Stayed in Teide Mar apartments for 11 nights in September 2012, very good value for money and a very relaxing stay. Rooms were of a good size, basic but... had everything we needed. We were self catering and ended up eating out for most meals so cannot rate the food. The cooking equipment is good and everything was clean. During our stay we had to move rooms as building work was taking place above our room and would carry on for the duration of our stay which was very noisy and disruptive, but the staff were helpful and gave us a replacement room straight away without any fuss. The hotel seems a little tired in some aspects but everything is in working order, we did have a small leak through the ceiling in our bathroom which we reported to the reception but that was the only thing that I could complain about in regards to the condition of the hotel, as it was kept very clean and tidy. Lots of little shops and restaurants nearby and also 2 supermarkets so you can easily buy in food if you want to cook for yourself. The town is about a 20 min walk down lots of steps but taxis are cheap and there are a lot of hire car companies close to the hotel, the botanical garden is worth a visit and there are a couple of nice restaurants opposite the gardens which make a change from eating in the towns centre. We really enjoyed our stay and it was great value for money and a great location as easy to get around by foot along as you don't mind the steps. Sett inn af Liz frá West Midlands, UK frá 22.09.2012
