We have been to the Suites before and always enjoy our stay. Same for the two sister properties. This hotel is in the best neighborhood of PVR. The shops, restaurants, beach, convenience store, nightclubs,and anything else you could want are all very close and within walking distance. That's why we keep coming back. Hotel staff is so friendly and always […] helpful. They exchange your $ on site. It's only a $10 cab ride to and from the airport (double that for 5 ppl or more). Only downside to this hotel is shoddy internet. It's unreliable. They do try to help you with it, but it's just not good. Also, beds are a bit hard. Nice having a refrigerator! We don't do the all-inclusive, but some seem to really like it there. Overall, this is the best place to stay. (But don't tell anyone else.) Lesa meira

Hotel was clean,quiet and relaxing. The suite had a 2 burner hotplate, refrigerator, electric coffee maker and toaster. Take your own coffee and filters or buy some there as they are not provided. Room was adequate for what we wanted and paid. Staff was excellent and helpful at all times. Internet was not very good. Usually only available in the lobby and sometimes not even there. Great location, nice and quiet, loved Dona Susana's rooftop for laying around visiting and reading. We would return.

This was our second stay at the hotel in four years. We liked it the first time and liked it just as much this time. It is a great value for the money: quiet, attractive in a simple Mexican style, great downtown location--three minutes to the beach, an easy walk to most restaurants and most of the other places one wants or needs to go, including a convenience […] story and several minutes further, something like a supermarket. We have been traveling to PV for many years & this is the first time we stayed at the Los Arcos Suites. This hotel is in the area where there is a lot of restaurants and entertainment. One short block to the beach. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Mariana the maid and Francisco at the front desk were terrific. […] We really enjoyed Gustavo in the dining room. He was so efficient at his job and we loved that he would pratice his English & we could practice our Spanish. The room was musty at first but the staff immediately rectified the problem. Having a pool in this facility and the two others in the Los Arcos group was very convenient. Only complaint with the pool at the Los Arcos Suites was the ladder was too short and people were complaining they could not use this pool as they could not get out of it. The staff were great and always so friendly. We enjoyed our time very much. The food was very good as well, lots of variety all the time. The only issue we ran into was that there weren't enough umbrellas for the beach. If you want to lounge in the beach, the best idea is to go to the beach while your having breakfast and ask one of the beach staff […] for however many beach chairs and umbrellas you want and they will set them up for whenever you're ready for the beach. dogs barking ruined my stay. I tried TV to drown it out but very little choice in English. The bed was okay but other sitting choices in my suite were very uncomfortable (there is a kitchenette and a lot of useless furniture in the room.) This is the 2nd time that we've stayed at Los Arcos Suites. It is a very friendly hotel that is close to the beach, the Malecon and lots of great restaurants. The staff is very nice and the accommodations are adequate. While not a luxury hotel, it is clean and the rooms are spacious with king sized beds and cable television. They also have wifi and […] daily maid service. We were able to prepare simple meals in the small kitchen. Our balcony looked overlooked the beautifully landscaped pool area. We also made use of the rooftop pool at the Hotel Dona Suzanna as well as the beach at the main hotel, Los Arcos. We love that we have three pools to choose from as well as the beach. Lesa meira

We really enjoyed our stay at the Los Arcos Suites. We had a 3rd floor room with a lovely balcony overlooking a one way street and across from Casa Susana. Lots of interesting things happening all day and night. We even saw whales and dolphins from the balcony. Our room had been freshly painted and stained. The kichenette had all the supplies we needed […] as we made a few breakfasts and the fridge was great for snacks and cervesas. The staff was always cleaning or sweeping the halls and pool area. It is a very nice pool for relaxing after a day at the beach.You also have the use of The rooftop pool at Casa Susana and the pool is warm and has a magnifecent view of Puerta Vallarta. Lots of nice plants up there and chairs to relax in. When you stay at the suites you have the use of Casa Susana, and the Los Arcos hotel, where you have another pool and the beach club. The staff at Los Arcos suites, expecially Francisco made every day special. The location is excellent as it is close to many bistros, cafes, restaurants, bank , and the beach. Quiet, roomy, good location, and comfortable bed, room smelled somewhat musty, but staff put in a humidefier right away which helped, very friendly and cooperative staff, enjoyed our stay, would recommend to others as an economic and handy place for a visit to Puerto Vallarta.

A Home away from Home Room was spacious and comfortable. Kitchenette was useful. I especially enjoyed my balcony over the pool area. Other balconies were over street which could be noisy. Great location in the Zona Romantica. Just a block away from the beach. Great that you are able to utilize all the amenities of not only Los Arcos Suites, but also Playa Los Arcos and Casa Susanna. Great experience.

