8 there. The price was reasonable, and the condition of the hotel was good and up-to-date. A pleasant facility in line with what you would expect from this motel chain. My only complaint is that it seems that half of the rooms were smoking, […] with those arranged on one side of the hallway and non-smoking on the other side of the hall. This meant that the hall smelled like an ashtray. But once inside the non-smoking room, there was no smoke odor. The combination heater/air conditioner made some odd buzzing sounds, but nothing bothersome. The motel staff was friendly. This is a farming town, and the surrounding area was rather spartan, with minimal options for eating. A tiny family restaurant is across the street, and a KFC close by. Lesa meira

No chocolates on the pillow, but this Super 8 is pretty new, very clean, and very well-maintained, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. Room was spacious and quiet, mattress was good, and I would definitely stay here again -- it's really a cut above the other budget motels I've used in the past.

Our stay was for only one night but I would not hesitate to stay longer and will certainly use that motel the next time I am in the area. Service was good, friendly and punctual. The room was clean, well appointed for a budget motel, the bed was firm but comfortable. The room was clean and smoke free. There is a little bit of train noise, but putting the fan on low masked and after 10:00 pm I don't think there were any more trains. Super 8 is definitely not fancy, but it's a nice, clean motel with a very friendly and helpful staff.

There are to other motels in Watseka that are complete dives. Super 8 is the only place to stay in this town! Everything was clean and in order!

Motel ziet er aan de buitenkant netjes uit. Wij hadden niet rokers kamers gereserveerd, maar kregen rokers kamers toegewezen. Omdat het hotel vol zat, was er geen gelegenheid dit te ruilen. Dit komt ook doordat een groot deel van de kamers voor rokers bestemd is. Onvriendelijke mevrouw aan de balie was niet servicegericht en wilde geen oplossing zoeken. […] De airco in 1 van de 2 kamers lekte waardoor er een grote plas op de grond lag en de airco niet functioneerde. Ligging van het motel tussen twee tankstations. Wel makkelijk bereikbaar aan doorgaande route. Kamer zelf ruim en met goede bedden. Het plaatsje Watseka heeft weinig te bieden. Lesa meira
