"Washington Marriott at Metro Center hótelið"Metið af Sigtryggur Si frá "Iceland" þann 24. des. 2011
Frábær staðsettning í göngufæri við helstu merkisstaði og söfn Wasingtons. Herbergin rúmgóð og hlíleg, Morgunverðarborðið eitt það allrabesta sem fyrir finnst í Bandaríkjunum. Starfsfólkið hjálplegt og yndislegt í alla staði. Mæli með þessu eindregið.

Breakfast was very good and they even had a dinner but we had other plans. Will definitely stay there again.
"Overnight stay"
Only problem with this hotel is there is no shuttle service to or from IAD...gets pricey in a cab. If you have your own car, this is a wonderful place to stay.

The staff was SO friendly. I'd reserved a 2-BR suite, and the one that I was to occupy that night was not vacated by 3:00pm. Being accommodating to the existing occupant whose flight had been delayed a few hours, allowed him to stay until early evening. I was not picking up the rest of my family until later, so I just read a book in the lobby until […] the room was vacated and cleaned. The manager and staff were very apologetic and offered me food and beverage while I waited, as well as a coupon for a nearby restaurant. I am not a reward club member, else they'd have awarded me points! Then, to my pleasant surprise, we received a gift basket of goodies to enjoy during our stay as a 'thank you' for being patient. It wasn't all of the things given to me that made this stay so enjoyable, but the sincerity and warmth of the staff in their efforts to make sure we were welcomed and comfortable. Lesa meira
"Marriott Residence @ Dulles South"
Nice Marriott Residence with very courteous & professional staff. Reasonable access to Dulles Airport, but watch out for rush-hour traffic patterns. Good restaurants right next door. Toiletry amenities in the room are minimal, but frre light dinner & buffet breakfast are nice.

we were in town for a convention at the nearby udvar-hazy museum and found our hotel to be very convenient.the staff was very helpful and the room was clean and very comfortable.

If you are ending your visit to the DC area and departing IAD, this is the place to stay. You can conveniently visit the Museum at Dulles the afternoon before your departure and get to the airport easily the following morning.

"Visiting Smithsonian at Dulles Airport"
Excellent staff, facility, accommodations and location. The breakfast is terrific as well as the breakfast staff.
Exceeded expectations. Bed a little softer than I prefer but as far as the room goes that's the only complaint from me. Maybe leave the whirlpool/hot tub open a little later for adults to use. Would be great after a long day in DC or walking the Battlefields. Overall great hotel and pleasant staff.
"Hotel Awesome, Location has Issues"
I found the Residence Inn very nice and the kitchenette was a nice surprise. Hotel had everything you needed, was clean and modern. Only problem was getting around as traffic around Dulles Airport is just plain crazy. Took me 30 minutes to go two exits. "Very Clean - Friendly Staff - Great Stay"
Quick problem resolution: hotels.com booked two rooms instead of one (comp went down in middle of reservation process) and the staff was very friendly and helpful (so was hotels.com) – great attitude and patience while we sorted everything out. (Full refund from hotels.com – no problems!) Very accommodating – we had a surprise guest and the request […] for an extra bed (even though we had a pull out sofa) and extra towels was handled quickly and again, with a smile and great attitude. Nice hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage and pour your own waffles – in addition to the regular toast, bagels, cereals, granola, yogurt, juices, etc. Everything was fresh. We stayed on a weekend, so we cannot comment on the weekly fare. Overall: A very clean property with friendly staff. We would definitely return and recommend to others. Lesa meira
We stayed 5 days. We were treated splendidly. The rooms were clean, and very carefully maintained. We had a light go out, and it was fixed in less than 5 minutes. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. It is the right place to stay, and we took advantage of its closeness to the Smithsonian Wing at Dulles. Worth the trip just to see the Museum.
"Loved Residence Inn"
Our stay at Residence Inn in Chantilly was exceptional. The Rooms were great, the location was perfect. I had a convention at th Expo Center and it was easy to find. The only glitch was the location of the room from the elevator, but we found a way around that by going outside and coming in another door, so it really became "not a problem".