It was moldy, dank and dark. We did not want to sleep in the bed for fear of bedbugs. We asked to be moved, which they did, but the room was not much better. Pigeons played in the hot tub; nasty! The mattress was old and lumpy. We will not stay here again.

We had stayed there before 20 years ago. They have a delightful staff always ready to please. The location is in the most desirable area Old Town. The all inclusive was most reasonable with the quality of Food for the money was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Los Arcos Suites is quiet in an area that can be noisy. The hotes older but nicely maintained. The location is excellent in a great area. Walking distance to several great restaurants and a short stroll to the beach. We have stayed here before and will again!

Right in the heart of old town on the beach. Not for the resort vacationer but for those of us who go for the local ambience it is hard to beat for the price.

Decent value. The ability to use the Arcos sister hotels is huge: you get a chaise lounge and umbrella set up for you, with waitservice, right on the water's edge. And the Dona Susana across has a wonderful rooftop pool that was lightly used during out stay. The Suites rooms are large, the bed is comfortable, and the area surprisingly quiet.

The staff is very helpful throughout the hotel. Having a kitchenette is great for a family. The wifi works very well at no charge. The pool area is very nice to meet people and it is the very heart of town where many of the very good restaurants are. Be sure to ask the desk person where the best place to change money is. I am usually a big fan of this hotel; however the room(s) I have always requested before were not made available to me even though I am a repeat visitor many times over. Also the WiFi internet connection they advertise was available to guests less than 10% of the time. An overall step back from the quality of other years.

Stayed at Los Arcos Suites this year and last year. The state of cleanliness and service have deteriorated greatly in a year. Would not reccomend this hotel after this year. Having to move rooms twice because our reserved room was not available. Termites boring holes above our bed and bed covered in sawdust. Sink fell out of vanity. Stong odor after […] repair, glue and caulking. Room had a terrible odor as well prior to repair. Promised dehumidifier to help with smell. It never arrived. Staff member at front desk that concerns voiced to was very cool to us after the complaint. He seemed offended that we said the room had an offensive odor and seemed annoyed by us our whole stay. We love this place. It is a traditional hotel with rustic features and has everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. This year there were a few problems with overbooking and we had to stay in their main hotel for the first night but moved back to the Suites the next day. A few new music venues opened up on the corner near the hotel which […] made for very noisy Saturday nights. Still, it is a very comfortable place and the location can't be beat! Rooms are clean but not fancy, great location lots of stuff within walking distance. Hotel could use some newer coverlets. On the plus side, everything worked in the room, showers and plumbing are okay, rooms are large, we had a junior suite. We were very comfortable at the Los Arcos Suites. We enjoyed the balcony, the living room, the king size bed, and the pleasant staff - and especially the location, near good restaurants, banks, free WiFi, convience stores and the nearby beach. We plan to stay there during our next visit to Puerto Vallarta.

The problem with this hotel is it has no amenities but it claims that it does because you can use the ones at the sister property, Playa Los Arcos, which although only a short block away, is very inconvenient.They don't even stock pool towels for their pool - you have to go down the block and all the way through the Playa Los Arcos to the beach to get/drop […] off a towel! There is no restaurant, concierge, sundry shop or manager on site - you're constantly being told to go to the other hotel. The focus is their convenience, not the guest's convenience. Also many of the towels, linens, blankets and comforters are in tatters, and the extra "beds" in the suites are really uncomfortable. There was mold in the bathroom. Lesa meira

The rooms are dark, no windows other than the front door with curtains on them, dank and mildew ridden. In fact, my suitcase, toiletry bag, and any items and or garments left hanging out and or in the open still smell of that room since returning back to NYC in frigid weather, 4 days later.. Everything in that room is moist, including the bedsheets. […] You can hear the waterpipes running from adjoining rooms, footsteps and voices. This place is an utter nightmare. You feel like you're in a cave. I asked 3 times to be moved to another room and each room I was offered was worse than the first. In fact, I wouldn't let my petdog sleep on the sofas they offer as cots and or pullout beds~ My suggestion to everyone is stay at The Tropicana. My first 5 nights were there in a junior suite overlooking the ocean with gasping views, airy, bright and clean. Lesa meira

Staff was excellent, very helpful, went out of their way to get us stuff and make calls for you, help you with pesos change. Just an extrodinary group of workers. Felt very safe in neighborhood. rooms very big and kitchenettes. Only one problem is shower head in our room was not working proper. We have stayed at the Los Arcos Suites twice now and find it very good. We have a two young boys and want enough space, a basic kitchenette and balcony in a very clean, safe, quiet hotel and of course in an excellent area for a good price. The Los Arcos Suites ticks all those boxes for us. A perfect example of what a 2-3 star hotel should be.
