"Nice except for train!"
Rooms were ok and clean...nothing special but nothing to really complain about either. The main issue was it's location right by the train tracks. The train would insist on blowing it's loud horn every time it passes by at 6am and sometimes 3-4am. Not a good sleep any of the 3 nights I was there.

Great Location. Accomodations were nice. Hotel decor is very dated. Lighting is very dim including restrooms. Breakfast buffet was nice. Free wi fi and breakfast should be included in room price for this type of hotel but both were additional charges. Work out room was nice.

"Fort Collins Hilton"
Although we were pleased overall with the hotel, the $10.00 charge per day for internet service is ridiculous. In addition, the business center is $1.00 per minute after the initial 30 minute free session. As a business person I would have to consider if the overall quality of the hotel rated such charges. I do not believe that this hotel is worth the price. It is convenient to Colorado State University and the Starbucks in the lobby is a nice perk. The swimming pool area is nice and the hot tub is very hot. However, the rooms are small - cramped for a family of four; the beds are small; the AC can not be adjusted so the room got warm, the sink and […] the bathtub both backed up and did not drain well at all. We did not eat in the building as there are many great restaurants nearby. The hotel is not bad - it is just not worth the nightly cost. Lesa meira
"Excellent stay"
I found it interesting that the check in desk was so small but the service was excellent. Very engaging staff. Room was clean. Only issue I had was noise from the hotel bar below and the trains at night.

"Hilton Ft Collins, CO"
Wonderful staff, very accomodating and quickly responds. We woke up to ants crawling on the nightstand. Told them about it and they accomodated us for the inconvience and had 2 workers plus the manager up within 45 min. to check out the situation. We were on the 3rd floor and it was a puzzle how they got there.

Perfect location, great room and amenities, staff were fabulous.. Breakfast was good. Wifi available but extra charge. Overall great hotel with easy access to everywhere you need!
This is a nice, clean hotel, but a bit pricey compared to others in the area.I had to leave early due to a family emergency (flight for Denver at 5 am). Rather than wait until 2-3 am to make the drive, I decided to leave a 11 pm the night before. The hotel tried to charge me an additional $50 fee for leaving outside of normal checkout hours, even though […] I had ALREADY paid for the room through the following morning. "Fast and Furious Trip"
We arrived very late = 1:00am, driving 4 hours into Fort Collins because my Son was admitted to the hospital with appendicitis. Discovered our room was a king bed, when I had booked two double beds. Front desk staff was courteous and quick to swap rooms to get us the 2 beds...even in that early morning hour. Beds were very comfy. "The Hilton in Ft. Collins"
I was very impressed by the Hilton in Ft. Collins. As soon as I got to my room, they phoned to see if everything was OK. They left a sweet poem about staying away from home. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable and the room was very clean. I also had a nice conversation with a desk clerk from Prague. He was so helpful and interesting. I loved this hotel stay. they had Starbucks, sunblock, soda machines and coffee available at important hours. The staff was courteous and helpful. I relaxed and enjoyed my sleep without a snoring husband!

It was a nice hotel...fairly close to old downtown Ft. Collins. It was nice, but nothing amazing. I was a little upset that the rooms didn't include a refrigerator. With all the great breweries in Fort Collins, you would think that someone (like me) would be buying a few craft beers and would want to keep them cool. Would I recommend this hotel? "Skip the buffet"
The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. However, when it came to the breakfast buffet, it fell short of what I expect from Hilton. The food was cold and the french toast was so tough I could not cut it with my fork. My daughter had a bowl of cereal and a glass of juice and instead of charging us off the menu for […] it, we were charged the $14 buffet price. I ate my bacon, drank my coffee and spent $33 to be terribly dissappointed. We did however order a couple opf things off of the menu, and the food was quite good. "Loud Trains honking all night"
We stayed here for the convenience of the hotel location to CSU stadium, where I was running in the Horsetooth Half Marathon. The hotel was nice and the room clean, but we heard trains on the very near tracks honking their horns well into the night. Not a great night sleep especially before a race. "Good hotel at a fair price"
The hotel grounds and interior seemed very well maintained. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. Only complaint was the AM front desk staff. When I tried speedy checkout, nobody answered the front desk phone. The counter was unattended when I went to check out in person as well.

