Gestum er boðið upp á ókeypis morgunverð. Í boði eru brúðkaupsþjónusta og veitingaþjónusta ef gestir ráðfæra sig við starfsfólk. Á meðal viðbótarþjónustu á þessu Viktoríustíll (1837-1901) hóteli eru garður, svæði fyrir lautarferðir og bílastæði án þjónustu. Bílastæði eru ókeypis fyrir hótelgesti. Þetta er reyklaust hótel. (Mögulegt er að sektum verði beitt ef reglur eru brotnar). Hótelið var endurnýjað að fullu og lauk framkvæmdunum í janúar 2009.
Herbergi:
Á herbergjum eru svalir með sundlaug eða húsagarð útsýni. Á The Veranda Bed & Breakfast eru 10 herbergi með loftkælingu, í þeim eru kaffivél/te og hárblásarar. Í rúmum: yfirdýnur, dúnsængur og hágæða rúmföt. Gestir geta notað ókeypis þráðlausa háhraðanettengingu í herbergjum. Í herbergjum eru sjónvörp með vökvakristalskjám (LCD) með kapalrásum. Á baðherbergjum eru baðkör með stútum og snyrtivörur frá þekktum framleiðendum.
Í öllum einingum eru í boði eldhúskrókar , örbylgjuofnar, ísskápar, blandarar og pottar/pönnur/diskar/hnífapör . Til viðbótar eru í boði straujárn/strauborð og viftur í lofti. Auk þess er boðið upp á þrif daglega og eftirfarandi þjónusta í boði ef beðið er um hana: nudd upp á herbergi. Öll herbergi á The Veranda Bed & Breakfast eru reyklaus.

Frábært í alla staði. Þjónustan til fyrirmyndar og allir svakalega allmennilegir og kurteysir. Snyrtilegir og góðir veitingastaðir. Sundlaugin allveg svakalega góð og hrein. Þjónustan við sundlaugina virk og góð. Staðsettning hótelsins mjög góð. Stutt í alla verslunarkjarna.

Hótelið stóðst allar okkar væntingar og vel það. mjög þægilegt starfsfólk, dvöldum í viku. Stutt í almenningssamgöngur, þægilegt að sækja ráðstefnuna sem við vorum á. Hreint og fínt. Morgunverður góður. Takk fyrir góða dvöl

Although Orlando is best known as a place for play, the city’s downtown reflects the area’s vibrant economy. Skyscrapers rise along Lake Eola, the site of a popular Sunday market. West of the Central Business District, the Orlando Magic holds court at the Amway Arena, while the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre hosts major concerts. The Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium is nearby.

I stayed at Veranda on a business trip. Service was friendly, there was a great spot to park right outside the room. New finishes in the room were clean and neat. Private pool and a hot tub that I could control the temperature. Restaurants and pubs next door, and the hotel is located in a historic neighborhood district of bungalows. "Convenient Thornton Park B&B"
Stay was good. Enjoyed the front porch for enjoying the weather. Unit was immaculately clean. Walked 1 block for dinner, Starbucks, convcenience store, and great breakfasts at Dexters. Bed was comfortable with lovely, fluffy duvet and nice linens.

Perfect stay at this lovely BnB: very helpful staff, nice place with typical wooden houses, pool, jacuzzi, nice room. Lake is just 5 min away and there are lots of bars and restaurants around.

Lovely quaint little place, nice sheets comfortable bed,good television, nice shower.Room a lttle small but really OK. We were told it had a kitchenette but it did not, the only thing we missed about that was no coffee maker. Overall it was a lovely place in a lovely neighbourhood

We stumbled upon this B&B through hotels.com and could not have been more pleased! It is very quaint. If you're looking for an over the top oversized Orlando vacation room, then the queen room isn't for you since it's simply a queen bedroom and bathroom, but it was perfect and cozy for two. The pool area was small but perfect for our needs, and the […] manager (I believe) who checked us in was very helpful and nice. The surrounding area is absolutely awesome. Right across the street is an amazing pizza place and a BBQ place that we never had the time to get to. Down a little ways is starbucks, a frozen yogurt place, burrito joint, and some high class dining - sushi, fish, and american. And within 5-10 minutes you're at Lake Eola and in the heart of downtown. We would absolutely stay here again. With the quaint cozy atmosphere of the B&B itself, and the proximity to amazing establishments we were sold! Lesa meira

"The Veranda - Perfect Location"
We loved the Veranda and the quaint surrounding neighborhood. We parked and walked to a concert at the Amway...it was great! We loved the restaurants in the neighborhood and the world market around the lake on Sunday. We will definitely be back!

