Wifi didn't work, room stunk, gross breakfast, ghetto location (although a block away from Main Street)... If ever returning to Missoula, will not stay here again!

It was what it was. The motel a block from the Wilma in downtown Missoula. Went for a show and it provided a place to sleep afterwards. Staff was amazingly polite and nice. Room needed some maintenance but was clean and had king size bed. Stayed there before , would definitely stay again. Perfect location in downtown.

The location was convenient. The shower was very dirty, soap scum and hair in the shower.

the location of the hotel is great, it's located to really cool shops and night life. The night person was a little less than pleasant to deal with. I'm sure he deals with all sorts of people at night but wasn't very helpful or friendly. The rooms are pretty gross but for the money, you get what you pay for. I have stayed in many motels in Eugene but you will not find a better value then this one. The staff is very friendly, the internet works great, location is prime, room is very much like a very nice living room with refrigerator, microwave, great heating system. Although the front desk folks were very friendly, the sheets hadn't been changed, and we found an earring on the floor next to the bed. The paint in the bathroom was peeling and the tub didn't want to drain. Don't know that I will stay there again.

There was a candy wrapper behind one of the nightstands that never got cleaned. The floors didn't look vaccuumed. The shower curtain didn't fit across the shower. Very few outlets. I had to unplug a light to use my CPAP machine. Hotel was under renovation and we had one of the renovated rooms, but there were stains at the baseboards of the bathroom […] walls. The top dresser drawer tilted like it would fall out when you opened it. The pool had a tarp over it, tho it was supposed to be opened by this time of year. No notice was given that it was not available. Not enough parking. Most of the rooms were empty (you could tell because the curtains were open on the available rooms) and we had no place to park the first night. The clerk had us park in a throughway area. If even half of the rooms were in use, there wouldn't be enough spots. Parking on the steet has meters. I did not feel safe. It was just plain creepy. The doors to the stairs were always locked from the outside even tho the sign said it would be locked after 10 PM. We had to go into the lobby every time we went to our room, which was located on the opposite side. I do not recommend this motel. The price was too expensive for what you got. Good little place, great for the money, and a fantastic location in downtown Missoula next to shops, restaurants, the university, and a streetcorner where a guy told me I was pretty.

Breakfast was very disappointing. The hot water was lukewarm at best for tea or oatmeal. Not a good offering.

Overall was good, except there was construction going on, so was difficult to park and was quite loud at times.

Hotel is in a bad part of town and right across the street from bars and porn. Parking is very limited with most having to park on the street. Room was dirty and smelled and rundown. The staff was superb! They were extremely friendly and quite knowledgable about the location. I wanted to eat at a local restaurant however, they made the suggestion of trying their local farmer''s market and crafts fair. the room we stayed in was small and dirty, would not recommend it to any one, had to go get toilet paper from the desk cause they only left a half a roll in the room, their breakfast place there was only cereal a few different type of rolls and no toast or even a waffle and the coffee was so strong you could not even drink it, Motel 6 would have been […] a better stay than this place Lesa meira

As far as location this was PERFECT for my weekend. I didn't have to drive hardly at all unless I was going to the mall. Was able to walk all over downtown without straying too far from the motel. This hotel used to be a much nicer hotel. Over the last several years when it changed management the quality of the hotel has decreased dramatically. This time the heat did not work in my room and the staff made no attempt to fix it. The person at the front desk gave me extra blankets and a space heater which helped. This is an older chain hotel. It was perfect for the one night stay I had. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room as I was there to hit the Wilma. Worked for me as a place to sleep over night so that I didn't have to drive home after the show. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was in a great location to spend time in […] downtown Missoula. Though I would like to stay a night in the summer to see how the inner courtyard looks with the pool. Parking was really neat because you park street level and the hotel is built above the parking area. The inner courtyard is in the middle of the parking area with a lot of foliage. Lesa meira

This hotel was not equiped to handle the weather. A water pipe broke and we had no water one morning. then that night the heat went out. When I called the front desk they brought me a small space heater like the one that goes under a desk to warm your feet. It was 6 below zero.

This wasn't 1 of the downtown hotels next to the water, nor lit all up. In fact, I would've never paid attention to it driving down the road had I not been going there specifically. Missoula doesn't strike me as unsafe, but if it was, then I might be a little leery going here. However, I arrived at night & left dark early morning. On the downside, it […] was winter so the pool was closed, the breakfast was sparse, my 1st room wasn't clean (throughout) and my 2nd room looked like the carpet wasn't much cleaner, and the walls/ceiling looked in need of repair, the walls in bathroom were dirty, & the bedsheets had cigarette burns or stains on them. On the plus side, the owner/desk attendant was super nice, friendly, very understanding & accommodating -even last minute. The room had the free internet, cable tv, fridge/microwave, etc... This hotel is very convenient to the downtown area, everything in walking distance. But the hotel is very old and in bad need of remodeling! I am amazed that the Days Inn still allows this hotel to have their name! The bathroom was claustrophobic and needed some repairs, loose sink faucet, vent fan sounded like it was ready to die any minute, tub shows […] its years. It was clean though, except for a few long dark hairs here and there. The only windows in the rooms look out onto the walkway and inner courtyard, so if you leave the curtains open, everyone who walks by looks in your room. When I checked out the lady at the desk called me a liar about needing a receipt since I used Expedia to book my stay. If a hotel doesn't want bookings from 3rd parties then they should not use them! All in all this is a place to lay your head, nothing more, very old and needing remodeling! Lesa meira

The Days Inn - University is run down and in need of maintenance. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The motel was very clean. The room had absolutely NO ventilation and smelled stale. There were no opening windows and no air exchange system. I had to go to Target and purchase febreeze to eliminate the odor. Terrible location with strip club next door, lots of street noise, no safe parking. Walls are paper thin. Room was musty and AC didn't work. We walked out and decided to eat the money we had prepaid for the reservation.

I was very disappointed with this location. Days Inn is a national chain and I expected certain standards. Everything about our room was not good. The beds were lumpy, there were patched over holes in the roof and walls, half the lights didn't work, no remote for the tv. The list could go on and on. I will not stay here again.

Due to the city landscaping, it was very difficult to see the hotel sign. However, the hotel staff was very helpful to direct me to the parking garage. I was a bit uncomfortable with the room having a door that adjoined to the next room. Since we were 2 women in a hotel hundreds of miles from home, I would have preferred a room with only one door. A nice cheap place to stay close to down town Missoula, and all the action. Although it isn't the fanciest of places, it works if you are just looking for a cheap place to crash.

The price was right for a nice room in the heart of Missoula during the summer season. The owner and manager, Sanjay Patel, was remarkably hospitable. The only glitch was that the ice machine was on the fritz but Mr. Patel said a new one was on order and the hotel kept a cooler at the front desk. After I booked at this location, I just happened to read what others had to say about the place. It's all negative nonsense from several years ago. This is a great spot. A very nice East Indian family owns and operates the place. They could not have been friendlier or more attentive to my needs. Scrap those other reviews. This place is a bargain!!