"The Hotel in Ft Collins-close to CSU"
The hotel caters to Colorado State so expect not being high on the list during a CSU event. The last night there there was some sort CSU event held in the inside open area lobby every room overlooks. There was cheering and going on until well past 10:30 so loud it was hard to hear the TV. We had an early flight out of Denver so early to bed was not […] an option. The hotel needs to consider either adding some a separate building for gatherings like this or restrict the type of events held in the open lobby area, like no pep rallies, live bands and so forth. Likewise regardless of the bed size you reserve and how far in advance you reserve it if there is a CSU or other group event going on you will not get what you reserved. The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. They do need to change out the room clock radio's to something that will work inside the hotel. While you can re-set the alarm you cannot correct the clock that is GPS controlled. Since the time was over an hour off most likely due to being unable to receive a GPS signal we had to resort to other means to make sure we got up in time to make the trip to Denver and our flight. Very friendly staff, older looking hotel, amazing food amenities with a Starbuck's inside, beautiful view from the second floor at least, easy access to main roads and highway.

"Prospect Hilton Fort Collins: a Great Stay"
The Fort Collins Hilton on Prospect is downtown. Two blocks west I lucked upon a great little restaurant, the El Monte Grille and Lounge - super yummy food at reasonable prices (I had the salad betabel and crab sope - highly recommend this meal!). Nearby is also a shopping center with a Whole Foods market and liquor store. I like to grab my own 6-pack […] of beer and raw fruit supply so this was utterly convenient. Hotel interior very pleasant, in the center the roof extends up to the top of the building (9 floors?). A hallway leading to all rooms circles the perimeter on all floors and you can see the entire expanse from any floor. Increased visibility like this means greater security, anyone approaching your hotel room door is visible very publicly. The elevator has glass walls so you can see the expanse of the hotel as you ride it. Pillows at the Hilton are always great - seem like feather ones. Room spotless, service excellent, all hotel employees gracious and helpful. Put up the 'do not disturb' sign all days as I like my utter privacy. Got a card under the door each day asking if I needed specific items, checked off the ones I wanted (coffee resupply, etc.) and found a bag with these things hanging on my doorknob when I got back to the hotel in the evening - very convenient and considerate. I was in a rush one morning, couldn't take full breakfast, grabbed a superbly cooked omelet and some chunks of fruit and got charged only $4.00 for this! Food is excellent quality and really reasonably priced. Best hotel experience ever. Lesa meira
"September 2010 Stay"
It was a very nice hotel and nice room. Everything was in order. The train that blows it's horn non-stop for about a solid minute or two was a heck of a wake up call before the sun came up. But I would stay here again.

"Excellent hotel in great location."
This hotel is perfect for anyone needing to travel to CSU. Although there is not much else around the hotel due to its proximity to the campus, the location cannot be beaten. Great service, Starbucks coffee and very clean. I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

"Hilton at Fort Collins CO"
This was a nice hotel and the staff was most helpful and friendly. However, the room was quite small compared to other Hilton Hotels.

"Never judge the book by it's cover!!"
The property is extremely nice looking and conveniently located in central Ft. Collins. With that said, no fiscally responsible person not infatuated with "name brands," should ever stay at this Hilton!! For $XXX.XX we were expecting a larger sized room, visible television channels, and free wi-fi!! We've stayed at many "two star" hotels and received […] all three at nearly half the price!! The fact that the hotel sits 150 yards from a major railroad crossing didn't help either; although if we were able to watch T.V. (not snowy pictures,) the loud whistle might not have been as noticeable! And who's ever heard of a three and a half star hotel not offering free wi-fi...or a bagel, muffin or even a small glass of OJ? Never, ever again man!! In summary: 1. small room, 2. terrible television reception, 3. NO freebees, 4. Loud A## train whistle...the bed was nice though. Lesa meira
"Need improvement"
Rooms were so small and 2 doubles was not big enough for my husband, son and I. Also room service charges a fee for ordering, plus they automatically add a tip.......we did not know that and so we tipped twice and paid $30 for a small pizza and two small glasses of coke!

The only thing I can think of that would have made this very fine room even better would have been a small refrigerator.