After having been assured by the innkeeper over the phone that the room was handicap accessible, we were greeted with a bed that was too high to climb on, no table, one uncomfortable chair, no handicap parking (a space 50 yards away-really???), and an uncovered ramp with no slip protection. There were so many security lights on the building that the […] room could not be darkened and the street noise was constant. "The Veranda B&B -- charm inside downtown Orlando"
There was so much charm to this cottage-style bed and breakfast, located so conveniently to downtown Orlando. I was in town for a two day conference and was able to walk past the beautiful Lake Eola to get to my destination. Alot of character around the B&B with restaurants and night life within walking distance. I was displeased, however, that I got […] one of the rooms I read about, the Sephoria, which had an electrical outlet right by the head of the bed that was not working. No light to read in bed or plug in my CPAP machine. They really need to get that fixed. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. Didn't try breakfast, so can't comment on that. Lesa meira

The room was very small and poorly furnished yet cramped. One of the electrical outlets was dead so the bedside light plugged into it did not work. The "Continental Breakfast" was what one gets at a lower priced motel chain even though there is a Panera nearby. Parking was inconvenient - fortunately it did not rain during our stay. The Veranda was convenient […] to the government office we visited. All considered this is a tolerable place to stay, a bit expensive, with minimal amenities. Will look for another place next time. "The Veranda B&B - in Thornton Park area of Orlando"
I have a whole new perspective on Orlando after staying at this quaint, beautifully landscaped and well-kept 1900's B&B just outside of downtown Orlando. My husband and I live within driving distance so until our friends wedding at Cypress Grove over the weekend, we have never had a reason to stay in town. Let me just say that we may look for more excuses […] to do so in the future. The surrounding neighborhood of Thornton Park is filled with other adorable, well-maintained historic homes, boutiques, coffee houses & dining opportunities. Your literally minutes from the hustle and bustle of modern downtown yet this B&B and the surrounding area make you feel like you traveled back in time to the comforting neighborhoods of the early 1900's. I wish we had had more time to stay; the accomodations felt like we were on vacation yet right at home! Lesa meira
"Horrible Experience"
When looking at the pictures, this bed and breakfast looks absolutely gorgeous. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and live in the country of Haiti as missionaries and this left alot to be desired and we will never stay here again. After seeing a very very small room, we thought about cancelling but could not, but the manager didn't even work […] with us. He made us pay to upgrade even though he only had 3 guest that night. We were not able to speak with him personally. If ever in downtown Orlando again, I would not stay here if my life depended on it! No hot breakfast either!!!! "Veranda B&B in Orlando, FL"
This B&B was a great choice even though the reviews for it were not that good. The room I stayed in was very nice. It felt great to stay and enjoy myself with the other person who was there with me. The room was quaint and very inviting. I am not sure about any of their other rooms but the Europa room was awesome. The only downside is the availability […] of Parking on a busy night. But it wasn't hard to find a place to park. I only met one of the staff members through out the whole weekend. She made my stay very enjoyable. She had a great deal of information on the restaurants that were literally right outside the front gate of the B&B, along with other things to do in the area. Rates: I would call up the hotel and ask for booking first. Their nightly rates were a lot cheaper than the one that I bought it for on here. Very centrally located to downtown and other places of interest. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends who wants to go and see Orlando. Lesa meira

"Not for Business Stays"
I can not comment on the quality of the Continental Breakfasts. They were served after I and my party had to leave on our business appointments. The staff did upgrade our room to one that had a refrigerator. Parking is tricky and a little unnerving when you wake up to see that the gate was closed on the parking lot (ahh...another gate was opened around […] the block. Make sure you stock up on towels on Friday as service doesn't seem to be supplied to the rooms on the weekends. The neighborhood has all that you would need in walking distance. Although the local homeless can be a bit pushy even if you give them something. Still you can't beat the location to Orlando business district and the University. Lesa meira
