This is an excellent hotel (one of the best hotels I have ever stayed). It is the entire package that makes the difference: (a) extremely helpful and friendly staff, (b) very clean rooms, (c) excellent attention to detail, e.g., slippers for the shower, (d) hotel management to actively approach guests, e.g., asking whether late check-out would be preferred […] (without extra cost), (e) free and working! Pleasant, small hotel on a good location in Kolonaki. Lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops in the neighbourhood. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great hotel. It is in Kolonaki, one of the nicest parts of Athens, in a lovely side-street with shady trees close to lots of good restaurants and bars. Super big comfy beds, great sized room in a good part of town. Kolonaki is easily accesible into the centre of Athens by foot, and great bars eateries nearby. If you want minor quibbles, (& they are minor), both […] rooms could have done with a more thorough dust than they had recieved, if you go for breakfast at peak times be prepared for a bit of a wait, oh and don't drink the jacuzzi water. My husband and I stayed at the Persicope Hotel in August of 2011. The hotel concierge was great. However, everything other than the concierge was less than satisfactory. The condition of the room left much to be desired, especiall the bathroom. The shower was improperly engineered resulting in a lake in the bathroom everytime we took a shower. There […] was also a crack in the cheap bathroom linoleum floor as well as along the cheap walls. Also, the restaurant employees were very rude. A real gem of a find in Kolonaki area of Athens. Great staff who very helpful. Easy walking distance to all Athens major sites and around to great shopping district in Kolonaki district. We will defineltey be staying there again on our next visit next year.

The Persicope Hotel was in a nice quiet location but within walking distance of all the major Athens sights. The area had some great upmarket shopping and cute coffee shops and restaurants. It was a great base away from the tourist madness. It was our last stop after a glorious two week stay on the Greek islands. What a big disappointment, luckily we were staying only one night. We were expecting a small, cool, boutique hotel. First impression: The lobby looked like a we were checking into a youth hostel. The room was smaller than a bread box, dark with a lovely view of an air shaft. Not […] the room pictured on their website, for sure. The bathroom door didn't close and the paint was peeling off the wall in the shower. Lastly the man at the front desk struggled to recommended restaurants to us in the neighborhood. They did have great products though in the bathroom by Korres and a lovely little restaurant off the otherwise bland lobby. Lovely hotel in a posh neighbourhood close to a lot of shopping but a few metro stops away from the main tourist attractions in Athens. Great staff but a bit odd there are steps leading up to the hotel but no ramp for luggage. Breakfast was very good as well.

Nice hotel for easy access to all shops (Kolonaki area) and good restaurants. The room was nice (great bed!) and comfortable, but the bathroom needs a renovation. The breakfast was bit disappointing. In overall great for a weekend getaway.

the room was clean, "modern" and well maintained. the cabdriver we hired couldn't find the hotel very easily. the location of the hotel we printed off the website showed the hotel to be a couple blocks away on another street. The streets are short and narrow. staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was beyond our expectations with fried eggs […] and bacon as part of the buffet. The hotel provided a lap top computer free of charge. The nearest Metro station is several blocks away but the walk isn't bad and the neighborhood appears to be very safe and quiet. Lesa meira

I loved this hotel. It was perfect for my stay in Athens before heading off to the islands. I woke up in the mornings and hiked up Lycabetus Hill to see the entire view of Athens. Periscope was in a perfect locaton near Syntagma Square which enabled me to see the "changing of the guards" before my flight to Crete. we read all the reveiws about this hotal many times,we must admit some was not that great, specially from our Americans friends and the problems they experience!, but by the two telephone conversations I had with the hotel,they where most informative and very helpful. When we did arrive, again they were very welcoming and informative,specially the young […] gendleman at the reception,who gave me a map and show me everything I needed to know. All the staff was friendly, but another member of staff stood out,she was the chamber maid who popped around early evening to see if everything was alright and gave us each a chocolate,she was most helpful and had a lovely nature. the hotal it self was up to standed,clean,neat and tidy ( building work was opposite,not much,but we did'nt heard much if not at all) if anything it was alittle too quite,the so call nigth club was the bar, which was'nt really used, but even if it was it would of made our stay abit better!. there are down side to this hotal, the plumbing could be alot better( the shower),but could be overcomed, and the hotal was well situated for everything, but from the metro station its up hill,after a few days your fitness tells.Athens is lovelly,but is expensive,a nigth out cost you a few bob,metro is quite cheap and easy to get about. 部屋はそこまで広い訳ではないですが、とても清潔で快適です。フロントの応対もとてもいいです。そして何より、朝ごはんのバイキングが最高に美味しいです！！日本でもなかなかないだろうという質の高さで、ギリシャ料理にちょっと疲れてしまっていたおなかをいやしてもらいました。例えば…オレンジジュースを頼んだら、なんと生絞りオレンジジュースが出て来ます(笑)

Sauberes Zimmer mit modernem Interieur, sehr geschmackvoll. Trotzdem Athen eine sehr laute Stadt ist hat man durch Lage eine ruhige Nacht. Das Hotel liegt in einem der besten Viertel der Stadt und ist gut durch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angebunden. Wer das gehen nicht scheut ist auch in 15-20 min am Fuße der Akropolis. Diese Hotel kann jedem emfpohlen werden, der ein sauberes und zeitgemäss gestyltes Hotel sucht. Plüsch und Messing sucht man hier vergebens. Umso freundlicher ist das Personal.
